The Oxford Grand has literally been life changing for my mom. Living on her own was becoming difficult for her, and her health was deteriorating fast. We knew we had to make a change. We visited several assisted living facilities in the area, and the Oxford Grand was an easy choice for us. From the attentive and friendly staff to the meticulously-maintained facilities to the amazing number of activities they offer, no where else compared to what Oxford had to offer. After just a few months at being at the Oxford Grand, she was moving much better, and she was happier than she's been in a long time. She was originally a little reluctant to move to assisted living, but now she wishes she had done it sooner. When I asked if she's made any new friends, she rattled off at least 30 names from memory. She couldn't be happier.

Oxford Grand is an exceptional assisted living facility. Their staff are caring, compassionate and genuinely invested in the wellbeing of the residents. My parents have lived at Oxford Grand for 14 months. The majority of the staff knew them by name within the first week, and the staff have made a concerted effort to know both me and my brother. The head nurse at Ox G, Susan Taylor, has been invaluable with guidance and medical care advice during a particularly difficult health period with my mom. The life enrichment team works tirelessly to provide vibrant activities and interesting outings to keep the residents feeling involved and connected to the world around them. I toured 9 ASL centers before choosing Ox G for my parents, and my family and I are 100% pleased with our decision!

Following what should've been a routine surgery turned into a nightmare with two emergency surgeries to follow and near death my mom fortunately survived, yet I knew my mother was not coming home to her mother-in-law suite within my home. I will spare you the details but in 6 months I moved my mom 4 times due to awful care she was given. She is a relatively new resident at Oxford Grand McKinney as of Jan. 2025 and she absolutely LOVES IT HERE. The staff is so nice. She has so many activities to be involved with and she's made a ton of new friends. AND her current friends are close and come and visit her all the time. Besides all of that, my mom likes to eat, and she LOVES the food, and they are accommodating to her. What a blessing this place has been to her and our family. Thank YOU so much for caring well for my mother.

I moved my Mother into Oxford Grand after she lost her husband in 2021. She was 94 at the time and I didn't know how long she would live. Once at Oxford Grand my Mother thrived. She attended all the activities, which is so important. The exercise classes, special entertainment, movies, games on and on. They go above and beyond to keep our loved ones in community and entertain them. They take them out on the bus once a week, shopping, lunch, sightseeing. All of this was important to me and Mother. Then you add the level of care, love, hugs and attention you get at Oxford Grand. The medical attention should also be noted. They would notice if something wasn't right and would call the doctor and/or prescribe whatever needed. It is beyond what I could have ever hoped for. The dining is a beautiful atmosphere, the waiters call the residents by name. The food is made especially for their diets or restrictions. My Mother recently passed away at almost 99. She was loved, cared for all the way until the end. And after that I got so many hugs and text and emails. Oxford Grand doesn't only take care of your loved one, they take care of you. I will be forever grateful for the love and care I received as well. If there was more than 10 stars I would give it! Thank you everyone at Oxford Grand...I will miss you.

Oxford Grand has been such an amazing HOME for my mom. She moved in 18 months ago to the assisted living side and was immediately welcomed and truly felt at home. The accommodations, the events, the food and the entertainment were top notch. She has since moved into their Memory Care unit with a very easy transition. Everyone from the front office staff to the nurses and techs have truly been a blessing as we navigate this new journey. We've been very happy that we found such an amazing place so close to us for mom’s final days.

My mom has lived here for 3+ years. The staff that interacts with my mom on a daily basis from the nursing care, activities director, etc. are still the same smiling faces that we met in move-in day. I also know and recognize many of the residents; many of whom have been there longer than my mom. The staff is easy to get in touch with and very responsive to concerns/needs:-) I could go on and on but in short it feels like one big family at The Oxford Grand and has for many years!!! This was the assisted living we chose for my mom who was 89 when she moved in. She had memory issues, and I strongly believe that many facilities would have put her in memory care right away. But the staff at Oxford, along with the residents helped to take care of my mom, while she was in assisted living for 3 years. Sharon and Carol along with all of the other staff are extremely passionate about their work and it is not easy. We moved mom to memory care in 2023 for her safety and the staff there was excellent as well, Marisol, Ms. Ann and Trina, did great work along with the other staff. They were so caring it made me feel good knowing that the staff took such good care of her. If you are looking, take the time to stop in. Little things, like the construction, being a square building is genius, as its difficult to get lost. Thank you to all of the staff who took care of my mom for these past 4 years.

