I always think it’s a good sign when a company has happy and friendly staff, this place does. We love the staff and the Director. They know how to have fun and they care. There are some cosmetic improvements needed here and there, but 5 stars nevertheless. My father is happy, that’s evident!

American House offers a family feel in their community, and their team is very dedicated. Some caregivers have been there almost 20 years, which says a lot! If you are looking for yourself, a friend, or a family member ask for Anna and she will take good care of you throughout the move in process. She is outstanding.

Our recent visit to American House was warm and inviting. Anna, the Community Relations Director, was knowledgeable and caring. She exemplifies the level of care and empathy that promotes positivity within the community residents she serves. We were introduced to Barry the Executive Director, who was very personable and approachable. Everyone from the Kitchen staff, housekeeping, were professional, and conveyed a personal sense of pride for each of their residents. I would without reservation recommend American House to any family looking for a place for their loved ones. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence are clearly reflected in this facility

Elmcroft is one of the nicer assisted living facilities, but unfortunately it has some of the same problems all assisted living facilities seem to have. They tend to be understaffed (especially at night) and communication (or lack of) with the residents during important events (the loss of water for hours, etc) is more reminiscent of the way people would treat children than you would treat actual "residents". Some of the care workers are amazing though and the facility itself doesn't have the depressing atmosphere many others do. Just stay on top of things. Seriously. Medications, maintenance, everything. You cannot assume mistakes are not happening.

To whom it may concern, My wife, Joyce James and I are residents at Elmcroft of Brentwood. She moved in August 8, 2017. She seemed content here and we both really enjoy the food. I have been impressed by the environment of the Executive Director, Jenna Alley, and her hands on management. She encourages the staff and mingles with the residents. Her latest project of the beautification of the entire grounds, new flowers, mulch, trimming shrubbery, and general clean up of the landscape has been wonderful. This gives everyone a sense of pride in living and working here. We are pleased that we chose Elmcroft for our new home. Sincerely, Jack James

I've lived here September 2018. The residents are very nice along with the staff. The food is fair. I really enjoy the games and crafts. I also enjoy going out on the bus out in the community on various activities.

My mom has lived here for 3 years. The process of moving her in and the people I worked with was the best. I have been listened to unconditionally and as often as I needed. The staff here has been wonderful and accommodating. My mom has been respected and treated with kindness and her needs have been met. As her physical health has begun to decline, the management team has provided me with the necessary resources to continue to meet her needs.
