The best decision ever .. every person in here is amazing I have never seen my mother so happy . 97 years old and she was difficult , now a pleasure since at Chelsea. The rooms are immaculate. All residents are dressed so nicely. The activities are awesome, the encouragement to participate in activities is awesome . I cannot say enough about this facility. The caretakers and managers are responsive and encouraging. Always pleasant . This place was a god send hands down . Thank you to everyone who has a part in this . It takes an army and I know I couldn't do it on my own , but you have mastered the care . I sleep very well knowing my mom is in your care ! Thank you so so much! I apologize for not mentioning specific names but there are too many and I don't want to overlook anyone. My mom is fully aware of her care and she is extremely happy, my mind is at ease and so is hers .

Amazing staff & facility . The transition for my Mother in law to the facility , from her home was so easy ! Ida , Kennedy , Elisabeth were beyond helpful , and the therapy department stepped rite in and started services quickly upon move in. I would highly recommend this facility for any Assisted Living needs ! It is a warm , caring environment that makes such a hard transition , feel seamless THANK YOU to the entire staff for being so nice !

It’s now been almost three years my mom is there.. over two years from from the pandemic and my mom has been at the Chelsea since October 2019 .. things will never be perfect but I still believe my mom is in the right place ….many things are not in the control of the Chelsea currently due to township guidelines for rules and regulations of COVID which we are still under believe it or not , however this Chelsea really really does care about the residents …they fight for the residents and you would not know that unless you were involved. There are too many of the wonderful people to name individually.. but it’s because of Elizabeth, the nursing staff, like Sheila, Kiera and nursing director Rachel, like Maryellen and Susanne, the front desk support of Amy and Wanda … all are hands on each and every day … and help sooo much ! and I know Sarah Ann will bring new and positive things to the Chelsea as the new director … no place is perfect and as the child or responsible party for someone you love at the Chelsea or any where you must be involved .. it’s your responsibility to your loved one and to yourself .. if you are involved like me .. then you see how hard they work , how devoted the staff is, how much they care , and you understand the system … this group of women and men do their very best every single day . They may not be perfect .. but they do strive for perfection … and my mom suffers from not only dimensia but cancer and they understand.. they get it .. and they do know how to care for the elderly, assisted living and beyond ! My hat and heart go out to them … I could not do what they do on a daily basis and I have only one person to help care for … could there be a few tweeks here and there? For sure ! But no place is perfect .. but my mom is happy and this place comes pretty darn close and it will always be home to my mom until she leaves me

I accepted a position here in 2020 after I lost my job during the Covid pandemic. I just wanted to write that my experience here was wonderful, they really work with you. Sadly I accepted a position for another company and today I spoke to my former manager. Hearing Shelly’s voice really makes me miss The Chelsea at Forsgate.

My mom has been living in The Chelsea at Forsgate for the past 4 years. The staff is very caring and supportive of the residents. You can really see that they really do care about the residents. With all of the challenges from COVID, the staff has continued to do everything they can and follow all of the guidelines to ensure the residents are safe and protected. I am very grateful for everything they do.

Mom has been a resident at Chelsea at Forsgate for the past 2 years and we could not have selected a better place. The facility is warm & inviting, the staff and senior management truly care about the residents & keep families informed. Two of my aunts are also residents; the highest compliment we could give is entrusting the care of our loved ones! I would highly recommend you consider this facility to care for your family member. My Dad has been a resident at Chelsea at Forsgate since May 1, 2021. It was a really hard decision for myself and my family to make but sincerely the best decision we could have made. Seeing my Dad flurish because of the love, care, attention and activities they give him that keeps his mind sharp. They have giving him a new outlook on life. He has made friends. He is never in his room always wanting to be involved with ther daily activities. They feel like family they sincerely care about there residents. The management and every staff member goes above an beyond to address all of his needs. They keep me informed on his progress and concerns. They have given him physical and occupational therapy and he is walking and taking care of himself so much better. There evaluation was on target to his medication and his care. I couldn't of asked for a better home for my Dad. I highly recommend this assisted living facility.

My father-in-law died at age 96 this year. He and my mother-in-law were married for 66 years and took care of each other. Mom could not live alone, and requires full time assistance. We checked out several facilities and found the Chelsea @Forsgate which is conveniently located in Monroe Twp. NJ - less than 30 minutes away. The Chelsea has a memory care unit, which is great because Mom has difficulty remembering and needs to be guided and reminded for many reasons. We inspected & toured the facility, read reviews, checked with the appropriate government agencies and with Moms approval, and Regina Brownes assistance, selected The Chelsea. The staff are very knowledgeable, helpful, caring and compassionate. Before the pandemic, we visited Mom regularly. While we speak by phone several times a week, its not the same, and we are very appreciative of the staff arranging FaceTime virtual visits for us, sending us photos, reaching out to us and responding to any concerns we may have about Mom. Mom talks to us regularly, and she is very content with her mini-apartment in the memory care unit and feels at home there.

The staff and the majority of the aides are kind, friendly, caring and SO patient They are efficient and effective in their handling of the Covid 19 crisis, implementing safety procedures that have protected residents and visitors. My mom always raves about the meals!!

Hi and thanks for giving me the opportunity to share my mom and my experiences at the Chelsea.. loving and kind environment for my mom and every one has the patience of saints ...my mom has a beautiful room and the staff could not have been more helpful upon moving in almost one year ago ... the Chelsea has weathered through covid 19 carefully, responsibly and thoughtfully as best they can being governed by the state and cdc guidelines ... the staff has never lost sight of the residents needs and for that I am grateful ..I feel as well as my mom ....feels safe and well tended too, they r always there when u need them and act upon things quickly and efficiently..and in the spirit of caring week I give the entire staff a five star rating

Ever since my mother moved into Chelsea at forsgate almost 5 years ago, I have always been so impressed with the staff!! Even before the covid lockdown, staff went above and beyond to not only support my mother but to support me!!! While I am afraid to give names as I am sure I will forget someone, names make the compliment real. So....my heros, both past and current staff...michelle, regina, samantha, maryellen, milka, Wanda, mary, millie, liz, stephanie, laura, denis, Shelley, and all the custodians!!!!

Overall, facility is clean and many good staff members. It has been rough getting through the pandemic, but they have done their best. I wish the Med techs would be more patient and informed about patients Meds and their medical history. The front desk staff and nurses have been helpful and caring.

I cant say enough about the staff at Chelsea. They are always helpful, accommodating, friendly and caring. They always inform me of everything and anything to do with my mother in law. And lastly they definetely have alot of patience. Thank you for all you do.

I was given a tour by Maria. She was friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. The location was very calm and quiet and the rooms were beautiful. It was obvious the staff were caring and really looked after their family
