Following what should've been a routine surgery turned into a nightmare with two emergency surgeries to follow and near death my mom fortunately survived, yet I knew my mother was not coming home to her mother-in-law suite within my home. I will spare you the details but in 6 months I moved my mom 4 times due to awful care she was given. She is a relatively new resident at Oxford Grand McKinney as of Jan. 2025 and she absolutely LOVES IT HERE. The staff is so nice. She has so many activities to be involved with and she's made a ton of new friends. AND her current friends are close and come and visit her all the time. Besides all of that, my mom likes to eat, and she LOVES the food, and they are accommodating to her. What a blessing this place has been to her and our family. Thank YOU so much for caring well for my mother.

Oxford Grand has been a blessing to my parents as well as to our family, and we feel like family at Oxford Grand! The facility and grounds are beautiful, clean, well-managed and welcoming. The staff is kind and caring, not only among the residents, but to family members as well. The Activities Team is top notch!!! Residents have multiple options of activities to include exercise, outings, games, entertainment, arts and crafts among many other options! The activities are not just Monday through Friday, but throughout the weekend as well. How grateful we are to call ourselves Oxford Grand family. Come and join us!

I’d like to thank all the caregivers at Oxford Grand. Mother has been a resident for over 5 years. We wanted a place that would be very professional in providing care for her. She has received great medical care. But what we didn’t realize was how important the care givers would be in caring for her emotional and personal life too. During Covid especially, they were the only people she saw for months. We are so thankful for the loving care each caregiver has given Mother. They enrich her life everyday. She is active and happy. Oxford Grand is her home and she feels very cared for and we are so grateful.

I toured Oxford Grand today and found it impressive with the library, patio garden and nice rooms. The chef’s dessert was delicious too!

We looked at many place for my mom and we picked Oxford Grand. The staff was exceptional in showing us around and working with us to determine best place for my mom. Once we decided on Oxford Grand, Lisa and her staff made the transition easy and even let my mom come to some events before we moved her in. Happy to report she is extremely happy with the activities and help she is getting. Would highly recommend Oxford Grand to a loved one that need assisted living care or memory care.

My mom had the pleasure of living at Oxford Grand McKinney for about a year. She and my dad lived at another McKinney area assisted living and there is literally no comparison. The staff at Oxford Grand is top notch, from the director, Jeannette and the nursing Supervisor, Susan all the way to the maintenance man, and everyone in between. The residents are warm and welcoming, and mom quickly found her people there. Jeannette and Susan were always responsive if I had a concern or question. Mom was there during Covid, and they did a wonderful job of keeping the families informed and the residents safe and as engaged as possible. I cant recommend Oxford Grand McKinney enough!

We moved my mother in law into Oxford Grand in December of last year. We instantly connected with everyone there like family. She is so happy and thriving. Covid has been tough times for everyone, but really tough on the elderly that cant see their families. The staff has loved on them continuously when we could not. They have kept them fed well, entertained, and engaged during these uncharted times. She has since been moved to the memory care side and she is adjusting well. We were not even able to help her make this transition but the staff loved her through it with a seamless process. We finally got to see her since March and she was beaming with happiness! Forever grateful for all they have done for her.

My mother in law recently had to be moved into Memory Care at Oxford Grand. It was a difficult decision but the staff made the transition streamlined and smooth. She currently has a shared room and a companion. While we initially were skeptical of this arrangement, it has turned out to be the best thing for her. Not only is she never alone, but there is someone there for her to speak with and they can assist each other when needed. It gives me peace of mind knowing that the staff will not only look after her but also that she feels safe and comfortable in her new environment. I thank Oxford Grand for helping us find a bit of peace in a trying time.

From the time we had our initial overview, we absolutely loved the Oxford Grand! Mom lived there 18 months and loved every minute. From the spacious and well-designed rooms to the fresh and tasty food, she was quite content. But the best part is outstanding care and attention provided by both by caregivers and management. Mom wasnt just a resident. She was treated as an important part of the place! From the daily activities to the one on one personal attention to the fun holiday celebrations, she always felt her life was made easier and was enriched by the staff. When she entered hospice, it was all hands on deck. Excellent communication from head nurse Susan to Executive Director Jeannette to every single care partner. The love and excellent care extended not just to my mom but to her entire family. Its an excellent facility. I recommend The Grand without reservation!

I moved my mom into The Oxford Grand in July, and I couldnt be happier. This move was unexpected and had to happen quickly. Finding a facility under these circumstances was very stressful, but the staff at The Oxford Grand made this process surprisingly easy. The facility is relatively small which allows the staff to know the residents and their families. Everyone is very kind and caring, and I appreciate knowing that my mom is in good hands.

Moved my mom here in September 2018 and couldnt be happier with our choice. The staff and residents are all so genuinely nice. Everyone is supportive. Food is great and activities are fun. The facility itself feels new and kept up nicely but not so formal that it doesnt feel like home. Would highly recommend Oxford Grand to others.

I moved my Mom from another AL facility in McKinney where she had been living for over 3.5 years so I do have a basis for comparison. So far I couldnt be happier with my decision and neither can she. The Oxford Grand is a beautiful, brand new, state of the art facility where she is paying less but getting more services. There is a nurse on staff 247, delicious chef-prepared meals, well-planned and supported activities and a relatively low resident to caregiver ratio. Theres also memory care on premises should she ever need that level of care. But most of all, the staff seems to genuinely care about my Mom and all the other residents as well. They are very responsive and genuinely happy to serve and I hope that never changes.

I love my job at Oxford Grand. I love our residents and getting to know them and their familys. I work with wonderful people who love to take care of our residents. I have never worked anywhere else that is more kind and loving than the Oxford Grand. The hugs are plentiful, and always followed by kind words. 5 stars

I recently placed my Mom in the wonderful Oxford Grand community, all the employees are very kind and caring! This whole place is bright and cheerful! Unlike other assisted living care places I visited, when you walk into a dark foyer, you just say NOPE! When I walked into the Grand, I said, this is the place! Bright sunshine beaming in through the big windows in the large great room! Just felt like home!! Then Darci Oliver took the time to get to know my Mom, without her even being there, from the past to the present! I walked in unannounced and she dropped what she was doing and spent over an hour with me! Never made me feel rushed or that I was talking up her time!! So happy that I chose this place for her! Highly recommend it! Thank you to all for caring for your residents that are also your extended family!!

This beautiful place is like no other place i have ever worked, and i have worked a couple of places in McKinney. The love and support you feel and get from the management staff is like no other.. The technology they have at this place for the care of your loved ones (residents) is like no other. If you want your love ones to get the at Home love you would give them then this is the place to come. The works are AWESOME. . i as a worker will never, ever leave this place... I LOVE YOU ALL AT THE GRAND....
