The staff and care givers are friendly and genuinely caring. The apartments are beautifully renovated and the shared spaces are equally as nice. My dad is happy there and I trust he is well cared for. It took me a long time to find an acceptable place for him. I didn't want a place that felt like an "old folks home". Ivy is cozy and inviting. In my search I made a point of not only talking to the staff but also the residents. Everyone was so happy and willing to talk to me. I just thought the condition and mind set of the people being cared for there is best reflection of the facility. Jennifer, Tierre, Ronnie and Armie will welcome your loved one with open arms. You will be equally impressed with the nursing staff and everyone who is there to care for there ever need.

When you are considering moving a relative into an assisted living community it’s important to be realistic about what they would feel comfortable in and this is why Ivy Park at Culver City is perfect for me. It’s not overwhelming, it’s very intimate, and also personal. I have met almost everyone here and feel good about walking up to anyone to chat. I am of the mindset that we are here and we are a family. That’s how I want to live and if I can help someone , I always feel welcomed to express my opinion and it’s just a great place. I am very happy that they maintain Ivy Park at Culver City in a way I would maintain my own home. I am proud of it and I want everyone else to feel proud as well. This community is very safe and secure. Besides the beautiful property, the administration staff is also very professional and welcoming.

I can only speak to the incredible treatment we received as we explored options for moving my mother from Pennsylvania to California. Every step of the way Jennifer and Tierre were open, honest, and supportive. They never pressured us, gave us a sales line, or pushed us to commit. Because Ivy Park is such a desirable place the rooms go fast. When it came time to make the decision of what to do, they were open and collaborative and helped us make a tough decision. Ivy Park in Culver City has been incredible for my mom. She’s been there for about 4 months now. I thought it would take her about 3 months to start actually acclimating to the new environment, participating in activities and eating with other people. No joke. She started on day 1. I have no idea how they got her going so quickly. The food is actually good here as well. This was a massive selling point.

My mother lived at Ivy Park for nearly three years until the end of her life last month. She first had an apartment in assisted living where she enjoyed the social swing and made many friendships. She was relatively independent at first, though she had some of the health and cognitive impacts you might expect when you are 86 years old. The care from the caregiving team was excellent and personal, and the med techs were on top of her medications and health. As she grew older and had some cognitive decline after two years she moved to Evergreen where she received more memory care support. The care was also very good at Evergreen, especially the med tech team who monitored my mother's health closely. Additionally, the caregivers were the right combination of sweetly caring and professional. They supported my mom very attentively as her health began to fail, and gave her friendship and eased her anxiety when she was confused. At the end hospice services were smoothly integrated and my mother was able to have a peaceful and pain-free ending thanks to the professional care she received from her friends at Ivy Park. The costs of this kind of specialized care can be high, and good care can be a burden for a family to pay for. For us, Ivy Park was the best balance of reasonable cost (but still painful) and quality care. They took good care of my mom.

I had been caring for my aged father for 6 years, which any of you who have done so know is not easy. I did my best to give him a good quality of life, however his dementia eventually became substantial enough that I had to find a place that could provide better care for him. With the help of a wonderful senior placement specialist I saw quite a few places and eventually decided on Ivy Park. It is a very nice clean facility, and I was happy with how their memory care was designed and managed, and also importantly it was close to home so we could visit easily and often. I put a deposit down and patiently waited. My father was placed in just a few months. Any great facility is going to be busy and full, right? Well, my guardedly hopeful and optimistic initial feelings were very soon reassured by how fantastically caring and dedicated I found the entire staff to be. Each and every person who I came across was so warm and hard working. Occasionally some issues would arise from my father's dementia that were not easy, but they always managed with grace and kindness. They were clearly very experienced in this kind of care, but more importantly they truly were caring, not just doing a job. I am so happy to have found them and have no hesitation to recommend them to anyone looking to find a nice place for their aging parents to live.

