My aunt visited Windsor at Celebration a few months ago to look at apartments for my grandmother. She sent us photos and videos with lots of commentary on how wonderful the property was. The rooms looked spacious and clean, the residents and staff we all friendly and looked happy to be there, and the surrounding area was safe and beautiful. Theresa in sales was so professional and knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure that all of our questions and concerns were answered. We truly have peace of mind knowing that if our grandmother chooses to move in here, that she will be very happy and taken care of!

My mother has been a part of the independent living community at Windsor at Celebration for three years. She has loved being a part of this community! Not only is it a beautiful well-maintained facility, but a vibrate supportive community as well. It begins with the welcoming Concierge staff at the front desk. They are always very friendly and helpful- especially Miss Kristy. The Health Navigator is excellent! Nurse Linda amazingly is able to keep up with everyone and make sure that their health needs are met. The community also offers several healthcare programs and incentives, on site lab service, therapy and doctor services and transportation when needed to medical appointments. The restaurant service and staff are wonderful. They provide a variety of choices daily and are constantly seeking and implementing input from the community. The activity staff continues to amaze me! They offer a variety of activities from onsite movies, local outings/ shopping, crafts, Bible studies, themed and holliday activities- lots of fun!. We have been so thankful to have such a vibrant, supportive, friendly community for my mom! I highly recommend it if you are looking for a senior living community in the Celebration area.

Friendly caring staff-from the concierges (especially Kris) to Nurse Linda to the activities coordinators to the transportation drivers and valets! They are the best! Windsor offers a wide range of activities every day. When you walk in it’s like walking into a resort. The rooms are spacious with extra high ceilings and oversized windows in the independent living apartments. Each apartment has a big kitchen and full-size washer and dryer in unit. And after this last hurricane season the facility brought peace of mind knowing that the building was built to withstand the high winds and torrential rains! You’ll be hard pressed to find anything nicer!

Being an "Independent Resident", I will only be able to voice my opinion on that aspect at Windsor at Celebration. I agree with previous postings that Windsor at Celebration is the clearly the best in the central Florida area. My wife and I did an exhaustive exploration of all the facilities that offer Independent, Assisted and Memory Care services in the greater Orlando and Kissimmee area. Windsor at Celebration was the clear choice for us. The maintenance and cleanliness of the building and grounds is impeccable, but not just for "pretty pictures" but for the residents to enjoy the safe, comfortable and pleasant environment. The apartments meet all your needs and are spacious and maintained and cleaned weekly. I could go on about the material aspects and amenities, but that really isn't necessary, anyone touring the facility will see for themselves. It's the Staff and Management of Windsor at Celebration that justifies this 5 star rating. All the Employees and Management are polite, respectful and understanding. Management absolutely does it's best to address every residents individual concerns. What's most impressive is how they work as a team to deliver the utmost quality of living standards achievable for each individual.

WINDSOR at Celebration gives us all a wonderful new "FAMILY" to share the joy of this phase of life. There definitely is no shortage of joy here. On a daily basis, there are so many opportunities to do as much or as little as you want to do. It's your choice. The entire staff here helps us move courageously forward in life, looking at this stage of life with a whole new perspective. We are given a chance to reassess aging and just GO FOR IT with gusto. I have discovered that EVERY department here goes above and beyond to make sure that the residents have the opportunity to look at this new landscape of life with a whole new perspective. The nurse and wellness team... The daily operations and maintenance crew. The culinary team.. Life enrichment activities and programs. The concierge and transportation departments. The resident services on a daily basis.. Sales and marketing team members.. And of course, it begins with the administration. On a daily basis, I am grateful to be a resident here.. I am enjoying every single moment of life after nearly being knocked down with life's challenges. LIFE IS GOOD HERE. I cannot say enough positive about Windsor retirement community. My mother just exited memory care at Windsor and it was a horrible experience. The nurses and aides are wonderful, the office staff is horrific. My mom became to much for them to handle as her memory loss progressed and they wanted me to hire a 24 hour private aide on top of the almost 7k a month we were already paying. My mom was hospitalized and I couldn't get answers. Some newer lady named Tina in charge of the unit that I never met was giving me multiple different answers in the same phone call when she finally did return a call. She was also helping me look for new facilities that would be appropriate for the level of care my mom needed. So I called Irene in the business office to let her know we would be stopping automatic payments since my mom needed to move. She reminded of the 30 notice clause. I questioned why I would be held to pay for those 30 days when windsor was not able to provide the level of care my mom needed which meant Windsor was actually breaking the contract making it null and void. Other facilities I was touring let me know that little gem. This did not sit well with her. She said, "Joel called you this morning and talked to you." I informed that no one named Joel called me at all, that Tina had also misinformed someone about returning a call and perhaps someone needed to talk to their staff about being truthful. At that point Joel did call me to make amends and the conversation went very well. I really do like Joel. Tina has been in charge a few months and has never introduced herself. She never even looks up from the desk when you walk by. It's a shame because the woman before her that they let go was really involved with the families and residents. My mom went into the hospital last Monday and was released on Friday. Because of the good conversation with Joel i decided to give windsor another shot. When she returned over the weekend the phone calls about needing a private sitter started almost immediately. Before the request was because of bathroom issues. This time it was because she was going out the LOCKED doors into the parking lot. How does this happen? The locked doors aren't actually locked, only delayed. If you push the bar for 15 seconds they open. That will cost you thousands of dollars a month for a private sitter. No thank you. I agree, my mom became to much for you to care for. She is now in a place where the doors actually lock even though you told me that wasn't possible because of fire code. Windsor was lovely for independent living, it was okay for assisted living. Memory care isn't bad until you get to the later stages of the disease and they just aren't equipped to handle it. If they were equipped to handle it there would be no need for a private sitter. The staff that works out on the floor is great. The office staff I dealt with seems sneaky and deceitful. I will be forwarding all of this information to Big Rock Management in Beverly Hills because they need to know what's going on in their facilities as I'm sure it impacts their vacancy rate and bottom line. **EDITED to add - I emailed Irene asking for a copy of the contract as I can't find mine and I'm meeting with a lawyer. Guess what? She never replied either. Par for the course! I went to the business office and was able to get one on move out day. **2nd EDIT because I am not able to reply to Windsor's reply. It's cute that Windsor replied for me to contact the executive director because they take their concerns seriously. Windsor has my contact information and I haven't heard a word from them. That statement is just to sound better on Google reviews. What really needs to happen is Big Rock Management needs to contact the executive director to get to the bottom of what is going on in this facility because it is impacting their business and their bottom line. Maybe then positive change will happen.

