John has been at Fairmont Senior Center on & off for 3 years. He was here first for rehab after surgery & stayed a couple of months. After going home for 2 years he came back 7 months ago and is now in memory care. The care here has always been top notch. The care givers are kind in sometimes difficult situations. For all that is required for a loved one’s care the price is reasonable. Thank you to all.

This place is wonderful!!! It's clean and the staff really works hard to make it comfortable for my grandma. The management is amazing so if your looking for a place to leave your loved ones with no worries this the place. Ryan who I believe is a director has been a absolutely helpful and he should know it.

Recently we made a decision to move my parents from our previous community to Fairmont and we are SO happy we did! The communication between staff, directors etc has been so impressive! The few minor questions or issues we’ve had were immediately met and taken care of. We would recommend easily based off of the professionalism of staff and management. I am happy every time I come to visit and see that the standard of care is always top priority, it does not go unnoticed!!!

My father in law lives in memory care at Fairmont. Everyone who works there shows kindness and caring every time we are there. The staff is accommodating when we visit even if we tie up a large table since there are so many of us . They always have such nice things to say about my father in law and tell us how much they love him! It always seems like there is some activity going on to engage the residents which I think is really important. We attended the Easter brunch that Fairmont puts on and it was fabulous! The Easter bunny was there and they had an egg hunt which dad’s great grandkids really enjoyed! The food was spectacular and dad was able to enjoy it with us! I am so glad that dad is in such a warm and loving place! I would highly recommend Fairmont to anyone who is looking for a senior living community!

The moment I walked into Fairmont Senior Living I was sure my father would be happy living there. The residents were engaged with activities. The general staff cheerfully greeted me and the professional staff was just that, professional. Fairmont continues to be the right choice for my father.

From the first moment I stepped into Fairmont Senior Living I knew this was the perfect place for my mom. The decision to move her to an assisted living facility after caring for her in my home for nearly 9 years was the most difficult decision I’ve ever had to make. My initial contact at Fairmont was Jane. I cannot begin to describe how understanding, compassionate, friendly, and professional she was and continues to be. Jen, the Director of Nursing is so caring, thoughtful, empathetic, understanding, and really listens. Her professionalism shines through in all she does. Together with Charity, they address and resolve any concerns that may arise. All the staff from the nurses, aides, the front desk, the nutrition and dining room, and activities staff AND especially Megan, the activities director are very caring. There are numerous activities scheduled each month that residents look forward to and enjoy. I must mention that Kyle, the head of the nutrition department and Chef does a great job! He really knows how to cook! With all of these wonderful people caring for my mom, I feel comfortable and confident that she is in good hands. I honestly think God orchestrated this union of my mom and me with Fairmont Senior Living.

My grandpa has recently become a resident @ Fairmont in Washington Township and my family could not be more happy. Each staff member is kind and the few that we know more closely truly make the place feel like home. Everything is clean and feels organized and easy to navigate. We just went to a brunch event that was open to family members, including kids, and had the best time. Highly recommend!

I couldn't be more impressed with the Fairmont facility and staff. I researched many senior living facilities in Dayton for my dad, and Fairmont easily stood out from the pack. The rooms are comfortable, the expansive common areas and dining hall are inviting (my dad spends most of his time in those areas), and the staff have been nothing but kind to me and my father. I know he is in a safe, comfortable place, where the kind staff will take good care of him. That brings me so much peace of mind as a son living several states away from Dayton. And a special note of praise for Jane Stires at Fairmont, who helped me navigate the entire process of getting my dad into this facility.

We had a family member in need of an Assisted Living and we toured several locations in the South Dayton Area. Fairmont Senior Living stuck out above the rest, due to the staff. The building is in a wonderful, quiet, safe location. The exterior and interior are very up to date and well kept. Our first interactions were with Jane, who was a pleasure to deal with. She was very direct and upfront towards all of our questions. You could tell she cared that our family member was going to have the right fit for their needs! The Care staff has been wonderful! Jen & Charity have been with the community for YEARS, which is comforting to know! We feel comfortable knowing they are responsible for the care of our loved one. The rest of the staff (front desk, maintenance, kitchen, activities, office) have always been welcoming with a smile on their faces. I will continue to recommend Fairmont Senior Living to any friends that are looking. It can be a stressful time and decision, but they lift that weight with their work and experience!

My aunt is a resident. And while it’s a lovely facility, & the staff seem very friendly, could you please do something about the carpet in the residents’ rooms, i.e., tear it up & put down vinyl or laminate flooring?! The carpet looks very worn & drab, & it wouldn’t do any good in cushioning a resident’s fall. That’s the only negative I see.