My wife moved into the memory care section of Ivy Park in June 2022. She's the youngest resident there and physically capable and active, unlike many of the older residents. She also has attention deficit disorder which means she requires more stimulation. The Executive Director, Brittney Buchannan, and the Memory Care Director, Larianna Logan, have each brought my wife to their offices and given her papers to shuffle while they're working, because she loves to organize. They had her participate in baking cookies. They've even added a vanity in one of the alcoves, a bassinet and doll in another, and a small desk and old style typewriter with coat rack and briefcase in another, for all of the residents. They decorate the place for holidays and seasons which gives a home-like feeling. The dining rooms are decked out for holiday meals. They often have live music and chef tastings for the residents and families. I came in once and found a harpist playing in the courtyard while dessert was being served. When my wife moved in, I made a point of making sure that the various Directors and care staff all knew me. I befriended them all and I visit several times per week. I believe that on a subconscious level, the staff will take even better care of your loved one if they know that the family cares. I've seen a lot of caregiver turnover, but that's because as Brittney once said, it's not a place to work if you're just looking for a paycheck, you have to have a passion for the work. I believe she's always looking for the best she can find. I'm very grateful that I found Ivy Park for my wife. I think the staff is very loving and caring.

We just recently toured with Tamara in memory care and the executive director Brittany in AL. We were very very pleased and didn’t hesitate to leave the community fee to secure the unit for our dad. The community as a whole is absolutely gorgeous and we as a family stand hard behind our decision. From the residents giving us their feedback to the staff hand on showing us their passion for each and every resident throughout the community. Brittany introduced us to other families who made us feel like our overall decision was the best! We will be moving our dad in next week and we are looking forward to being apart of the Ivy park at Culver City family!

Wonderful staff, the management team is very understanding, the residents have a wide selection of food and drink choices and the menu changes daily. Each resident gets a nice room and a selection of different daily activities. Overall a wonderful facility.

My husband and I are very happy with Ivy Park at Culver City! The ED, Britney, gave us an AMAZING tour (after hours) and we made sure to put all the pieces together with her right away. She was so attentive and made sure the move was comfortable for all of us! Her and the nurse came the next day to assessment my mother. Everything they said they will do was DONE! We highly recommend this community.

As a heath care provider myself, I was very impressed with my tour of the facility. The area is developing, but the facility itself is a gem. If you’re look for the most bang for your buck, I would recommend sunrise. Unfortunately my aunt was not an appropriate fit for the community due to her needing skilled care, however I was taken back by the warmth of the general manager who assisted me in finding alternative resources for my aunt. Although I was unable to place my aunt here, it was evident the facility is well managed and residents are taken care of.

Sun Rise is a place where I will feel comfortable to let my family or suggest to my friends' families to live at. I am currently a student who is studying aging management, and I had an opportunity to visit Sun Rise. My first impression is this place does not look like a senior facility. Instead, this facility is very well taken care of and it felt like home. The entrance is very welcoming. It is a place that I would want to live in. They also have great service operation. During my visit many of staffs that saw me on a tour greeted me, and welcomed me. Additionally, the staff that took me around was able to identify all residence by their first name. Having caring staffs is definitely one of the things I will be looking for when seeking a facility for my elderlies. One of the residences also spoke with me during my tour and told me how nice this facility is. It is my pleasure to rate them 5/5.

I can't say enough good things about Sunrise Villa Culver City. The new ED is already making a ton of great changes, and is providing great customer service to residents and families. My grandmother is very happy there and I'm thankful to the amazing team for all they do.

All the details are like a home not a hotel which is very important for aged people. The staffs there are nice and dynamic. I like the architecture and interiors design very much.

My Dad has lived here for almost three years and is incredibly happy here. The staff is wonderful. We've become friends with many other residents as well as their families. The facility feels more like a boutique hotel. I am so glad we hung in there through the challenges for the year that it was owned by Vintage. Sunrise is quickly enhancing what was already a great place. I love knowing that Dad is so well cared for. I highly recommend it.
