This facility offers a wonderful experience for assisted living. I have a beautiful apartment and it is very very well located. The food is goes from OK to very good and the people residence are very friendly and all of the workers at Mira Vie are very helpful and on the spot immediately when you need them.

What a fabulous community!! I can’t say enough about the wonderful staff. It takes a special person to provide excellent care to our residents and we are filled with so many loving staff members. The residents brighten our day sharing their lifelong experiences. We are truly blessed that we have all these wonderful residents and compassionate caregivers. We wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve visited this facility on a handful of occasions and I am very impressed! The facility is very clean, well-maintained and has a happy, positive vibe. Can’t say enough amazing things about Mira Vie at Brookfield. They have made not only our loved one, but our entire family feel incredibly welcome. As you walk in, everybody knows your name, everyone knows your loved one. The care is above and beyond. The staff is professional and caring. From the medical staff, aides, housekeeping, the admin team, activities coordinators and beyond all of them are fully engaged and looking to make your loved one’s experience safe, fun, and engaging. When my dad had entered assisted living I knew he was in the right place at the Mira Vie. From Pat at the front desk to the entire staff day and night have been so kind and helpful to us that I can’t forget Susan who operates the shuttle. What a kind and patient person she is to take the residents to and from their appointments always with a smile on her face. Want to thank everyone at Mira Vie for being so helpful and wonderful during one of our family’s toughest times. I’ve recently had one of my parents move into this assisted living facility and could not be happier. Mira Vie is such a caring and independent facility. Specifically the sales director Annemarie Mata. She made us feel right at home and showed us the level of care and respect we will, and have received. Weeks after our move in, she continues to give us updates and advice and is personally checking in with my loved one and the family.

Making a quick decision about assisted living for my dad was one of the most stressful experiences I’ve ever faced. The situation changed unexpectedly, and I had to contact multiple facilities in a very short period of time. After visiting Mira Vie at Brookfield, I knew this was the right place”not just because of the environment, but primarily because of the people. From the beginning, the front desk staff were kind and helpful, making us feel welcome, while the nurses and support staff consistently showed care and professionalism. While I don’t know everyone by name, it’s clear that even those working behind the scenes play an essential role in creating a supportive and well-run community. One person who truly stood out was Annemarie Mata, the Director of Sales. She was a calm, compassionate presence during an incredibly difficult time. Annemarie listened closely, answered every question with patience and honesty, and guided us through the process without ever making it feel rushed or transactional. It’s clear this isn’t just a job to her”she approaches her work with genuine care, and it comes through in every interaction. Her thoughtful support gave me the confidence to make a decision I felt good about. Even now, we stay in regular contact. No decision like this is ever easy, but I’m grateful to have found a place where my dad is treated with dignity and kindness. Annemarie has been an absolute angel on Earth for my grandmother. From the minute we met her for an initial info session and tour of Mira Vie, she was so kind and helpful. You can tell how much she cares for her residents every time you see her and we are very thankful to have her!

When my mother first went to live at the Chelsea at Brookfield we were extremely happy. Everyone helped her settle in. If we came across any obstacles they were addressed immediately. The aides were so nice. As time went on they were understaffed and the care suffered. Once Mira Vie purchased it went downhill. She always complained about the food being terrible. They would forget to take my mother to dinner occasionally. Since my mom was blind I set an alarm to remind her it was meal time. The staffing became a big issue. They made my mother move to a shared room. We asked if my mother could age in place. They totally ignored our request. The roommate wasn't very nice. The staff would talk to the roommate but nothing changed. They wouldn't do anything about it. Within a few months , my mother passed. We received a bill which had a credit. After a month or so I followed up. Then I received a bill with an amount due. I called and after many conversations the answer I got was since Mira Vie purchased The Chelsea there rules have changed. It doesn't matter when you pass away you pay for the entire month. You would think during this difficult time for the family the administration would know all the new rules and regulations. It's been 10 months now. I would do my due diligence before placing your loved one.

My therapy dog Klondike and I love visiting Mira Vie! We always feel so welcomed by both the staff and residents, who are always so happy to see him. They’ve even made homemade dog biscuits for him and the other dogs in our group. It’s one of Klondike’s favorite places to visit - he loves all of his friends there!

The staff all pitched into do a fundraiser to benefit the local belvidere highschool project graduation. They wanted to give alittle back to the students. The highschool students have been visiting the residents and staff throughout the past few years for activies and projects. I believe many of the students enjoy it as much as the residents. What a great and positive thing in the community. The staff is very welcoming of the student visits. They are very friendly and helpful also.

Such a wonderful place with an amazing sense of community! My daughter has visited on many occasions with the high school club and always loves working with the residents. They do so many great interactive events with their residents. Its such a beautiful pleasant environment for those in their care as well as those visiting. I have personally had the pleasure of working with Susan Gackenbach when she so generously ran a fundraiser for our Belvidere High School Seniors. I cant say enough about how lovely she is to work with. I wish I could give this center 10 stars!!!

My mom became a member of the Mira Vie Brookfield community in November 2023. The relief we feel knowing she is in such a safe and caring environment is overwhelming. The staff is amazing from the director to the lovely ladies at the front desk and everyone in between. Our family is kept apprised of everything going on with mom in a timely manner. Mom has become so comfortable with everyone there that they have become a second family to her. The social activities that are available to the residents are also wonderful. From games and arts and crafts to musical programs, therapy pets and student visits, the residents are always entertained. I would highly recommend the Mira Vie Brookfield community to anyone looking for a safe and happy place for their loved ones.

The Resident Care Coordinator is always on top of my aunt’s appointments and ensuring she has all the supplies she needs. She communicates with us so I always feel in the loop for my aunt’s care. My aunt is happy so I’m happy!

What a lovely place! As an entertainer in many senior facilities, I'm happy to say that one of the best Senior living facilities around is right in beautiful Belvidere, NJ. The residents are wonderful and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I can see why the folks are so upbeat when I visit them! I highly recommend checking them out if you're looking for quality senior living in this area.

Someone very dear to me who I have known for over 30 years is at Mira Vie at Brookfield. She moved into the assistant living and the staff saw in time that she would benefit from moving to memory care. She is well taken care of and has a lot of attention on her. She is adored by all of the staff.

I can’t trust myself to live alone anymore. You need to find a new place for me. Those words, spoken from my mom’s hospital bed, threw my brother and me into a whirlwind of activity. We had a rapidly approaching deadline since mom would be discharged to rehab where she would stay for a week. We had two weeks to find someplace Mom could move into. My brother and I made a great team. He was focused on the big picture “ people, community, activity, friendliness, etc. I was focused on details “ affordability, proximity to her church, friends, and the medical network she’d been using for decades. Our search ended when we visited The Chelsea at Brookfield. My brother’s checklist was almost immediately satisfied. We were greeted with the kind of warmth most people reserve for close family. Residents were out-and-about “ enjoying a sunny day on the front porch, mingling with each other in the public indoor areas, or chatting with staff. The activities calendar was clearly posted on the bulletin board and gave us confidence there would be plenty of things for Mom to enjoy. My checklist was also met. The budget could handle the costs. The location is minutes away from Mom’s church and the friends who could provide her a ride to get there. It sits solidly in the St. Luke’s medical network area -- with a clinic just around the corner, if the need was urgent. I admit, I felt like a bad daughter for not taking Mom into my own home. But that changed in an instant one day when Mom and I were out for our weekly lunch date. As we returned and approached The Chelsea, Mom said, It looks like I’m home. Home. Not a home or the home. In one word, Mom summed up life at The Chelsea “ Home.