We moved our 93 year old mother to Fairmont. Absolutely the best decision to choose Fairmont. Not only did my mom immediately become a member of the Fairmont family, my whole family did. They take great care of our mom and she is very happy there. The staff are amazing people and genuinely sincere about making sure to make the atmosphere a true loving community. Our mom is smiling and laughing again and feels at home.

Wonderful facility for those with dementia. Fairmont is not a clinical setting like some memory care facilities I've visited. It's an open and welcoming place with an activities area, living/tv room, dining room, and resident bedrooms. There are daily activities to do and the caregivers are kind and attentive to the residents (and their families). They truly care for the residents and that is evident in their interactions. I have not seen or heard of a facility better suited for my mom as she goes through her journey with dementia. Fairmont is the BEST!!

Fairmont Senior Living facility is very professionally managed. The staff there really care for your loved ones. I've heard from several staff members (while my mom was admitted there) why they love coming to work from a genuine place in their hearts - in particular Victoria (she is an aide in Memory Care) who took the time to paint my mom's nails and share with me why she likes working at Fairmont. Other staff members who made us feel comfortable during my mom's transition included the Executive Director (Mr. Ryan Bray), the Community Relations Director (Jane Stires), the Memory Care Directors (Holly D and Megan), the Director of Nursing (Jennifer B.) and the Doug T. (Business Office Manager), MacKenzie and Charity, the nurses who evaluated my mom prior to admission were very kind and understanding of our particular situation. There were other aides that assisted as ell. They all did outstanding work to help my mom transition - in her own time. For this, our family is eternally grateful. I highly recommend this facility for assisted living and memory care services.

This facility has went above and beyond my expectations. I moved my Great Aunt in and have never been more pleased with the exceptional staff, some of which have been there treating the residents like family for 10+ years. The time and care that is given to each individual is exactly what we were looking for in an assisted living home. Thank you for giving my family and I some peace of mind with this decision.

My 93 year old mother is now a resident at the Washington Township Brighton. We are very pleased with the wonderful residents, the facility and the great activities. She looks forward to all the fun social events that happen daily. It has been a great fit for her! It's wonderful to have such great reliable staff. Touring this facility was actually depressing! The marketing rep. was quite underwhelming and apathetic!! I was left with the impression that he could have cared less if I decided to have my loved one move in. NO under roof outdoor seating for the residents a few scattered picnic tables and what senior citizen in need of this kind of facility in which to live can SAFELY and comfortably sit at a picnic table ?!? And no shade or protection from the Sun. Poor souls who live there!!!

Everyone here is so friendly and genuinely cares about the residents. The community is clean, warm, and cozy! The residents were having an afternoon social when I was there and they all were smiling and having a great time. This is a wonderful community!!

Hi. My name is Colleen. My Mother Joan moved into the Washington Township Brighten Gardens three years ago in May. My Mother has lived at other Assisted Livings, but not like Brighten Gardens. From the very first time we walked in the doors it was obvious the folks living there were getting on with life , not just sitting and waiting for it to end. Three and a half years later thru a crazy lockdown pandemic, BG is Home. The Individualized care and attention never changed.we call everyone Family < we laugh we cry we celebrate we grieve we have fun. We are living life. I am Grateful everyday for the decision we made to call Brighten Gardens home. Thank You < a very Grateful Daughter.

My 92 year old mother just moved to Brighton Gardens this summer after one of her neighbors recommended the facility after his father was a resident prior to his passing. The Gardens made the transition from her house seemless. The staff are genuinely nice and compassionate to each and everyone including my mom. The care there is top notch and my mom says the food is the best she's ever had, and it's more like a fine dining restaurant. For me, the daughter, I like the fact that I don't have to worry about her daily care and that she's in a safe and healthy environment. We posted very happy with our decision. we made that her new living

Our family was incredibly impressed with the clean and welcoming atmosphere of Brighton Gardens. Jeni Messer was a wonderful tour guide who answered all of our questions and made my father feel at home.

My grandma has been living here for years. My grandpa passed away in 2016 and then my mother 2 months later and she had to move in here because she needed help. Because my grandma is unable to drive and move around on her own they let us have my moms memorial service there which was very, very nice. The place is very clean and my grandma likes it a lot. She just turned 99 years old and is doing great. I feel thankful for everyone there.

My mom has been there 10 months. Everyone is very nice. The staff members all know her and call her by name in the halls, dining room or wherever she is. On her birthday, they made her feel very special.

Staff are friendly, but the time that it takes for someone to come is a little ridiculous. Nice facility on the inside, if you need very minimal assistance.
