Independant senior apartments, assisted living and memory care. It is an intimate community, where strong bonds are formed with caregivers and residents. Clients I have assisted in locating homes, were pleased with their choice in Regency Place, Marking Director, Serena Marquez is a gem! My mom was diagnosed with vascular dementia, so I started looking for a care home for her and my step-dad. Regency Place has been fantastic from day 1! The director, Emma, gave us a tour and made us feel welcome. We were invited to a group even which was a circus, complete with performers and popcorn! My parents have now moved in and and working on getting settled. Not only is the staff very warm and accommodating, but the other residents are also fun and welcoming. We moved my mom into Regency Place several months ago. (She was previously living in one of the supposed "upscale" senior living facilities.) I am so very glad we moved her! The staff at Regency is so kind and caring. They work to help the seniors build relationships with one another, while also building a relationship with the seniors themselves. The activities director truly work hard to get the seniors involved with activities they enjoy. My mom continues to rave about the food (unlike the fancier establishment she was in.) It is such a relief to know my mom is well cared for and happy. Finally, I appreciate how easy it is to communicate with the staff. Regency Place is certainly a hidden gem.

My family’s experience so far with Regency Place has been quite positive. The nursing staff have been very responsive to the needs of our loved one and have worked well with our family as he has settled into living at Regency over the past two months. Emma was most helpful as we were first learning about Regency Place and provided an excellent tour that introduced us to key staff and allowed us to view all parts of the facility that were important to see. Her follow-up as questions occurred to us was excellent. Regency offers shuttle service to medical appointments on selected days of the week, which is important when we are unable to drive our loved one to appointments and staff have been able to monitor him on defined schedule, which has provided us with important peace of mind. Finally, we were impressed with how attractive Regency Place is and how well-maintained it is. We appreciate Regency Place.

My dad has lived at Regency Place for six years. He started out in Assisted Living and was one of the first to move into the brand-new Memory Care area when it opened a year later. I visited a ton of sites, and none were the right fit. The minute I walked into Regency, everything felt right. It is a true community that my dad and I have grown to love very much. Let me start with the caregivers, Fazia, Sharma, and Lata have gone beyond the call of duty with my dad. He has required additional attention with showers and transfers from bed to chair, to dining. They have helped him to keep as mobile as possible with their kindness and encouragement. I honestly feel as though they have been protective over him when I was maybe pushing PT a little too much . Rosten, Romel, Ralph, Margie, and Daniel all make regency a great place to live. Their caring and professionalism are unparalleled. Liz, the Executive Director is a beautiful person with a beautiful heart. She genuinely cares about the residents and families. Evelyn from corporate has always been close to our hearts as she was the first person we met at Regency, and we always feel as though she is looking out for us. There are many other staff at Regency who take care of my dad, clean his room, prepare his meals, and look out for him. This review is only so long so I can’t name them all, but you know who you are, and I want to say Thank you! Jane “ my self claimed sister - Because of you my dad’s latter years have been filled with so much activity, fun, love, respect, and silliness. Sometimes I am shocked that my 85-year-old dad goes out more often than I do. He goes to lunch, on boat rides, to plays, shopping, the casino, theatre, concerts, not to mention Happy Hour every Friday with musical guest who perform and drinks and snacks. The annual Halloween party is not to be missed! He also has participated in the water aerobics classes during the summer and the numerous parties and events on site. You, Jane, keep that place happening and I have no idea how you do all that you do. Regency, all the residents, my dad and I are so lucky to know you - thank you for caring so much about all the residents. p.s. you are and always have been the favorite

They are on the independent side so I don't know have much interaction with the staff but the ones who do answer the gate are always friendly and the property is always clean. They love the staff they interact with and the community they've built. This is their first time in apartments after 25+ years of being homeowners and have adjusted well.

