Couldn't ask for a better place or better, more caring and attentive staff, for my brother, who has Lewy Body Dementia. Aleshia, Director, and Marlena (Nicki) especially, treat residents like family. They go out of their way to help with anything you may need. Over the last 4 years he has been in several Care Communities. Mill Creek Manor far exceeds all of them.

I had a great experience during my tour. The staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. You can tell they truly care about what they do and the people they serve. The management team was just as impressive organized, attentive, and very knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable, answered all my questions, and created a positive, inviting atmosphere. Overall, it was a wonderful visit, and I left feeling confident about the quality of care and leadership here.

As a third-party vendor who has been coming to this community for years, I’ve had the opportunity to see it through many different phased, and the change in leadership recently has been nothing short of remarkable. The difference is noticeable the moment you walk through the doors. The atmosphere feels lighter, brighter, and more welcoming. The staff now carry a sense of pride and positivity that wasn’t always there before. You can truly tell they want to be here, and that energy flows throughout the entire building. The management team has clearly set a strong, supportive tone that reflects in both the team’s morale and the overall environment. It’s refreshing to witness such a positive transformation. This community is moving in a great direction, and it shows in every interaction and every visit.

LaRonda has been so wonderful helping us during a stressful situation. My father just arrived and she has been giving me updates and photos. Yes thank you to all that was made aware of my situation and taking the time to read the post i had sent. Since the post there has been progressive movement towards the right path of reconciliation and a solution for the better. It has not been a full 24 hrs before the issue went through the proper channels and resources to make this problem fixed. I thank the staff and high directors for their speedy response to the matter at hand. I appreciate it going forward and a plan is in motion for the proper maintenance to be conducted. I will be updated with vital information in the coming days to making this more comfortable especially for my Aunt, which was the sole purpose behind all of this whom I Love deeply. I am more relived knowing that if ever an issue to come up there is no delay in time with the responding of it from the management side. I will gladly respond back once all the systems are go and things are in better order and operation of the unit. Greatly Appreciated of your time.

We are thrilled to have found Mill Creek Manor for my aging father. The staff and care teams have shown him exceptional care and support, have been extremely responsive, compassionate, and caring toward our whole family as our father adjusts to this transition of no longer being able to live alone. We were worried he would hate assisted living. In fact, he once told us he would never go, and yet he is settling in very nicely thanks to the kind and competent staff. Would recommend it to anyone.

My mother has been at Mill Creek for a few weeks now and I am very optimistic about her care here going forward. Whenever I reach out to Laronda she makes sure our concerns and questions are addressed and validated. She really goes the extra mile to make sure my mother’s okay. I don’t know what I would do without Laronda! So far everyone seems friendly and takes care of momma. I hope my mom continues to feel good about her environment and our relationship with Mill Creek only grows more positive going forward.

In difficult circumstances, such as placing a loved one in someone else’s care, the person that I wish for everyone to have would be Laurie Patton. She has the most calm, compassionate demeanor, also experienced and so professional. Mill Creek Manor has a jewel in Laurie. She has been a blessing to me, and has a knack for making everything seem easier.

I’ve noticed a positive shift in the community since the recent change in upper management. While it sometimes takes a little time for changes to fully take effect, I can already see improvements happening day by day. I’m optimistic about what’s to come and excited to see how these changes continue to make a difference!

Mill Creek Manor on Polo Road exceeded all expectations during my mother's transition to assisted living. Despite needing to move two weeks earlier than planned, the staff handled everything seamlessly, and their pricing is competitive within the Columbia metro area. The entire team - from the cafeteria staff to nurses, travel manager, and executive director - has shown exceptional care. Special recognition goes to Laurie and Darren who, though new, provided exceptional guidance and communication throughout the process. After two weeks here, I'm confident my mother is receiving outstanding care. Most importantly, this experience has given me peace of mind about her wellbeing. Did I mention that Laurie is amazing! I highly recommend Mill Creek Manor for anyone seeking quality assisted living/memory care for their loved ones.

My mother entered assisted living about 3 years ago and has since progressed to memory care. She's now qualified for additional hospice care. She's consistently been well cared for, even with a few fainting spells and falls. The facility is always bright, clean and cheery. The food is healthy and tastey in my opinion. Prices are very fair and the location is easy to drive to. She likes it there and we're very confident that she's in good hands. I consider it a difficult job that these folks do, so glad to have them.

My sister has been here for 3 years, and has good care. The food is pretty good and the care is consistent. They have good transportation for doctor visits, and they have setup for vaccines. My sister had shingles and they caught it by routine checking and gave her an anti-viral quickly, so her shingles lasted a short time. They do her laundry which is very helpful. They go on several "outings" a month and have exercise and games.

Independent adult residence living is very enjoyable. Freedom to go and do as u please and come home to a beautiful secure home .there are many benefits here you choose what you care to use. Last but my no means least the mgmt. Here are like family and open to you no matter what you may need. This is something sometimes family is too busy to do. With all those things they have going on in their own lives. Living here is enjoyable and comfortable.
