A beautiful independent and assisted living residence tucked into the peaceful hillside of Merritt. It’s conveniently located near local amenities, including shopping and the Nicola Valley Hospital. The property offers plenty of fresh air, surrounded by rows of lilacs and a spacious garden area. Inside, the facility is open and comfortable, supported by a caring and skilled staff who consistently go above and beyond. I highly recommend The Florentine as a wonderful place for you or your loved ones to enjoy their golden years.

I worry less about my sister since she moved in here. The security seems top notch. The rooms are quiet as far as I can tell. The clients can bring their electric chairs up to the wide hallways, by their rooms, and plug them in. The people who live there seem to look out for each other, and are welcoming. And the icing on the cake are the staff. I haven't interacted with many of them, but Cindy and Lori are wonderful.

Visited our Uncle. What a great retirement home. So welcoming and helpful. I especially love the garden walk and the gazebo view.

Our family has had an amazing experience with my mom living at the Florentine. The staff go above and beyond, they are helpful, kind, warm, fun and community minded. The building and facilities are immaculate, comfortable, bright and very functional. The food is consistently great in terms of quality and variety. 13/10, highly recommend!

I've known several people who have gone to live at the Florentine since it opened. I've heard nothing but good things about this establishment. I've been there many times to visit and found the staff to be friendly, attentive, and the building immaculate. It's got just about everything I would want or need, except a swimming pool, but that's alright, the city has a nice pool 1 klic away.

The Florentine has lots to offer such as spacious units with lots of amenities such as movie theatre, gym, library, craft room, piano room, 3rd floor game room, tv room, hair dressing shop, gift shop, woodwork shop, activities and much more.

Great place for a good price, 3rd floor has a kitchen with coffee and tea. The suites are fairly bare but it's good if you're coming for a visit and want a bed and what not!

Beautiful Independent/Assisted living facility nestled in the hillside of Merritt. Close to amenities like shopping and the Nicola Valley Hospital. Lot’s of fresh air in-between the rows of lilacs and extensive garden area. Very spacious interior with a caring and talented staff who always go the extra mile(or kilometre). I can highly recommend The Florentine as the place to thrive in yours or your loved ones golden years.
