Battery powered wheelchairs and scooters are not allowed on the Sodalis bus outings. Not even if the person using them is sitting in a bus seat. Sodalis's executives' reasoning seems to be that the vehicles are capable of turning themselves on and running amok. So be careful out there. Those battery powered rental scooters and parked car may start turning themselves on and wildly running into you. Just saying..........

I just wanted to leave a comment in regards to the new young man Tony they have at the desk out front. Everytime I visit or talk to my grandmother I always get an earful about how handsome and kind he is. Honestly I don't believe they have ever had someone as great as him! He is always super professional and seems to have really whipped that place into shape. Whatever yall pay him it isn't enough!

Amazing place! My dad has been there for almost 5 years and the service is excellent! I am so happy he is taken care of. He is almost 93 and lives it there.

There is no harder task than finding the right place for your love one. Fortunately visiting Sodalis Austin made our task easier, the best way to describe this facility, it is so different from the places we seen before. It look like a comfortable and beautiful home from long ago which is reassuring to the residents. We can't say enough about the wonderful staff members they are very kind and loving they take remarkable care of the residents, Mrs. Batiste is Awesome she displays compassion and concern for the residents. ( very heartwarming). This facility has the passion for providing the best possible care for your love one.

My husband was there only about 14 days and fell 3 times and it was quite awhile before anyone found him. The last fall he had a head injury and was in the hospital and now in Skilled Nursing center. The second fall he was in Rehab for 31/2 weeks. They also did not offer any refund. Very nice place but need some more help.

Elmcroft offers respite care and my Mother stayed there about two years ago while recovering from surgery due to a broken leg. She was wheelchair bound following surgery and was able to receive regular home health visits and outpatient physical therapy while recovering there. The staff was always at hand to help her with bathing and personal care. The residents there seemed quite happy and the staff was friendly and attentive. The facility was always clean. They had planned social events and entertainment that both my parents enjoyed as my father visited daily. I appreciated the 24 hour security. The patient care staff as well as the administrative staff were easy to contact for any issues or concerns.

I visit a resident here 5 days a week at meal time. residences are above average and public areas are pleasant. there have been occasions where things have gone missing. my biggest complaint is the food served here. I have seen over 60 meals and not one of them has looked appetizing. there is also an ongoing issue with a food allergy that is always overlooked. staff never seems to know what the food is and generally tell the resident its safe to eat when I know its not. the only ‘fresh food available is salad - veggies are canned or frozen and terribly over cooked. the sign advertising farm fresh is a joke. residents tell me they have complained with no change. staff seems disconnected from the menu and generally have no idea what the food is by looking at it. theres a red flag for you.
