We moved our parents into Viewpointe this week and are so pleased with the compassionate, knowledgeable staff and the excellent food! The dining room manager Steve has been especially wonderful with my dad and his "double speak". He can figure out what my parents need and want better than any of us! He is awesome! My stress level has gone down significantly watching the caretakers interact with my parents.

We thought this would be a perfect fit - turns out that the head staff are quite incompetent. We made two appts - the first one they never responded - the second one they never responded - never returned our numerous voicemails we left - couldn’t give us any information on availability of rooms but just kept wanting us to put money down to get on a waiting list that no one new any info about. Awful experience.

I’m anticipating another 5 Star review a year, but for now I’m going to give a shout out to the team at ViewPointe for working so hard, being so compassionate, being so caring, and extremely patient on the move of my mom to their apartments this past week. We started the journey in June and after looking at several great places in town, we felt called to this place. You just knew from the first meeting and tour it was the right place from the first phone visit I had with Cindy the marketing director. I’ve spent A LOT of time observing the interaction with ALL the staff and the residents past few months. I’ve seen nothing but residents treated with love, caring, kindness, patience and respect. My mom has lived in the same small town over 50 years and this has been a BIG change for her, but she has enjoyed conversations and attention and kindness from every resident and team member she has encountered. The folks at ViewPointe have been extremely kind to me, patient with me and have answered my 100+ questions. In addition their recommendations and support and education have been helpful to me. They know it is overwhelming on the family too! Thanks to the whole team, Cindy, Eve, Victoria, Phil, Peggy, and those whose names I’m not able to remember yet. Also, thanks to the other residents who have been great support for my mom at ViewPointe.

We recently moved my 83 yo mother into ViewPointe after an unexpected emergency and significant change in life situation. Everyone at ViewPointe has worked hard and cooperatively to make sure my mom - and us - have a good experience with this big transition from the very beginning. Eve Ilten (Executive Director) and Cindy Perez (Director of Sales), in particular, have been wonderful. Cindy worked diligently and at all hours of the day and night to facilitated= an extremely tight time frame while educating and supporting us as caregivers. Eve made us feel welcome from first moment. I have had a chance to meet numerous residents and team members - all of them have been a positive experience and really reflect the culture and leadership at ViewPointe. Everyone from maintenance to health aids to the Director have been kind and supportive and actively present for us.

We were so nervous to make the move, but the wonderful staff helped us with a smooth transition. The place is clean and customer service oriented. Viewpointe has been a fantastic experience for our family so far. It was a very difficult decision to make but I would recommend Viewpointe without hesitation. The staff is always friendly and helpful and most importantly it is obvious that the residents are well cared for and respected. Unlike other homes we visited, Viewpointe's residents appeared active and engaged. There are always smiling, attentive residents sitting in the common areas and they all seemed happy with their homes. I visit often and the facility is always clean and welcoming. My father has lived at Viewpointe almost two years and he is happy with our selection. He always tells me he is very comfortable with his home. Although this is a very difficult time in our lives we are overall pleased and grateful for the support and relief we feel knowing that our father is in a comfortable, safe place.

Looked at several places for my parents and this one came highly recommended. The residents living here all look happy like they really like being here. Lots of activities and movement going on. ViewPoint’s staff also seem to enjoy working here. So far our experience has been exceptional! Our parents had joy on their faces and relief! This was absolutely the best thing we could have done for my 95-year-old mother. We moved her from living by herself, independently, in Virginia to be closer to us. We looked in the Colorado Springs area for 4 months and this place was absolutely, hands down, the best place we visited. The staff, from the kitchen help, to the front desk, to the director Nursing care, Housekeeping are all fabulous. They know everyone's names address them, talk with them. This place is modern, clean, open with a view Pikes Peak and awesome. Highly recommend it. They also accept PACE.

Do NOT believe the previous reviews of ViewPointe. Although it may have been in the past, it no longer is a caring place. The head nurse has no concern for residents but is simply "running it like a business" which has caused several care givers to leave. They do not have adequate staff for assisted living and will try to force your loved one into memory care if they need any assistance. I gave 2 stars only because they do have good food, activities and provide a pleasant experience for those not needing any assistance.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Cindy, and came to know her as a truly valuable asset while trying to help me and my father. She is honest, dependable, and incredibly hardworking. Beyond that, she an impressive director who is able to get results. Along with her undeniable talent, Cindy has always been an absolute joy to work with. After 8 months from our tour, she still was able to remember me, right down to the watch I was wearing and asked about my father and his condition. The facility is an absolute great place to live especially with all the renovations and the other residents are very welcoming! My grandma loves it here! The workers are very caring and are always eager to help her! The only down side which is why I gave it 3 stars is that one of the workers is going around and stealing from the residents. So far my grandma has gotten money stolen from twice. I recommend getting safes for all valuable items. Otherwise else it’s amazing!