Liz, the Director, was very accommodating for our short stay. It’s obvious she takes pride in the facility. Highly recommend for assisted living and memory care. Had my mom here for a year and loved the staff and facility. Unfortunately, her declining state and cost of care required her to move to another home. Liz, the manager, is great. She really worked with me and my family to ensure my mom was cared for up until the moment she let; even working with the next place to ensure a smooth transition of care. The Regency Place brought a sense a peace to me knowing mom was loved by the staff and treated with such.

My dad took up residency about 2 months ago and is enjoying it very much. He is 99 and was living on his own, but began forgetting to eat, among other things. Now, he eats 3 nutritious meals a day, while enjoying the company of other residents in the Dining Room. The staff is great and are available if needed, or just to spend a few minutes chatting with him. Socializing with others who are experiencing the same life situations has proven to be even more beneficial than expected. The friendly and supportive staff and residents refer to Regency Place as a community and I couldn't agree more!

My dad has lived at Regency Place for a year and he loves it. He calls the team there his second family and we feel the same way. The meals are always a hot topic as the chef there is really great! My dad never misses a meal! Ha! Ha! Everyone is so kind and goes out of their way to make my dad feel special. He isn't interested in playing poker or card games and the activities director Jane took the extra time to find out what his interests are. He loves movies so she made him the movie coordinator for movie nights. Wow! He just lights up when we have talks about what movie he and the group are choosing for that day! I get bi-weekly check-in calls from the director with any news and making sure I know my dad is doing great. They have also done a stellar job during the pandemic making sure the residents are healthy and safe. The team at Regency goes above and beyond to not only make my dad feel at home but us as well. I am so glad we found Regency Place!

These past couple of years have been very difficult for my family and my 86 yr old father, although my father has his cognitive mind he has continued to fall multiple times and unable to get himself up. We found The Regency Place, Jon, the Director has worked steady with us to meet all of my fathers needs such as the appropriate room, the distribution of dads medication, 3 meals a day and dad can even take his little doggie. Thanks to Jon, there have been no obstacles in our way to accomplish this huge transition. Thank you Jon!

I love Regency Place and their excellent staff. My Mom has lived there for two years and loves it. The staff are so sweet and caring. And she absolutely loves the meals that are provided. She's made friends while dining with others in their lovely dining room, and playing games like bingo, dominos and cards. There is a huge library of books and puzzles that she takes full advantage of. The staff do light cleaning for her, (even laundry) and the facility as a whole is spotless & elegant. Last, but not least, I appreciate how the Regency staff has handled the Pandemic, keeping their residents safe from exposure and providing vaccinations at the facility. My mother has told me that she never wants to leave Regency Place.

Wow, what an incredible Community. I've toured other places and once in a while you will find a Community that comforts you more than the others, and this was one of them. It truly felt like a big family and don't even get me started on that outside courtyard--it felt like you were walking in an enchanted, beautiful forest. My 99-year-old mother-in-law has been a happy resident of Regency Place for 14 years. Last month she had to move from her two-bedroom independent living apartment to an assisted living unit. Regency Place staff went beyond the call of duty to help her get settled in her new unit. Staff helped my husband and me remove extra furniture and decor items that wouldn’t fit. They are dedicated, cheerful and compassionate people whom we trust to help care for my mother-in-law. Regency Place is the best of several senior residences I have visited in my various elder care experiences.

Just as the pandemic started, I had to find a place for my 88 year old mother to live due to her health concerns. I virtually toured several places to include Regency Place. I found the management and ancillary staff at Regency to be sympathetic and reassuring that she would receive the best care possible. The attention and details they paid to ensure their residents and staff remained virus free during the most critical part of the pandemic was commendable. My mother has expressed how the staff has gone over and above to accommodate her on various issues. The decision I made to place my mother in Regency Place allows me to sleep at night without a concern for my mothers care.

