Very nice place to work. I have been here almost 12 years. My brother was here for rehabilitation and he bragged about how nice the aides and nurses were. He likes Madonna Manor better than most places he has been too.

My Mother-in-Law was recently a patient in rehab. The staff provided amazing care and encouraged her to work towards her goals. My mother-in-law had a lot of complicated illnesses that eventually took her life, but staff were communicative, compassionate, and collaborated with outside providers along with internal providers to give her the best chance she could have. And even after her passing, the staff have been so supportive to my family and I as we grieve the loss of a very important person in our lives.

We give Madonna Manor and staff 5 Stars, and our appreciation and gratitude for their care of our family member. Our family member went into Madonna Manor in November expecting a short-term respite care stay during his treatment for a head and neck cancer. One of the first hurdles we faced finding his care was the fact that he had a recently placed trach, (for those unaware, in the state of Kentucky most care facilities are not willing to take patients with a newly placed trach) after countless calls to facilities in Kentucky and visits to some that would accept us in Ohio, we struck gold with Madonna Manor. From the very start Admissions and the Director of Nursing understood completely the challenges that we were facing and assured us that the staff at Madonna Manor was perfectly willing and capable of meeting our needs. We were happy to have a solution closer to home and the move from Drake Center took place just before Thanksgiving. Several weeks after his admission the treatment started a series of significant "bumps in the road" began. With each new bump the nursing staff on Household A rose to the occasion. They dealt with what seemed like an ever-changing list of health concerns and the need for an escalation in the level of care that was required without missing a beat! Throughout the stay when he was able, and therapies were prescribed, the PT and speech staff also exceeded expectations in their level of care and patience with our family member. Their concern in his recovery and their encouragement in the progress that he made also played a key role in his success. In addition to the exceptional level therapy and nursing care, the administrative team was always willing to assist our efforts to understand the Medicare claims and the routine "appeals" processes. There was a genuine desire to see that our family member received all of the benefits that he was entitled to. Their assistance resulted in getting benefits that would have otherwise been denied on numerous occasions. Finally, as if all of this was not enough, Madonna Manors supporting staff members were also incredible. The aides were always polite and helped in assisting with basic needs. The housekeeping staff deserves a huge pat on the back, they do and amazing job and are always upbeat and friendly. Madonna Manor is without a doubt the cleanest facility that we looked at, and also happens to be the cleanest care facility that I've personally ever visited. Last but certainly not least, the kitchen staff should also be recognized. While our family member was unable to enjoy the food for the majority of his stay I can tell you that we witnessed other residents enjoy great looking meals served by a dedicated staff every day. Seven months later, after all of the hurdles and treatments our family member has walked out the doors of Madonna Manor to return home. We can say with all confidence that had it not been for the care he received at Madonna Manor, his recovery would not have been as successful. 5 Stars for sure! Thank you all, Family of RS

my mother in law just began her temporary stay here, for some physical therapy rehabilitation. Its a very nice place it's a clean an fairly decent facility. /// An after a month VERY long an boring stay at the hospital she's definitely ready to begin her therapy, to get back up and moving about then to be able to get back home, She's already planning to be out and about the place with her being at the hospital that long an not being able to leave her room at all or even to go back an forth threw out inside her room. With her now being at Madonna Manor She will have the option to go about an around the place whenever she's wanting to. The staff seem very polite and helpful an ALWAYS willing to go out their way to help an or offer her as well as her visitor's any information or help in anyway they can. It's looking very hopeful and promising that she should be up moving around on her own, hopefully VERY soon… For I know she's very ready to be back home around the family an in her own space and home once again….

My Mom was here for rehab. We loved the care she received! Staff was great!

Telephone prompts are terrible. I called to find out the address and whether my relative was at their facility so I could send a card. I was given the run around. All they want to do is sign people up to stay there. Very bad customer service.

My father is staying at Madonna Manor while recovering from surgery. My family attended mass on Sunday and enjoyed a wonderful lunch in the dining room afterwards. The staff was cheerful, kind, thoughtful, and accommodating. It's rare that we're able to all be together with my father. We're grateful the staff at Madonna Manor made that possible for us.

Nursing and administration staff showed love and kindness to my longtime friend who love at Madonna Manor for years. He loved living here and he always treated with respect and dignity.
November 2023
As I have cared for both my mother and father as well as helped with my uncle at one time, I have seen and experienced several different nursing home, rehab, and assisted living facilities. I would never go anywhere else than here again should I ever need such services and assistance in the future! The facility is just beautiful, you do not feel as though you're in a hospital type environment. Everyone is very friendly and kind, However 3rd shift here needs work, and better nurses and aids. If you call for someone in the evening anytime after 8 be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes. The rehab unit is where I was, so I can't speak to any other part of the facility, the physical therapist and occupational therapist are amazing so kind so helpful they go above and beyond! The food is average, but they are slow about getting food out to you and is often served cold, but not always. In general, this place is the best of the best I would recommend a Madonna Manor highly to anyone that needed to be in a nursing home or here for memory care we have or assisted living… they do amazing things here for everyone that lives in here, but Hass to stay in here. Many activities are offered for those who can participate. I just wanna say thank you to all the nurses and aids in the administration and doctors that were here also very kind. Still a patient, hoping to go home soon, Debbie Shaw

A long standing reputation in the community for delivery excellent care. I toured the current assisted living building while the additional two buildings were being constructed. The views are remarkable, with some overlooking the Ohio River. The campus is exquisite and the detail and cleanliness throughout all buildings and grounds is evident of the pride that is taken at Madonna Manor. Observing and engaging with staff in the healthcare unit it is obvious that the campus selects employees who are passionate about caring for others.

Beautiful grounds and wonderful amenities. Great place to live and work!

I visited Madonna Manor about 3 months ago to tour their new Brownstones and cannot wait to be a new resident there! The villas are just gorgeous, with lots of high-end finishes, a safe walking trail on campus, lots of activities for people my age to enjoy, and other features you simply can’t find to this degree elsewhere. I also like that they are faith-based, and the employees are all so friendly and very responsive. Thank you!!

I have been an employee of Madonna Manor for over 9 years as the Administrative Assistant. I love being an ear to our residents and their families. Madonna Manor offers great benefits to all employees and I enjoy being part of the team!

Cuz you meet lots of a lot of friends and I love you nurses and age and someone sexy so beautiful and I love to be with him and I hope they will be with me

All nursing homes have issues with staffing. I praise the people whom perform this work and care for our family members. It takes a special person to have the patience and understanding to work with senior citizens whom can no longer care for themselves. My mother has been at 3 nursing homes the past few years and I find Madonna Manor to be the best of the 3. The nurses and aids are polite and seam to genuinely care about their patients.
