My mom has lived at Summit Place for 7 years. They recently brought in a new director who has greatly improved the management and overall atmosphere of the facility. The aides & med techs provide very good care for residents. There is also a new director of nursing who seems very capable. The delivery of activities has improved too. The director and employees are all approachable with any concerns or suggestions.

Mom recently moved to Summit Place, celebrating her 96th birthday in the private dining room with balloons, flowers, friends, and family. Thanks to the entire staff for helping to make her transition - from independent living just a few weeks ago, to monitored care that has given us a welcomed breath of relief. Special recognition to Rebekah Kennan for her warm heart that shines through every detail. We live two states away, but she has provided a personal connection for us and Mom from our first phone inquiry, tour of the facility, visits with Mom, and ongoing updates that provide valuable insight into Mom's daily life. What a relief to have such an advocate! At the time of our search, only one room in all of what Mooresville's assisted living community had to offer (Mom's home town of choice when faced with the reality that she needed 24/7 care), Rebekah went above and beyond to help us secure Mom's new home. We are very grateful.

My Dad has recently moved to the Summit, and I want to thank the staff for helping us with this move. Rebecca started the process by going above and beyond on a Friday afternoon to call me back after hours might I add, she set up a visit with other staff for Saturday and Monday we were closing the deal to move in. Since the move she has been more than available to me for my every need and question Rebecca you have made this experience a true blessing. You can tell you love your job and for that I am grateful. Shelia has been a wonderful part of this move also, she has compassion for the residents and it shows. Jade and Frances you two have been my Dad's rock ,these two young ladies deserve an award for their true love for their job, and Dylan and Amber thank you for all your dedication towards getting my dad's needs meet. The simple stopping into his room just to ask him how he is doing because all of these people are aware of the difficult time he is having means more to me than you will ever know. Today was a Valentine party and lunch. Started with a sing a long and familiar songs led by a sweet lady who played guitar and piano and sang. Followed by a meet the staff and health care options. Very caring staff with a good attitude. Mom is still adjusting and they make her feel included and welcome. Nice to have someone watching out for her and making sure she’s safe.

Summit Place Mooresville is clean and doesn’t have a smell. It is a wonderful atmosphere and I will always recommend bringing your loved ones here the car is awesome. The staff is awesome and the residence are never bored always doing activities and keeping them busy

My grandmother was at Summit for 6 months. The staff there was kind, professional and friendly but there were days when staff was scarce so care was not optimal. Administration didn’t seem to care that residents were being slighted in the care they needed.

I honestly come to see my stepmom there. She’s so sweet and a loner. I can’t say much about activities as they asked me to write the review. I actually never met them until the day I was asked but everyone seems somewhat like family or very close friends when it comes to management that I’ve heard of. It doesn’t seem like the place has too many activities that are centered towards the residents but my mom is very at peace there.

My Dad wasn’t really a social guy before moving into this community but with the wonderful activities team led by Brittney Brown with her Assistant Taylor Paxton he is the life of the party. Every day is filled with special activities. This past weekend was extra special with the love they showed to all of the Veterans. My Dad is still talking about it. I love visiting as much as he loves living here. Thank you Summit Place for giving my Dad his life back.

My 97 year old mother-in-law moved into the Summit Place of Mooresville, NC over a year ago. We visited about 4 other assisted living facilities but my mother-in-law felt that the Summit Place has that Southern and friendly feeling that she was looking for. After her decision to live at the Summit, Sona the Director of Marketing made it such a smooth transition for our family to move my mother in law in their facility. On a daily basis we find the Summit Place to be very clean, tidy, with no unpleasant smells. Medications are administered in timely manner, and above all the value is excellent with a family-oriented, and well-planned activities. Everyone seems to be very happy, including the staff. The food is very healthy and tasty with three meals a day and snacks. They have a birthday bashes for anyone that has birthdays for the month, sing-a-longs and devotion every week. It is an understatement to say we are very pleased with the Summit Place of Mooresville, NC.

Mom has been in memory care at Summit Place for four months. Every employee has been amazing, especially Sona! She has gone over and beyond her job expectations to make my family feel welcomed, The memory care employees have treated my Mom with respect, patience, caring and love. I highly recommend Summit Place. The residents are family to each other, and all employees are caring and personable, and know every resident by name.

I am a local realtor helping out of state clients move to this area. I toured Summit Place this past week to find options for clients elderly parents involved in their move. It is a great facility for Family who want to live on their own but really should be assisted. Very friendly staff! Warm environment. I like the angle the staff takes, “this is the residents’ home, we work in it.” It is not a nursing home, it is a home with full amenities and assistance. Not what I expected, much better. I encourage you to check it out for yourself.