This is one of the best retirement homes in the area. The employees are kind, friendly, and always willing to help the residents in anyway they can. The facility is clean as well as inviting. The residents are happy and always have kind words to say about the staff. The activity coordinating is amazing. She always has her residents at her best interest. She loves her job and it shows. She cares for them as if they were her parents. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a retirement home to visit this facility.

I've been very pleasantly surprised so far and impressed. My faves so far are Lisa Tanisha michelle and the receptionist. All were very friendly and funny.. Everyone is very sweet to my grandmother. They are very welcoming to visitors as well. It's a huge nice facility. Today Lisa read them facts and asked trivia questions. They did great. Very bright. They knew all about Germany, Switzerland, and France. The staff is very careful to make sure everyone is in one area and watched. Past 2 visits they were watching hallmark channel. Very nice.

My father-in-law moved into the Oxford 6 months ago. He is genuinely happy with decision. My wife and I are also. The staff from the front desk to the med techs, dining and especially life engagement are awesome. Everyone has made us feel welcome and that our dad is in good hands. We choose the in-house doctors and pharmacy. Our dad also takes his PT in house as well. These choices make his days go smoothly and allow any concerns he has to be addressed immediately. The residents are given plenty of time to address management during the regular town hall meetings and we have seen clear actions taken as a result of their concerns. We share in many of the group activities with our Dad and have been pleasantly surprised by his participation when we are not there. We always feel wecome. Great job Oxford Grand at McKinney! P.S. You crushed it with the fall festival.

Oxford Grand has been a blessing to my parents as well as to our family, and we feel like family at Oxford Grand! The facility and grounds are beautiful, clean, well-managed and welcoming. The staff is kind and caring, not only among the residents, but to family members as well. The Activities Team is top notch!!! Residents have multiple options of activities to include exercise, outings, games, entertainment, arts and crafts among many other options! The activities are not just Monday through Friday, but throughout the weekend as well. How grateful we are to call ourselves Oxford Grand family. Come and join us!

I’d like to thank all the caregivers at Oxford Grand. Mother has been a resident for over 5 years. We wanted a place that would be very professional in providing care for her. She has received great medical care. But what we didn’t realize was how important the care givers would be in caring for her emotional and personal life too. During Covid especially, they were the only people she saw for months. We are so thankful for the loving care each caregiver has given Mother. They enrich her life everyday. She is active and happy. Oxford Grand is her home and she feels very cared for and we are so grateful.

My mom had the pleasure of living at Oxford Grand McKinney for about a year. She and my dad lived at another McKinney area assisted living and there is literally no comparison. The staff at Oxford Grand is top notch, from the director, Jeannette and the nursing Supervisor, Susan all the way to the maintenance man, and everyone in between. The residents are warm and welcoming, and mom quickly found her people there. Jeannette and Susan were always responsive if I had a concern or question. Mom was there during Covid, and they did a wonderful job of keeping the families informed and the residents safe and as engaged as possible. I can't recommend Oxford Grand McKinney enough!

The leadership team is strong, competent, and caring, and the staff is loving and considerate. My mother in law recently had to be moved into Memory Care at Oxford Grand. It was a difficult decision but the staff made the transition streamlined and smooth. She currently has a shared room and a companion. While we initially were skeptical of this arrangement, it has turned out to be the best thing for her. Not only is she never alone, but there is someone there for her to speak with and they can assist each other when needed. It gives me peace of mind knowing that the staff will not only look after her but also that she feels safe and comfortable in her new environment. I thank Oxford Grand for helping us find a bit of peace in a trying time.

I moved my Mom from another AL facility in McKinney where she had been living for over 3.5 years so I do have a basis for comparison. So far I couldn't be happier with my decision and neither can she. The Oxford Grand is a beautiful, brand new, state of the art facility where she is paying less but getting more services. There is a nurse on staff 24/7, delicious chef-prepared meals, well-planned and supported activities and a relatively low resident to caregiver ratio. There's also memory care on premises should she ever need that level of care. But most of all, the staff seems to genuinely care about my Mom and all the other residents as well. They are very responsive and genuinely happy to serve and I hope that never changes.
