My mother is 91 and a resident of Cedarhurst. The residence is quiet, smells great (always), and beautifully decorated. The hands-on staff is accommodating to her requests and her needs. Many of the staff take a moment to sit and have a short visit to help with loneliness and provide social interaction. They have many social activities for the residents to participate in if they are able. As a health care provider I am extremely comfortable with the care they are providing. The nursing management and supervisors make time to discuss her care and progress and are always available to discuss her needs. They encourage cameras in the rooms for our reassurance and this facilitates us interacting with her 24/7. Mom has settled in now and feels good about her surroundings. I cannot say enough positives about Cedarhurst. Go by and take a tour…you will be pleasantly shocked at what they can provide for your loved ones.

Because the car show was held at Cedarhurst, we decided to take a tour of the facility for our future needs. All of our Caribbean vacations have always been "all inclusive" because we like being pampered. That's the feeling we had at Cedarhurst. The individual apartments give you everything you everything you need as you downsize, including a small outdoor patio area. After we are no longer able to enjoy and maintain our farm we believe that Cedarhurst will be our next home. BTW, it goes without saying that the staff were welcoming, cheerful and helpful. Kudos!!!

Cedarhurst would be a wonderful place to live when the need arises. Whitney gave us a tour of the facility. I was really impressed with everything. Very clean and neat living quarters. Beautiful and spacious! Would highly recommend checking Cedarhurst out!

I follow this community on Facebook. I love all of the activities they provide, outings, activities there and inviting others in for events like craft fairs. This gives the residents something to look forward to and making items to sell as well. I have seen pictures of the food and happy hour and love it.

I would like to say a big thank you for the hospitality shown towards me today from Ms Whitney working at the front desk as I arrived. I was carrying my six month old granddaughter and needed to also assist my mother-in-law with getting from her room to my car. Whitney told me she would watch my granddaughter which helped me out immensely! Everyone that works there is always polite and helpful when I ask questions and I appreciate that! My mom Alyce lived at Cedarhurst for 2 years. She loved living there and made great friends. Up to her last breath and beyond the entire staff showed nothing but kindness and compassion to my mom and my entire family. Thank you to all of you!!!

My mother has been in Cedarhurst for over a year now and they have been great to her. She's been through a lot and they have been great about giving her the utmost attention. The facility is beautiful and doesn't have the institutional feel like a lot of Assisted living facilities have. She recently turned 80 years old, and they went above and beyond to help with her party we had.

My mother was very reluctant to move into assisted living, but once she had her apartment at cedarhurst she couldn't have been more thrilled. The staff is excellent, the residents are engaging, and the spaces are welcoming. With the help of the staff and Physical and Speech therapists her health immediately started improving. It was a great change.

In the 14 months my Mother-in-law has been at Cedarhurst, I don't think she could've received better care than she has at Cedarhurst. There were some bumps in the beginning with getting her pain meds ordered promptly, but one call to Logan to set up a meeting and discuss my frustrations, and it was much better. I would give it a five star rating, but the cost, especially the extra to give her meds daily, and then the price increase, just put the cost out of our price range, even after my husband took a higher paying job out of town in order to help pay the bill. I love the staff we have met over the past 14 months. They are always caring, always loving, and always kind, even when my MIL wasn't and even when I was upset over the pain medicines. I would still recommend Cedarhurst for others, despite the cost. It is a great environment with lots of activities for the residents and also for the guests to join in with their family member there. The activities director and maintenance guy are top-notch!!!

Mom has been here a bit more than a year. Facility is exceptionally nice and very well kept. The staff are very friendly to guests and caring toward residents. There were some problems early on with getting prescriptions refilled on time. The issue was taken seriously and changes put in place to correct it. The issue has not come up again in over 7 months. This is not meant as a negative but as a testimony to how serious they are about doing right for their residents. It is not the least expensive place you'll find, but you will get quality in commensurate to the cost.

This building is beautiful and well kept. The employee treat the residents amazing with love and care. The only negative is the Manager over house keeping. He doesn't have the right attitude or temper for that position. Great maintenance guy though.

Cedarhurst of West Plains is beautiful and well-kept. I have worked in two healthcare places, and Cedarhurst is the best by far in this town. The food is great. We treat the residents with love, care, respect, trust, and positivity. They are not just residents, Together we are family. highly recommend seeing this community.

I love working at cedar hurst they have best staff anyone could ask for. These people are kind, caring and most definitely empathetic!! Each and everyone one of them you can talk freely with about anything!! I’ve only been working here for 2 and a half months and it’s been the best work place I could ever ask for !!

We moved our Dad here a week ago and he really likes it. The facility is beautiful and so clean and the staff and other residents are so kind. Everyone has been so friendly and make a point to include Dad in everything. We feel so much better knowing he has excellent care, good meals and yet his own privacy and space.

I am very pleased with the care my Dad is getting at Cedarhurst of West Plains. The staff genuinely cares about the residents and they try to accommodate the individual interests of the residents. They have singing occasionally in the main gathering area that is wonderful to listen too. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for upscale assisted living.

We moved my mother-in-law into Cedarhurst in June. What a wonderful experience! She is struggling with her mobility and some memory issues and has been taken care of so well. We live over 700 miles away and feel so blessed to have the attentive staff looking after her. Communication is great. The activities are amazing and sound so fun. She is very active and is having a great time! We are very happy with the decision to move her into Cedarhurst.

Enrolled my mom on Monday, it’s been a week and she is loving it. Food has been delicious and she doesn’t have to eat on a schedule. They are great at sticking to her wishes. So far a great relationship!
