Great campus! They offer a little bit of everything needed in Healthcare. Excellent staff from top down, administration, physicians, NP'S, social workers, admissions, therapists, nurses and floor staff! No place is perfect but they have a lot of staff that care and go above & beyond

Asbury is the best thing anyone in need could ask for. The staff here is kind and caring, and they really go above and beyond for the residents. The place is very clean, but if you require medication this is not the place you want to be. Richard spends more time strolling the hallways with his cart while scrolling on his personal cell phone than paying attention to the people there. Several times my sister and I inquired if our mother had been given her medication/breathing treatments and he didn’t know. He said it was not documented in the computer, but was sure the morning person would’ve administered it, then asked if we knew! Totally clueless. Medications were given too close together or skipped. The facility itself is nice, the majority of staff is lazy, unprofessional and lacks compassion. There was one woman, I think her name was Lillian, that was wonderful. Only one there that that was any good.

My mom & I recently toured The Embassy of Asbury Heights and we were so impressed. The building was nice & clean, spacious and had plenty of bright natural light. It was beautifully painted and had nicely decorated common areas. Every staff person and resident we met along our tour were so friendly and welcoming. And John Komisary who gave us the tour was such an excellent tour guide! He was so kind and patient, and gave us plenty of time to ask questions. Thank you!

My mom has had several respite stays and I am so thankful for asbury’s caring staff. From Alyssa in admissions to Gynu, the nurse supervisor. George really was so helpful and answered any questions I have had. My mom really enjoyed all the activities offered. You can really tell the people who work there really care about the people that live there.

i was so impressed with how caring everyone was. It is so hard when you are trying to make decisions about the people you care about. I can honestly say that Erica, the doctors and nurses are very helpful and supportive. I feel that they personally care for the people who are into Asbury in personal care. It makes you feel good knowing that people you care about are going to be taken care of by people like them.

I visited the skilled nursing memory care unit and just wow! It was so clean, and staff greeted me with a smile. You can tell they are passionate about their jobs. They also had the unit decorated so beautifully for the spring which is really awesome to see for the residents who live here. I would recommend them to anyone in need of skilled nursing services!

Beautiful facility! The main building has many amenities including transportation, a library, beauty and barber shops, 2 chapels, post office, bistro, clothing store, and multiple areas to relax by the fireplaces, play games, build puzzles, etc. The real gem is The Embassy! The apartments are very spacious with walk in closets, and the first floor renovation is simply stunning. This is definitely a facility to tour if you’re considering a retirement community. The location is convenient, the staff is accommodating, and the residents are welcoming.

I had the pleasure of observing an art activity this week, not only did the residents have an outstanding time the activity department staff was great and so engaging with the residents.. Michaela the nursing home administrator was leading the artistc way along with Genetiva Hospice rep Lindsey almost forgot to throw a social worker into the mix, Antoinette who helps drive it home with these Happiness Groups as she calls them.. This Activity Rocked.. Cheers to the hard working activity team who runs all over the campus and bring joy to many

The activities were thoughtfully planned, engaging, and truly brought a sense of community and joy to everyone there. This was my first experience at Asbury Heights and I was overwhelmed at first about the size. I met with John Komisary and Amy Walter who were very personal and professional. John took much patience to answer my questions about all the levels of care at Asbury. He answered my questions about amenities and financial matters. We then did a tour and again I was surprised at the many social activities and in-house health services available. I was pleased to see resident rooms to have an idea of what is included in the apartments. All were well equipped with thoughtfulness. I do have an appointment to visit Embassy house and look forward to the visit. I feel that I could be comfortable in the apartments that I viewed. I commend John for his patience and left feeling all my concerns were answered.

I highly recommend Asbury Heights as a care facility and community for people looking for rehab, personal care, memory care, assisted living , exc. I am frequently in the building as a visitor. Everyone I have come across is extremely kind, the staff and leadership care deeply about their residents and staff, it is always clean and a wonderful group of individuals work here. They have a wellness clinic on campus that helps bridge care for residents. I would feel confident in having my loved ones stay here for care or a place to live.

