This facility is organized, clean, and very homey. My mom and dad are enrolled here and they tell me they have activities, three meals a day with a daily changing menu, nurses, and even a happy hour. The staff here is the BEST!!!!!! We had my mom at another Memory Care Unit which was more like a business and not like a home. Madison will become your second family. You will get to know who is taking care of your loved one because they take the time to get to know you. They listen! I really mean it! They listen to your family stories and needs and they continue those stories and needs just like you would. When you move a family member in to Madison, Madison treats it like your whole family is moving in. When you walk in for a visit, everyone checks in with you and gives you updates on your family member. You see, the employees love working there. The entire staff help each other out and just does not do their job, they do what needs to be done. The turnover is almost non existence (which says more than I could ever write), which means they know your love one personality, needs, moods, habits and abilities. That alone gives you a sense of security. The other wonderful event that happened when I moved my mom into the Memory Care Unit at Madison is she is ALWAYS clean, fresh clothes, hair brushed, lotion on face, things that sounds silly, but trust me, at the other place it was a constant battle. Please believe me, not all Memory Care Units are the same. Madison truly cares and treats your mom like it was their mom!!! A Big Shout Out to my new Extended Family: Kelly ~ the BEST Memory Care Coordinator. She is always there. She even came in on her day off just to check on my mom and sit with us during one of mom's down times. She listened to endless stories and fulfilled any and all requests we made of her to help mom feel like she was at home. Jami - Sales and Marketing Director - She gave me her cell number on day one. Honestly, after day one, I had a new friend. I can call or text her about anything and she is on top of it. She doesn't drop out of sight after the sale is made. David, Henry, Barbie ~ all management level and yes, I have all their cell phone numbers too. Henry even took my call while he was on vacation! Marge, Chris and Paige ~ they greet you as you walk in always with a smile and check in on you if you need anything to help make your visit the best. Peggy, Cathy, Martin, Cynthia, Linder, Bri, Sara, and many others~ The heart of this family. These people are angels! They do the daily one on one care and LOVE for your loved one, You could not find more caring, kind, giving souls. Placing a parent in a memory care unit is one of the hardest things you will ever do. When you are looking for a new home, stop and really look at the people. Madison is the place!!!! Clean, great food, lots of activities for both their residents and their family, safe but most of all a second family. Thank you all!!!!

I highly recommend Madison at Ocoee for the care of your loved ones. They treat you like family, refer to you by name and are willing to help with any needs you may have. The communication here is superb. I always know of upcoming events and activities taking place. They very transparent with the care they provide, the procedures they follow and are extremely accessible. I am able to ship supplies directly to the facility where they ensure that the items are put away correctly and ready for my mother to use. Every employee I have encountered is very personable and seems to genuinely enjoy their job. They are amazing! Whether it's the receptionist, food service, custodians, maintenance, administration, care takers, I have never had an unpleasant encounter. A special thanks to Cynthia, Martin, Kelly, Linder, Cathy, Peggy, Jamie and the all the others that have shown such love and compassion to our family.

We are very pleased with the facility and their staff at Madison At Ocoee. Our mother is very pleased to be located there in the memory care section. The staff treats her like they are family and she really enjoys the attention. The place is very clean and the food is amazing. For Easter they had a super celebration for the families including a bounce house, Easter egg hunt, face painting, balloon animals, spin art, egg decorating and sand art and lunch. They also played very nice music, We all had a ball and there was a great turnout from the families. If you are looking for a place for your loved one, you cannot go wrong placing them here,

Madison at Ocoee is a wonderful caring facility. The staff cares a great deal for all the residents! David Crown does a fabulous job and is always willing to address any cocerns i have! Durind the covid lookdowns he handled everything so professionally making it safe for all the residents! Chris Gerard does a tremendous job provproviding fun activities for any resident wanting to participate ! i highly recommend Madison at Ocoee!

