My family spent a long time looking for an assisted living for my grandfather. Our top concern was finding a place that would really feel like home for him. When we called Mt Arlington after looking at numerous communities, the warm welcome we received brought us a sense of peace. The sales director truly made us feel like we mattered and he had our best interest in mind. When we took a tour of the community and saw how happy and well taken care of the residents were we felt a sense of confidence that my grandfather would be in good hands. The Executive Director was extremely warm and welcoming and asked questions to get to know what was important to us in finding the right community. The staff was extremely friendly and almost everyone took time out to say hello. The director of nursing Karen has always been extremely responsive and keeps my family updated with any changes. The rooms are spacious and very clean and there was no odor in which we had experienced in other places. We are so happy and thankful we chose Mt Arlington and would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to move a loved one. The whole family wished we chose Mt Arlington sooner as my grandfather is thriving in his new "home" and has made so many new friends.

It is a true pleasure and a pure delight to be working with John Caldero on the transition move for my 87 year old Uncle from Oregon to New Jersey and thank my lucky stars. From the moment that we scheduled the tour and to this very day he has been very attentive to all our needs and extemely kind and compassionate with all our challenges. There was not one room available but he was honest and kept us well informed during the entire waitlist period. He is a true profesional with a genuine kind soul which is rare to find these days and I am very confident that we have made the right choice in selecting your facility for my Uncle. We clearly had a choice and had visited many assisted ling venues in the area but John is the only reason that we decided to place my Uncle at your wonderful facility. I was desperate and had to make a decision fast for my sister. I meet with John and Rich and they made my decision very easy!!! John was amazing with me and never hesitated to take my calls with a million questions. The staff is by far the best I have seen, very helpful and so caring about their residents. The process was stress free and made us feel like we are part of a family. My sister loves living here and it has made all the difference in her life. The nursing staff has her on a strict medication regimen and she feels so much better. She hasn’t looked this good in years. Big thank you again to John and Rich for making this decision so easy and pain free!!! So lucky to have such an amazing facility so close to home and so trustworthy.

I have been a resident of Mt. Arlington Senior Living for almost 2 years. I enjoy the food, activities and companionship in a family-like atmosphere. All of the staff is friendly, very helpful and willing to go above and beyond to assist you whenever you need it. Having physical therapy in-house is a blessing. They get me up and keep me moving! Although things have slowed down during the COVID pandemic, I have always felt safe and secure. I know the staff is following the proper guidelines and taking all the necessary precautions to keep us healthy. It really is a great place to live!

Choosing Mr. Arlington Senior Center for our Dad to live was the best decision that we could have made for him and our family. He has been living there for almost two years and has been well taken care of. He enjoys the company of the other residents and likes every single person that assists and works with him. Hes happy there and that was one of our main concerns. My husband always remarks that as far as hes concerned, there is no safer place that my Dad could be during this horrible Covid 19 pandemic. They have taken every precaution available to keep the residents safe. I recommend this residence to everyone that I know. Thank you for all you do for our Dad. I sleep better at night knowing that he is in your care.

My Name is Bob Tominovich I have been living at Mt. Arlington Senior Living for the past year and four months. Prior to the pandemic I really enjoyed , the people treat us very well and take care of us very well. I am very fortunate to be on the independent ones as in I take care of myself. When the pandemic hit the place became very restricted but in my opinion this saved a lot of us. We dont like what is going on but we like the way the staff is taking care of us and actually protect us.

Mount Arlington Senior Living is a loving and welcoming community with Great staff. John, the marketing manager is so nice to work with and always welcome me with a cheerful smile. Jennifer the nurse is also very nice and welcoming. Helping with testing and providing extra care to her patients. They love her so much and speaks highly of her good work. The staff really receive me nicely whenever I visit to test for COVID 19. Mrs. Joanne, Mrs Cathy, Mrs. Beth, Dennise and all the staff are simply amazing. I must say its one excellent community I have been to. Keep up the good work!! God bless you all.

Mount Arlington Senior Living is a welcoming community with a wonderful caring staff! I would like to highlight how amazing they have done with Covid-19 and making sure all residents and staff members are safe. I have worked closely as a home care agency rep with both the director of nursing and the wellness nurse and can honestly say they put the health and safety of their residents as top priority. Furthermore, the therapy department ON SITE works with the residents individually to reduce fall risk, increase stability and safety and tailors each therapy program to the needs of each resident. If you are looking for a community for a loved one this is the place! **Bonus- the food is top notch!