Great nursing home and excellent staff! Wasnt to big on a few of the cafe employees. Think they need a few attitude adjusments or a new position if they dont like to be social. I definatly will not return to cafe. Nursing home is definatly a thumbs up!!

Rating based on security only. Asbury not only allows unfettered access to residents, but security guard who is supposed to be at the main desk is never there. Also, a stack of VISITOR badges is right there for the taking. The security code is ridiculously easy to figure out. Some residents have no contact orders against specific persons. When challenged, the "guard" said "they handle that at the nurses' station". This was after I insisted the "guard" look at my photo ID. Nurses were quite surprised when I told them I just walked in after I pasted a Visitor badge on my clothing.

The staff at Asbury are exceptionally kind, helpful, and compassionate. As big as this facility is, we have never experienced a place where almost every employee can walk by a resident and address them by name. The clinic doctors and nurses are very helpful and kind, and go over and beyond to provide great care. The director for the independent living buildings is also highly personable and attentive. It is comforting to know we can always call her for support when needed. Overall, we are very grateful and satisfied with the services our mother has received at Asbury.

My husband and I recently moved our family member to this facility in the skilled nursing area. The Staff is wonderful and attentive. Everyone we come in contact with from nurses, doctors, and housekeeping are pleasant and have such a positive attitude. This facility is clean and well taken care of. The rooms and common areas have plenty of bright natural light. The chapel is warm and welcoming, and just outside the chapel is a large bird cage with three birds. We enjoy sitting in that area and watching the birds There are also many opportunities for different food choices for the residents, and that is very much appreciated! We would recommend this facility to others, as we have found out that it is very difficult to find a right fit for loved ones.

My mom recently came home from rehabbing on the 2nd floor. These people are amazing! The nurses, the aides, and especially the PT and OT staff - everybody was just so nice and my mom left there SO STRONG!!! I highly recommend the 2nd floor!!!

As a health care professional and retired health coach, we stressed to families + patients the importance of seeking evidence- based information to make an informed decision. When our family was presented with the decision to find a facility for my brother, his diagnosis, his decline in activities of daily living, memory + thinking struggles, and level of care led us to Asbury Heights. Other factors which were very important to us + were met by AH; costs, comfort, amenities, faith, activities, safety and 24-hour care with compassionate, kind and respectful staff. Another important decision for our family was a facility close to us so our brother would continue with necessary family support thru his Dementia journey. When making any decision for your loved one's level of care always seek information to make an informed decision and look at what the facilities offer to your loved one to manage his well-being and maintain the family's peace of mind. Asbury Heights met ours and my brother is happy + safe there.

This is going to be the new residence for a family member. This community offers just about everything to support senior living. Now run by UPMC, the building are being renovated to bring the accommodations up to a higher standard. There are many conveniences ( post office, library, cafe and medical clinic) that are designed to keep the residents from having to travel offsite. Staff is friendly, caring and accommodating. Highly recommend.

I like this place for seniors lots of activities for residents and restaurant style served meals in some areas, the meals here are way better than some I've seen in other places, also great nurses with the way times are now those nurses and staff really are trying their best and doing well !

I have to say, during this pandemic Asbury has been amazing in their ongoing efforts to keep my father safe. From reading articles about other facilities, one of the smartest things Asbury did was invest in getting equipment to create "negative pressure rooms" to prevent the spread of Covid once a resident tested positive. From what I can tell, that's what saved this place from becoming just another horrible statistic. And I am eternally grateful for all their team's hard work to take care of my Dad. He has both shots of vaccine now, so God willing, he'll make it through this chaos. My best wishes to other families trying to figure out what to do.

The Villa staff has been amazing during this COVID disaster. From communication, to care, and their compassion for my parents. My Auntie Ethel has been a resident of Asbury Heights for over a year. We have been pleased with the care from the skilled nursing section and overall. While there is always room for improvement - we are pretty satisfied. Auntie requires suppositories daily as well as other care and everyone from the top down (including the new administrator) have been great at skilled care. Will recommend.