As a daughter helping my parents transition to assisted living, my experience with Viewpointe could not have been better. From the start, our tour with Cindy Perez was absolutely wonderful and she was the only sales director of all the facilities we toured who never once engaged in even subtle pressure tactics. When we looked at the first unit the question to my mom was, "Which view do you prefer, the city or the mountains?", while the other facilities informed us that any rooms with a view would require putting our names on a waitlist. The units at Viewpoint are the largest we saw with full kitchens and amazing decks, and the facility itself is tucked away from traffic with a beautifully maintained landscape and delightful walking paths. The fact that Viewpointe was also the best bargain of all the facilities we saw was a HUGE bonus. By far the most important aspect of my parents decision to choose Viewpointe was the community. It was the only facility we toured that felt like a genuine organic community. There was truly nothing artificial of the way the facility was designed and how the residents interact with one another. The apartment my parents picked feels like an apartment they would have chosen when they were first starting their lives together. Even under the best of circumstances the process of transitioning to assisted living is extremely stressful. I have personally been so grateful for the help that Cindy Perez and director, Robyn Parker have extended to me, and the care and attention they have both shown my parents. When I leave town and return to my home in Iowa, I am comforted knowing that my parents are surrounded by a community of people who truly care for them. That feeling is priceless.

My mother has been at ViewPointe for just a few weeks, and is loving it there. Every single staff member is so patient and kind, with not only her, but the whole family. They are amazing, especially Robin and Cindy. From being a lonely widow that wouldn't leave her house to having friends, eatting healthy, going on rides, participating in activities. If you have ANY reservation about ViewPointe and their staff caring for your loved one, rest assured you won't find a better place or a better staff. My mom was a resident there since October 2019. She was 89 years young but suffering from Dementia. I spent several weeks visiting assisted care facilities and after a couple meetings with Elisa and Robyn, I felt mom would be in the best hands there. I can't say enough about the staff. My thanks go out to all. Especially Suzy, Chantel, Connie, Angel just to name a few that spent so much time with mom. Even though Robyn had a tremendous schedule she would spend what precious time she had with mom. Robyn is VERY dedicated to the welfare of her residents. It didn't matter what time day, evening or what day of the week, Robyn was there. Sometimes I wondered if she lived at the facility. The COVID pandemic was truly a shock for mom. She had no idea what was going on and couldn't comprehend why we all stopped visiting. With her Dementia getting worse, any conversation on the phone was a challenge. This is where the staff kicked into high gear with their love and caring for mom. I would get emails, texts with photos, links to videos and updates from Robyn and Elisa. The daily staff called me while with mom to assure me of her well being. Mom was confused but happy. She loved the dining room, food and staff that waited on her during meals. I can attest to the great food there, as I often dined with mom prior to COVID. Ice cream was ALWAYS there and it's a home run. From what I've noticed, seniors love their ice cream! Mom sure did!! Again, THANK YOU ALL for all the love and care given to mom. I also want to thank all the residents who expressed their thoughts, prayers and condolences. She is truly missed. Squibb Family

My 90 year old friend Eileen is living for the past 2 years here and she is as happy as you can be. The staff is very nice, always helpful and as of today they had NO covid-19 cases. They locked down the place early on to protect all their elderlies. When I call to drop off items for my friend within 30 seconds someone comes out with a facemask and takes it. Thank you to all the staff - YOU ARE TRULY HEROES!!!

So my mom lives at VP. They have done a very good job during the Covid-19 pandemic of keeping everyone there safe. They were quick to implement visitor restrictions and routine temperature screening. Although it has been difficult not to have Grandma over, even our kids do recognize that the quick, decisive actions of the VP leadership has prevented the virus from entering the community. They have also done a good job at keeping the residents engaged and in social activities inside the building. My personal experience here at View Point has been wonderful. The staff has welcomed me and has made me feel part of the team. The employees truly care for the residents and treat them like family. They offer such great activities which most the residents participate. It’s great to see residents enjoying there self and to see the staff go the extra mile for the residents. We are researching Independent Living facilities. Elisa Santos gave us a tour of ViewPointe and described the services and activities available. We saw a two-bedroom apartment (2 baths with a Jack-and-Jill shower; 900 sq. ft.). Definite pros: garages, storage units, carports, available for a fee. The facility is a renovated apartment complex (built in the 1980s). Laundry facilities are shared, not in the apartments.