From the moment you walk in the doors of Windsor at Celebration to the outstanding sales presentation, you feel instantly feels like you are at a wonderful caring place for your loved one to consider. Our sales representative Lynne Kelly was remarkable. This truly is a calling for her and she is able to masterfully speak to the decision points. My Mom moved in 3 weeks after her presentation and tour of Windsor. My whole life my Mom who is living independently has said she would never leave her home. Two months into her living there, I see a renewed spark of vitality in her, she is taking advantage of all the class offerings along with Book Club, Movie Nights and other fun social gatherings. So much is offered at the Windsor from Valet car service, to limo driving to and from each day, to fitness classes, etc... The town of Celebration which this location is nearby within 1.5 miles is so unique and special and easy to get to it with lakes and walking trails surrounding the area. We are thankful my Mom has made her home at Windsor at Celebration!

My toilet is clogged up for the third time in a year. This happened again last night at 5:00 pm. Maintenance had left for the day. It is now 8:00 am the next morning. No one is can help me.

Some reviews Iread were not very kind to the food and food services , which is a little disconcerting. I loved the area of Celebration, but wonder about the congestion outside on hywy 192 and I-4. The residents are a wonderful, appreciative audience and the entertainment Director Cecilia is the best I’ve ever worked with; She is professional, well organized and you can tell she truly cares about all of her residents and the artist to work for her. The staff is friendly and welcoming and events extremely well organized. The facility is stunning!

I can't say enough great things about The Windsor! My mom loves it there. The food is fantastic, which I didn't find at any of the other assisted living places I looked at for my mom when I brought her here from AZ a year ago. The staff is genuinely caring and treat each resident as if they were their own parent. The activites director goes all out to be sure there are loads of things to do within The Windsor as well as planned outings. The parties she plans are like you might experience in a 5 star resort. The Director for the entire facility is great at communicating and always open to suggestions. She is also a very caring and compasonate person. I read some bad reviews and honelsty they must be written by a disgruntled employee as the things they say are just not true. If you are considering independent living, assisted living or memory care for yourself of a loved one I strongly suggest you go visit The Windsor!

Windsor truly does have magic in the air. I’ve taught in several care homes over the years and Windsor is by far the most involved, clean, most accommodating and fun! The building itself feels like a palace, and as the most amenities I’ve ever seen such as pools and rooftop dinning. When I teach the residents here none of them have ever had a bad thing to say, in fact most of them can’t stop talking about how they feel they are on a forever vacation because they are having so much fun everyday and eat very well. The residents have convinced me to want to live here too. I’m most impressed by the way they speak of their activities and staff! Apparently the place is run by a bunch of angels because thats what the residents compare them to constantly haha:) the staff are very sweet, joining them in activities or for walks, no one is ever lonely and everyone is looked after. I’ve also gotten to go to several big events and dine there too. The food is exceptional as I’m sure Walt Disney himself would have had nothing less then satisfactory. And the events were really well done just over the top, the type of gathering the public would generally pay pricey tickets for. And those type of things happen everyday! It’s mind blowing! This is the number one care home I’ve ever been to and I want to go here!