As a visiting nurse who worked at Mount Arlington Senior Living during Covid, I can honestly say that they have done a wonderful job dealing with it. They have dedicated so much time and extra work to keep their residents occupied during their extended stay in quarantine. If you are looking for a safe and welcoming place for your family member, I would definitely recommend it.

As a first responder, Ive also seen how well theyve handled the Covid pandemic and continued to provide great care to residents despite the hurdles all healthcare workers were up against.

I am a nurse who has worked with patients at Mount Arlington Senior Living for 3 years. My experience has been very positive, and working with the nurses in this building has been a pleasure. I feel that my patients are receiving the care that I would want for my own family members. The relationship between the staff and the patients is like that of a family. The facility is clean and home-like and the rooms have everything that a senior would need. The dining hall is wonderful and the residents really enjoy the socializing during their meals. I would highly recommend this assisted living facility to anyone that is looking for a safe and comfortable home for their senior.

My Dad, Walter, has been a resident of Mt. Arlington Senior Living for a year and a half. In that time, he has always been happy and very well cared for. When the COVID-19 health crisis began, we were very concerned for his well-being due to his age (95). The staff at Mt. Arlington has done a wonderful job of keeping the families informed with the latest information and, most of all, taking all the necessary precautions and following the proper guidelines to keep the residents healthy and safe. I am forever grateful to all of the Mt. Arlington Senior Living staff members for the extraordinary work they do every day! They are truly healthcare heroes!! With a warm, welcoming atmosphere and wonderful people, its a great place to call home!

I am a nurse from Hospice with several patients in the building . I have worked in this building for many years. I highly recommend Mount Arlington senior living to anyone Who needs a safe comfortable and happy place to send their love one.The staff is amazing, they actually know each and every resident in this building the DON is a hands-on nurse who is involved with the care of every patient in this building. She is readily available to meet with patients and families .One of the things that I find most important is that unlike many other assisted-livings there is a nurse in this building overnight which of course is very important when you have elderly patients.There are a multitude of activities and programs for the residents to be involved in it is very home like atmosphere and I would recommend it to anyone.

My mom lived at Mt Arlington for over 8 years and we credit her longevity to the care and concern shown to her by the whole staff. She was always greeted by her name with a smile. When they held activities where family could come and eat with the residents, the chef named Fernando always said that he kept an eye on mom to make sure she was eating well. Mom was saved from choking one time by a staff nurse. Denise along with other staff conveyed their sympathy when we did a final clean out of moms room. I dont think there could have been any other facility that could have better met our expectations. Mom always called Mt Arlington HOME and it was really a fine home.

My father in-law moved into Mount Arlington Senior Living a few weeks ago. This is a great place! All the staff are wonderful and caring. It is kept very clean. The food they serve is delicious and nutritious. He enjoys all the entertainment and activities that they have. I encourage anyone who is looking for an assisted living for a loved one to schedule a tour!! 5 STARS!!!

My dad moved into this facility three years ago because he could no longer live independently. We interviewed at several facilities and it was his choice to move here. When asked why, he replied that this facility felt like a home and the people who worked there seemed more like family and less like business people. It has turned out that his instincts were correct. He is very comfortable in what he refers to as his apartment. The staff in every department could not be more compassionate, caring, and helpful. They take wonderful care of him in every way. He has made friends of all of them. He knows they have his back and feels very safe. There are numerous trips and many social activities for him to enjoy. The chef will even make him his favorite foods even if they are not on the regular menu. As a family, we could not be more pleased with Mt. Arlington Senior Living.

We had my 86-year-old mother stay here while my husband and I took a short vacation. She absolutely loved it! The staff is wonderful -- you can tell they truly love taking care of people. There are a variety of activities every day, so she was never bored. The food is plentiful, healthy, and cooked just right. The rooms are comfortable and have individual temperature controls. The full-time residents all seem very happy to be there too.If you are looking for respite care, plan well in advance. The minimum stay is two weeks. The potential resident will need to visit their doctor for medical clearance and a TB test, and you will have to get all of his, her medications (even OTC) packaged by a pharmacy. Then theres a visit for an evaluation by their own nurse, and a stack of forms to fill out. So its not as fast or easy as checking into a hotel; but well worth the trouble. We had absolutely no worries while we were away because we knew mom was in excellent hands!