As my father said, it was love at first sight touring Regency Place. He loved everything about community from the apartment to the landscape surroundings and especially the food! As I helped my parents navigate this new transition, I very much appreciated all of the time and attention provided by Regency Place executives/staff to ensure that the independent living apartment met my parents needs, that we thoroughly understood the contract and necessary paperwork and that all of our questions were answered and any concerns were addressed. Long story short - last year we we needed to relocate my 94 year old aunt closer to family in Sacramento. Regency was by far the best option we found. The residents practically sell the place for them - everyone we met was so pleased to live there. The staff was also very warm and welcoming - we were asked to stay and enjoy a meal with the residents, sit with them, eat the same food. The dining room, as well as the entire facility, was bright, clean, and well cared for. When we moved my aunt, they let me stay in her room overnight to help her with the transition. Everyone was so accommodating! Two weeks later, COVID shut the world down, and the Regency staff stepped up. They immediately took all necessary precautions to protect the residents and went above and beyond to make sure we still had access to our aunt (albeit via facetime or from the other side of a closed window in the dining room instead of in person). They also have sent us regular communications and updates throughout, so we're in the know. I can't thank them all enough for everything they've done on my aunt's behalf over the past year, and I can't recommend their facility highly enough for anyone who is the market for an assisted living facility. It's a difficult choice to make, but I'm so grateful that Regency is the place we settled on.

My mother has been a resident at Regency Place for 7 years. She is very pleased with the entire facility. She receives excellent meals every day and that is saying a lot as she used to be a very good cook at home when she was younger. She also enjoys the activities that are provided to include exercises classes, Bingo, games and the Friday Happy Hour with live entertainment and refreshments. We are very impressed with the cleanliness of all areas of the facility. There is a wonderful staff member who thoroughly cleans her one bedroom apartment once a week. The apartment is very large for one bedroom, complete with a full kitchen and and she enjoys being able to look at the beautiful view of the grounds from her front window. The most impressive thing about Regency Place is their staff. They are always friendly, efficient and helpful. I would strongly recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for the perfect place to spend their later years in the company of incredible, caring people. Lucie - Daughter

My mom has been a resident at Regency Place for over a decade, and we unfortunately need to move her because we are going to relocate out of state. I want to thank the director Harumi and her staff for the compassion and care that they show every day. They have given us peace of mind many times, and have become an extension of our family. Some of the highlights have been Chef Rommel's famous cooking shows, Jane's journeys with Ralph to various cool places, holiday celebrations, gardening, live music, and all the events and daily activities. Although 2020 saw most of these put on hold, the memories last and I know they will be back to all of that as soon as they can. I also want to give a holler out to Daniel & Ryan at the front desk for being so helpful as well. I highly recommend Regency, and will miss everyone!

My Aunt who had been living by herself for many years in the bay area and she lost her son last year. MY daughter and I researched different assisted living places in Sacramento and found Regency who is close to my house to visit and oversee her care. They have done a good job taking care of the residents during Covid pandemic with keeping us updated on how their doing. Before the Pandemic i got to visit my aunt and attend some fun acrivities they had. The staff and care workers are always nice and helpful. Im glad my Aunt there i dont have to worry about her care.

Even though I am an RN and have worked in management of facilities myself, it was a hard decision to place my mother in law in an assisted living facility. After having had a poor experience in a board and care, we looked for a forever home for her, where daily socialization and activities, nutritious and appetizing meals and a feeling of safety and attention to detail would help her thrive. We put our trust into Regency Place and we feel like she finally has arrived. I cannot say enough positive things about the Executive Director of this facility. The entire process of establishing contact, touring and coming to a decision has been made easy by professional staff, prompt follow up and an overall can do’ attitude. Mom is now in a beautiful and super clean, bright room, is enjoying wholesome and freshly prepared meals, has only good things to report about the staff and is actually looking forward to the next chapter of her life. No facility is perfect all the time. But this place keeps lines of communication open, responds promptly and embraces each new challenge with consideration for the resident and their family. I can wholeheartedly recommend Regency Place.
