My aunt loves living at Sunrise. We moved her there after a very disappointing experience at another facility. We have been nothing but amazed at the quality of care, the loyalty of the staff and the very homey environment. My aunt feels very safe and well taken care of at Sunrise on Hillcrest. When I was looking for a place for my father, I was initially attracted to the warm, homelike environment of Sunrise on Hillcrest. The room that would be his had a great view of the wooded creek and trees. Add to that, Sunrise was very clean, and quite frankly, didn't smell like so many assisted living places do. A few weeks ago, as my father neared the end of his life, he told me I'd picked a great place for him. He said they really take good care of me . . . and they're a lot of fun. I can't say enough about how he was treated by all the caregivers and staff. Resident Care Director, Nikki, does a great job of keeping things running smoothly. And, I have to give a special thanks to Omika and Keeva for going above and beyond in their care of my dad.

My mother in law has been at Sunrise on Hillcrest for about six months and is fully enjoying life more than when she was at her home. The team members love her. The management team is wonderful. There is always lots of activities going on. I highly recommend you tour Sunrise if you are looking for a place for a loved one.

Many of the 5 star reviews say it best, we cannot be happier with Sunrise and the care and attention they pay to the residents. My mother was diagnosed with early/mid stages of dementia and was recovering from a bad fall/head injury when we found Sunrise. She was unsure and uncomfortable about the change in surroundings. The staff cares and is committed. The Sunrise team prioritizes resident engagement and I strongly believe this engagement has been the most important part of maintaining Mom's quality of life, and has slowed the progressive impact of dementia. I would give them 6 stars if I could. All I can say to the Sunrise staff is thank you!

If I could give 6 stars I would! Sunrise has provided not only a community for my family member, but a place she can call a home. From the moment you walk in the staff is attentive and welcoming to all. A key that has helped my family member thrive, has been the consistent activities offered daily. With the wide range of activities offered she can pick and choose to what she feels up to that day. She has been well informed of what is going on and feels she is an integral part of the community she lives in.Thank you Sunrise!

Sunrise at Hillcrest provided my Mother with the much needed round-the-clock, consistent care that kept her vibrant and viable. She was very fond of the staff and the activities that she looked forward to daily. Seeing her smile on posted pictures and featured in articles let us know that there were good people caring for her and making her days there enjoyable. Grateful for the comfort they gave us knowing she was being loved and looked after.

For more than 12 years I have been associated with Sunrise. My parents lived there and called it Sunrise home. Some staff members still with Sunrise after many years. I searched for the best home for my parents and found comfort with Sunrise Hillcrest. The residents are wonderful.

My mom who's is in her 80's has been at this facility for awhile now. We are so happy with the care she's been getting. The staff are truly amazing, they are very caring and attentive. The staff is so hands on and friendly.I highly recommend this place when families have to make a hard choice to put their love one's in assistant living this is as close as home as you can get.

Hillcrest did a fantastic job of taking care of my Mother (RIP). They welcomed her into their fold and did a fantastic job of taking care of her needs. Although she was reluctant to go to Hillcrest at first, the caring and friendly attitude of the administration, attendants, therapists, nurses, and workers won her over. She quickly settled into her new home and was delighted about the care she received from Hillcrest. We, as a family, couldn't have asked for a better assisted living facility for my Mother, especially in her final days before she ascended to heaven. Thank you Hillcrest.

The staff at Sunrise Senior Living are some of the most compassionate and dedicated people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. They truly care about the well-being of each and every resident and go out of their way to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy. They are always available to answer questions, lend a listening ear, or provide assistance with anything residents may need. The facility itself is beautiful and well-maintained, with spacious living areas, comfortable bedrooms, and plenty of natural light. It's clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating a space that feels like a true home, rather than an institution. The grounds are also lovely, with manicured gardens and walking paths that residents can enjoy. But what really sets Sunrise Senior Living apart is the wide range of activities and amenities they offer. Whether residents want to take part in group exercise classes, attend social events, or simply relax in the on-site library or game room, there's always something to do. And with delicious, nutritious meals provided three times a day, residents never have to worry about cooking or cleaning up after themselves. All in all, I can't recommend Sunrise Senior Living enough. If you or a loved one is in need of an assisted living facility that truly puts residents first, this is the place to be.

