The staff and facility have been a great solution for my parents. They are able to have help 24/7, and be together in the same room. Both really wanted to age in place in their home but memory and physical issues meant someone needed to be readily available round the clock. They have settled into their new home and love their caretakers.

Paradise Assisted Living took care of a close family member for 5-years. Their care and concern for them was consistent, respectful and thorough. The facilities are clean, bright and airy. The new owners are on top of patient care and provide personal interactions with families and residents. When necessary, they are also close to the hospital for those physical issues that happen with elderly occupants. The interactions between occupants are often good natured and encouraged during meals and group activities.

My relative has been here for over 4 years, but I have to review now since the change in ownership. New owners are wonderful! Lusanta and Saaj are involved with daily operations and have an active presence in the facility, and I also appreciate that they take the time to connect with the residents. The rest of the staff are very kind and warm with the residents, it is a nice and close knit community that she has been welcomed into, which we are very thankful of 🙂 The facility is clean and always decorated in some way for the holidays and seasons. Each resident has their own birthday cake baked by the wonderful chef Sussy, and we have heard a lot of good things about her cooking and cakes! Overall it has been a wonderful experience and home, thank you all for your hard work and care!

Paradise Villa is the perfect fit because the building itself isnt too big or too small.My fear with a smaller home is residents sitting in their room and not getting necessary movement... and larger communities can be too much to safely navigate.Paradise Villa is very easy and not confusing at all; this is especially good for residents with memory issues. They also provide both Private and Shared Rooms as an option. The shared room is a good idea to reduce expenses. Moreover, I thank goodness theres an affordable Memory Care Option on this scale that exists in Santa Cruz.

As a Senior Living Adviser and Expert in the area, I have known the owner for a few years. I really like Paradise Villa because they cover a wide-spectrum of care and they also have great rates for dementia care... this can be hard to find. So if Paradise Villa is a fit for my Assisted Living clients, then I certainly send them to Paradise Villa first.
