Shortly after Thanksgiving 2022, my 91 year old mother took a fall in her apartment and ended up in Logan Health ER. Nothing was broken and she was released to return home? As her only living son and having been given the title of "primary care provider", it was up to me and my wife to provide care and keep her safe! Not too much to ask? We just happen to live on the opposite side of Kalispell and it wasn't an option to move her in with us! So we drove across town morning , noon and night? A little inconvenient, but it seemed to be working! A few days before Christmas we received word of a death in the family down in Utah! Merry Christmas! We needed to attend the service, but there was no way I could leave my mother alone for any length of time, let alone leave the state! Our friends who could have filled in, had all left the country in search of warmer temperatures.........good luck with your mom, see you in the spring! I frantically began searching for "a place for mom". I called all the care providers you'll find on "the list", started reviewing my notes for assisted living facilities in the Kalispell area. Mom and I had looked at several facilities over the years, but she wasn't ready and wasn't ever going to be ready! I get it! I asked her if the situation ever arose and she had to pick one, which one would she pick? She liked the Prestige and had several friends who had moved there over the years! Little did mom know, but the time had come! I made one call to the Prestige, spoke to administrator, and the rest is history! In two really long days, completing an application, figuring out finances, doctor visits, obtaining medical records, approvals for medications prescribed and over-the-counter, an onsite evaluation by the Prestige Team and a last minute memory evaluation by her doctor, mom was approved for a 14 day Respite Stay! This would give mom an opportunity to experience what assisted living is all about, give the Prestige an opportunity to see if mom was a good fit for them and evaluation of the actual level of care she would need! Best of all I didn't have to fight with her about leaving her apartment! She packed her clothes and went peacefully to the Prestige, knowing it was short-term! When we arrived she was greeted at the front door and welcomed with open arms by the administration, medical staff, and care providers. We moved her belongings to her 1 bedroom apartment with a fresh coat of paint, spotless, bright, sunny and warm! Complete with a kitchen, including sink, microwave and refrigerator, fully private bathroom, living/TV area and separate bedroom. Since it was a short duration stay, we opted to utilize the furnishings provided by the Prestige. We made it to Utah and back, her 14 days at the "heartbreak hotel", as mom called it, came and went! A wonderful experience! The assistance and care she received was exceptional! Staff personnel were very caring and compassionate. They truly cared about their residents and you could tell they enjoyed their jobs! Always cheerful and smiling with only kind words to share about mom! As it turns out, moms needs exceeded assisted living capabilities and she was in need of full-time care! I am forever grateful for the assistance the Prestige was able to provide at this challenging time of LIFE! The Prestige was the perfect place for my mom! Thanks!

What a high quality care facility! Great staff, lovely building. I appreciate how seriously they are taking covid to protect our aging population. They really genuinely care for their residents and often treat them more like family. All around an amazing place to have our families at! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a facility for their family members!

Prestige, Expressions Senior Living was the place we chose for its warmth, compassion, understanding and empathy—the foundation of dignity. The staff at both the assisted care and the memory care side are truly sensational. They are capable, caring and conscientious. They have a sense of humor with the residents, families and each other. The residents love them. The patience they have is more than any other profession I have seen, even medical. My husbands multiple diseases took him while at Expressions. I could not have made it through if it wasnt for the staff. As he headed downhill, they had more difficult care and each of them rose to the many situations with tenderness and gentleness for both of us. This is the place you want your loved one to live and a place for yourselves. It will give you a sense of security and relief. The rent and level of care fees are some of the most reasonable in the valley. Just talk with the administration people: Patty, Kristen, Pat, Cassie, Lauri, Mike and April and feel the difference they will make as you settle in. Visit for a while and see how exceptional, fun and professional the staff is. This was our place — make it your place.

My mother spent the last two years of her life with her new family at Prestige Assisted Living after her dementia became too difficult to manage at home. The staff and quality of care was truly remarkable. From dancing her to dinner (she didnt like to eat but loved to dance) to the tears shed the night she died; the people at Prestige treated my mom like she was their own. Excellent quality of care!

My 92 year old mother lived alone for many years and was very resistant to moving to assisted living. Due to health issues, she moved to Prestige. It was the best thing we could have done. Mom is so much happier. She has a lovely new apartment, which is very clean and updated. She gets three nutritious meals each day in the dining room, where she socializes with new friends. There are activities scheduled every day in which she can participate. We have experienced the staff to be kind and compassionate. Great move!!

My sister is an employee of Prestige and I came to visit over Thanksgiving. They day after Thanksgiving I helped get some Christmas decorations out and decorate the lobby and dining area. I was so impressed with everything I witnessed. I can truthfully say the residents I encountered seemed happy and engaged with all of the staff members who reciprocated their interactions with friendliness and warmth. It is clearly obvious these employees have a passion for their work. Employees remember the residents names as well as their family members and make it their mission to learn more about the residents. They recently had a large birthday party for three residents who celebrated their 101th birthdays. I wish that I could be their for more of their celebrations. Who else gets to attend prom at an Assisted Living Facility? The employees welcome feedback and genuinely want to make their facility the best around. There is no doubt in my mind that when the time comes, I will encourage my grandmother to select this facility. Shes been there also. She would choose it too 🙂

I chose Prestige above 5 other facilities I reviewed in the surrounding area (65 mile radius)for my mother. I was impressed by the warmth and friendliness of the person doing the orientation and have continued now for two years to appreciate the caring, loving staff at Prestige in Kalispell. The facility is clean, warm, and accessible to all. The opportunity for interaction between neighbors adds to the environment for the tenants. The nursing staff is in communication with me whenever there is any concern (I wish the PA who visits was as good about that).The facility, the staff, admin, and the costs are all plusses to me.

I spent two years planning for the time my father would have to go to a care facility and when I found Prestige Assisted Living I knew in my heart we found the right place. It was clean and comfortable and the residents were happy. He lived his last years being cared for by the Prestige Family. They worked so hard to accommodate for his needs and to help us deal with our emotional ups and downs of the last year of his life. To say they went the extra mile is an understatement of their generosity. I will never be able to thank them enough for the love and kindness and quality of care they gave to my Dad. Thank you for all you do. I miss my Dad but without your help I would not have had that last year with him.

I have worked in a number of communities, and have seen many different styles of how business is done.