My mother is in the memory care community at Sunrise on Hillcrest. I can't speak highly enough about the care she has received from this wonderful team. She is remarkably healthy and happy today as a direct result of getting nutritious meals and caring, friendly interactions every single day with the team members of Sunrise. When I take her around the neighborhood we are frequently stopped by team members who want to say hello to mom. They often tell her they love her or how pretty she looks today. My mom lights up every time - and I can see how each interaction makes her day a little brighter. I'm so thankful for the kindness and genuine care that the good folks at Sunrise give to my mom.

My husband is on the 3rd floor memory care unit of Sunrise. Brooke is in charge of the third-floor. She does a wonderful job! She is very responsive & quick to respond to any question or request one might have. She knows and cares about each resident. Laura, is in charge of the enrichment program for the residents. She is very engaging and brings a light hearted breath of fresh air to the floor when presenting her activities to the group. I can also complement every aide and tech on the third floor for a job well done. They work well together as a team, which is what it takes to provide the special care necessary for my husband and the other residents on the third floor. They have been absolutely fantastic with my 86 year old mom! She is in the memory unit and her dementia has actually improved with them. Both times she returned from the hospital and almost had died and had little hope she wasn't going to thrive, she regained her weight, perked back up from the love and attention, her strength and memory improved , and the bed sores from rehab improved and resolved. The caregivers are all so absolutely sweet and patient even when they get stressed. It is very clean, smells great, and the atmosphere is very pleasing and upbeat. The activities director is always so happy with the residents, loving and gets them involved and perks their mood up. The directors will always respond back to the family promptly with your concerns and seem genuine in their actions rather than acting more "corporate ". I can't attest to all of the locations since my mom hasn't been in but one but you can tell they have a higher standard and expectation of care. I know this since I visit her almost every week and am a physician myself so I am quite acquainted with nursing home facilities. No place is perfect but I absolutely feel safe and comfortable that she is there.

My sister lives at Sunrise on Hillcrest. When we were looking for a place for her, this was our first choice (out of many we researched). Built like a home, and filled with a wonderful staff who are all terrific, from Destinee, the Executive Director, on down, my sister couldn't be happier. The activities keep her challenged and involved, and very active! If you're looking for a place for your family (or for yourself). I highly recommend Sunrise on Hillcrest!

I feel so blessed to live at here at Sunrise. We are consistently cared for and challenged and entertained with our daily life and activities. The staff is amazing from top to bottom, all under the leadership and inspiration of our amazing Executive Director, Destinee Madison. Over the last several years we have had the opportunity to work with Sunrise on Hillcrest on a multitude of occasions. The community is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside and very well kept. I have always been impressed by the high quality and responsiveness of their staff. A lot of our experience has been directly with Austin C. and he is truly a pleasure to work with as he always goes above and beyond for his residents. I highly recommend Sunrise on Hillcrest for your loved one.

Just went on a tour and I was so relieved honestly. It was lovely and the staff was able to answer all of my questions. It was clean and the tenants all seemed happy. I have one more tour but this is high on my list.

The meal last night said Apple glazed Chicken with risotto and spinach. Sounds good right? The chicken was a leg and thigh of a quail, I think. I dont think they sell chicken that small. The risotto was about a small Tablespoon of something that had no taste at all and the spinach was a spoon of just wilted spinach. The chicken was just plain baked with no sauce. I dont know what Wasapple glazed. The dessert was a 1, 2 slice of pound cake without any sauce or fruit or anything to make it edible. If I had someone there, I would definitely move them immediately. There is no excuse for food to be that bad.

This is a beautiful facility, and the staff with which we communicate are kind and caring. Vicky and Vickie are wonderful. (Not sure of the spelling - one works the front desk, the other keeps the dining room running smoothly.) We love that so many of the staff know the residents names. Jose is very nice in the dining room. Although some housekeeping and laundry issues crop up from time to time, overall they seem to keep a good eye on things. And we loved Patrick, the house dog, and his replacement Jagger. The other residents seem to love him as well.

ppl have to understand it only so much an assistant living place can do. the families have to help. this place is filled with hard working and caring caregivers that put there all everyday the come to work. there not pefect, but im sure randy p isnt either. bring your elderly here then will care and love them very much.
