Activities are inclusive and exciting and the whole building gets involved with joy and excitement. The residents become life long friends. My mother wanted to stay in Troy and has now been living at Storypoint in the independent section for 5 years. She has made numerous friends over that time and participates in several of the many activities offered. The staff is always so nice and it is refreshing and comforting to see many of the same faces when I visit. I feel like part of the Storypoint family too. Mom has the best housekeeper, Jack, who cleans her apartment every two weeks. It is so convenient that the beauty shop is on site and there is a laundry room on her floor. Troy if very fortunate to have this senior living community. I never have to worry that Mom will not get the attention she needs and that she is safe.

We have our monthly breakfast meeting at Story Point. The food is always great. The meeting room is very nice. It is always set up for us , when we get there. It's, without a doubt, the best place we have ever held our meetings.

My father has lived at StoryPoint Troy for three years. His apartment is just right for him. Housekeeping does a great job keeping it clean. The caregivers are truly caring and call me when they have any concern. And his care has been tailored to his needs. He has taken advantage of on-site services such as the hair salon, PT, and visiting medical care. StoryPoint plans an abundance of activities and many include family members. We have hosted his birthday parties in the activity room and the staff has made this easy. The staff has also made off-site medical appointments possible by providing transportation and assistsnce. I highly recommend StoryPoint for your loved one!

Our parents have been in their one bedroom independent living unit for just over a year now. The high ceilings and natural light makes the space seem larger, yet it is just perfect for their current needs. Dad no longer feels the burden that comes from having to care for his home. He enjoys the daily "coffee and chat" and live music. Mom enjoys having her hair done in the salon. There are so many opportunities to take part in. We have enjoyed participating in some activities with mom and dad. I believe that helps families with the transition. The staff that comes into their apartment whether to help with routine cleaning or maintenance have always been respectful and accommodating. Dad loves to talk about how delicious his dinners are and how nice it is to have such a great kitchen staff. Most precious are the wonderful ladies who look in on mom and treat her with such tenderness while meeting her medical needs. Dad enjoys getting his morning call from the staff at the front desk to see that all is well. My brother has been impressed with the financial documentation of their expenses. As mom's needs have change Storypoint has offered options and helped connect us with hospice. Dad says he doesn't ever want to move. But as mom will soon being moving to memory care, he has chosen to follow his bride. Storypoint has provided mom and dad with an opportunity to feel safe while enjoying their freedom. It has been a place that has offered a level of care that we as their children have not been able to provide. We never thought dad would leave his home in Enon. But the day of his first visit he was ready to sign a lease. He struggled at first, wanted to go back home. But after a week he decided that was where they should be. Home is where the love is shared. Could there be a better place? We have been truly blessed that our parents have had a home in Storypoint.- photo at sing along

story point and the people who run the facility are great. we recently celebrated our mom's 90th birthday at story point with friends and family. it was my first visit to story point and i was impressed with the design of the interior spaces, lighting, color, art and decor. so inviting. the people living there were lively and friendly who i met in the common spaces and the staff was equally warm to me. our party was a great success and that is largely due to the support i received from the staff. specifically alyssa and jamie. they made it all a pleasure and accommodated all of our needs for the event. i am happy to say that our mom is very happy and safe in this environment and has a very nice apartment she can call home. thank you to everyone at story point for all the great work you do.

I have been blessed to visit this place the past couple of years at Christmas time as the guy in the big red suit! The love this place gives their residents is unmatched! They truly care about the people in your family that you have entrusted their care to. I askari have 2 members of my family that work there and they both say that it is the best job they have ever had. Love seeing how the staff interacts not only with the residents but also with other departments. All department directors are amazing leaders for their respective teams and still take the time to interact with residents on a daily basis when taking breaks from their jobs.

StoryPoint is a great place for me to refer residents to if an assisted living or independent living is what they are wanting. They have brought residents to the facility if they can not get their own transportation for them to look at the facility. Its a gorgeous facility and Im glad to be able to work so well with them.

This is a very beautiful place with many wonderful activities for the residence. The daily meals and special occasion foods are excellent menus. The staff is very friendly and caring. My grandfather and grandmother moved into StoryPoint in Troy last summer. I have been so impressed with their facilities and willingness to help! The assisted living apartment is nice and clean which makes visiting easy. Our family enjoys attending ice cream socials (which are complimentary) and other fun events at the facility. I also have a one year old who enjoys visiting too.About 6 months ago my grandfather passed away. The staff was so thoughtful and brought a whole buffet of breakfast food to my grandmas room for her and any guests that might be visiting. I will never forget that! After my grandfather passed I was worried that my grandmother would not be able to stay in assisted living by herself but the staff works extra hard to be able to keep her in her apartment and happy. I am so glad my grandparents chose StoryPoint.

My parents moved to Storypoint in October 2019. Our family visits quiet often. Because of the welcoming environment, nice rooms and great food, even the grandkids and great grandkids look forward to their weekly visits. The great grandchildren tell my mother they want to live there too because she gets to do all kinds of cool activities and the food is GREAT! From my perspective, the staff are caring, the environment is clean and they food is very good. We do not regret our decision to move my parents here.

I checked into StoryPoint 5 days ago for Resite care. Thirty days of rehab for a broken hip. EVERYONE here jumped through multiple hoops to get a furnished room for me quickly and settled in. The executive director Kristin , the community specialist Ashley, Ben the chef and Mandy the Wellness Director, and Matt were my first contacts to this amazing community and I moved in sight unseen. I have my own big bedroom and wheelchair accessible bathroom. The staff stops by and introduces themselves to me, some even sit and chat. Coming here to heal was the best decision Ive made since my injury. Im only 52 and this could have been a really tough transition. I highly recommend StoryPoint. The facility is beautiful and they even have independent apartments for retirees. I cant thank these people enough for bathing and feeding me every day. I may write an article about my experience here. All in all, its been very fun and interesting! I can go to the Bistro for coffee or the salon to get my hair done. Tomorrow is wheelchair volleyball, I may even spike it!! lol The residents all seem well taken care of and happy. If youre looking for a retirement community in Ohio I cant imagine one better than this little secret in Troy. If you need short respite care like me this place is ideal. If I need assisted living in my future I would definitely consider StoryPoint.

StoryPoint in Troy hosts our monthly A.C.T.I.O.N. Amputee Group Meetings in their Theatre Room! Their staff is always willing to help set up the room and prepare wonderful appetizers and drinks! We cant say enough how blessed we feel to have our meetings at StoryPoint in Troy!

At the Walk to End Alzheimers for Miami County I encountered a large group from Storypoint. They were all in very good spirits and enthusiastic toward the cause. The following week I took a tour of the facility and it really is a beautiful place. Its definitely worth checking out!

I recently made a visit to StoryPoint Troy. The first thing I noticed while walking in was how clean it was. No body wants their family member living in a dump. The staff there was top notch. They were very professional when answering my questions. They also offered me the opportunity to eat in the bistro. I wish I could eat that great of food everyday! Wow! I am 100% certain my family and I made the right decision for our loved one to live there.

The staff is key to my 5 star rating, while the building is beautiful, it is the people that make the experience. Everyone you pass in the halls is friendly and has a look of not only being willing to help but wanting to help. This mentality and happy demeanor caries over from the staff onto the residence as well. The community just feels like a place to call home and a great place to work.

Story Point has been a blessing for my sister! We had a difficult situation with her, but they moved her in and have taken excellent care of her ever since. The staff is professional yet caring. The food is good and the facilities are well maintained. They have all kinds of activities and events available for the residents, too. I highly recommend it!