My mom loves this place. She has been there since August. I chose this facility because of Ms. Jami Lu. She is not just a sales representative but someone who cares about people. She took a ton of time with me and ALL of my questions. Fast forward to present day, Ms. Lu is still the same and adds the personal touch that is missing in today's society. I also would like to compliment all the staff. I do not know all names but they all have been amazing and I appreciate the care and attention they have provided to my mom.

Our family appreciates the care and love that the staff at Madison give our mother. David Crown makes our mom and us feel special and that we are cared for. All of the technicians are caring and loving. My mom is especially close and loves Debra. Ruby also does a very good job making sure my mom’s needs are met. Chris Gerard goes out of her way to provide excellent activities for the residents. We appreciate every day that our mom is taken care of with such compassion and caring.

My mother has been here since June after coming from some extremely horrible facilities and I cannot begin to express my thanks and gratitude to the staff and everyone here. Jaime was the one I began with to get her in to this facility and she made everything so fast and smooth and took a huge burden off me. She will forever be in my heart for all the love she shows to the families, staff and residents!! Amber is who I normally talk to at night and she is also phenomenal! I would never think of anywhere else that could be better. My mom has done more than a 180 being here. 3 months ago she couldn’t even stand up on her own and now that they are working with her she is able to do things on her own and dress herself and stand up by herself and she has become the loving woman she used to be! THANK YOU MADISON AT OCOEE FOR ALL YOUR DEDICATION AND CARE!!

This is hard to write. I wanted to love this place. Our tour and first interactions with staff at the Madison were so positive. And then it came time to move my mom in. I should have known when they said they were closing for visitors due to COVID to not move her in there. But we did, and it was a huge mistake. My mom instantly became more confused than ever, and we were not able to help her through the adjustment. The nursing staff did not seem to know what they were talking about and at times contradicted themselves. We spent ALOT of money to find a place we were comfortable with, and this place did not deliver. She spent 5 nights there before we had to bring her back home for our sanity. With the money we spent, her stay cost us $1200/day. And she did not get bathed. Food was served in the rooms and cold. Due to her anxiety, she called on the bell for assistance a lot. The bell was then removed 'to make sure the battery was not run down' (this is what we were told) as 'she was using it all the time'. The thing that really blows my mind is we were truthful when we said our mother has memory concerns. The nursing assessment she had before she moved in was sort of brief and did not really delve into how much care she might have needed (even though we were specific on what we had been providing for her for the past several months). The first night, we were told by staff she needed more care than she was getting. Ok, then give it to her, we are paying you to do that. But they could not deliver. In some of the conversations we had with the staff, it seemed like they were blaming us and my mother for their lack of care. I am giving 3 stars for these reasons: 1. Had it not been for the lock down due to COVID, it may have been a much easier transition for my mother if we had been allowed to visit with her. We asked, but this was not granted. Not even on the porch wearing a mask. I think that this could have been allowed and this would be an entirely different review. 2. Compared to some of the other places we went to, this place seemed warm, friendly and inviting. 3. Amber, the technician who worked with our mother the most. She did try, within her scope, to make things better, and we appreciate this.

When I was born in 1953, twelve years behind my sister...ooops...and when my parents were too busy for me, my sister sacrificed a good piece of her childhood to take care of me. (She didnt even want another baby brother! But that's what she got!) And now when its time to make sure she gets the care she needs in her elder years, I feel wonderful about her being with the staff at Madison At Ocoee. Simply put, they are like family! I feel so fortunate to have found this place!

Great assisted living facility...checked out about 20 prior to this one and Orlando should be ashamed of the quality of standards that these facilities are allowed to function at...Brookdale was my first choice for my relative, though it wasn't attainable financially, so my second choice was chosen and has worked out fine...however; I pray often for the people in the other facilities that I visited in the Orlando area, may God have mercy...

Brookdale Ocoee is an assisted living residence that has provided my loved one with a true home-like atmosphere with skilled staff who are as caring and attentive as ones own family. I would highly recommend as a place for anyone requiring a home away from home and plenty of TLC.
