My sister has been at Legacy for 2 nice months now for assisted living. From move in to the daily care and atmosphere, we've had a very good experience. The daily medical care has been excellent, the staff is attentive, responsive and very welcoming.

5/4: Scheduled a 2pm tour from my retired parents who were visiting from out of town using the online scheduling tool on their website. I received an email confirmation for the scheduled tour and a text confirmation as well. Three days later we showed up for our tour and they had no idea we were coming. The guide showed up 10 minutes after the scheduled start time and she informed us that they only had 20 minutes because they had booked another tour during our scheduled time. This is inexcusable for an organization at this price point. If they can't handle basic tour scheduling for prospective customers, I certainly don't trust them to take care of my parents. Do not recommend. 5/18 Update: The office followed up, to let me know that the issue was with the online scheduling system. Apparently there was an internal conflict (bug) with a reservation I made at another facility that has the same parent company (and same scheduling software). Pretty big systemic failure. I was pleased that they took the time to research the problem and sent a follow-up. Hopefully they fix it. Adding one star for the follow-up effort. Only one chance to make a first impression!

If I could give 10 stars I would. I visited 7 facilities before deciding on Legacy so you can imagine how high my expectations were but they have blown me away. Every employee I’ve encountered has been exceptional, showing tremendous love and compassion to all the residents and visitors. The team has created an atmosphere where your loved ones can thrive and feel loved and cared for and you can see it in the residents who are engaged, joyful, and supportive of one another. We toured the day staff and residents were celebrating seven years of existence. All staff were appropriately friendly and competent especially our tour guide. The medical support team on site exceeded the other two facilities my wife and I visited.

My dear "Auntie Mom" is currently at this facility and she seems very happy. In my recent visit with her over a period of four days, I was impressed with everything about this place. I only ate two meals there but the food was good with lots of choices. For some, the portions may be a little small. When my aunt first went there in January, there was a chef who left shortly after. For a period the food was not so good but it has improved. I believe management tries to rectify problems as they are brought to their attention. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. I especially want to give to Mel! She is a gem! The only reason I gave only 4 stars was because of the food. For a facility this size I have to say the food is adequate. I would recommend this place and if I lived in CO I would consider it for myself.

The move process at Legacy was marvelous. They allowed us access and were helpful in setting up the memory care room. When we arrived, the staff immediately got my wife involved in activities. The first day went as well as anyone could have expected.

We really enjoyed the tour. It’s such a beautiful location and everyone seems so welcoming and friendly . I love the fact that you can get food anytime so it works with anybody’s schedules..WhenI am ready to move to senior living. I’ll definitely keep the Legacy at Castle Pineso on the top of my list of choices.

My dad spent the last 6 months of his life in the Memory Care at Legacy Village, and my family and I couldn't have been more grateful. There's the obvious eye candy of the nice building, the light and bright hallways, the good food, the clean and nice rooms, etc. I've seen those things in other facilities hide what really matters. The care at Legacy Village was incredible. I can't imagine how difficult of a job that is, and the care takers for my dad were amazing. First off, there were always so many. He had been at another facility where the resident to care taker ratio was absurd, but at Legacy Village he always had eyes on him. More than just care for him, I believe this whole staff cared about him. So many came to visit him his last few days when he was confined to his room. They texted me photos they had taken with him over the months. They genuinely cared. His needs were always well met. Food was great, room was private and clean, his physical needs were always attended to graciously. So many activities were available to him. Crafts, music, walking in the beautiful secured courtyard, etc. His previous facility they sat him in front of a TV for 12 hours a day. Legacy Village exercised him both physically, socially, and intellectually. Yes, it's expensive. It's worth it. We couldn't have asked for a better place for him to spend his final months.

I doubt if any retirement community can achive 5 stars. Too many moving parts that are experienced first hand and 'ya can't please everyone.

We looked everywhere for a classy comfortable memory care place for Dad. He is not easy to deal with. Legacy staff goes beyond for residents and family. Sock Hop and Turkey Dinner were a hit. Thank you!

I am a resident here at Castle Pines. I have seen the slow deterioration of quality of life here including food service. Medications, in the past, were delivered in a timely manner, not so now!!! Take last night as an example, meds were delivered at 10:30 pm with no apology from staff, in fact when criticized for the lateness, the person got quite nasty nasty!!

The loving care and kindness given to our mom during her time at Legacy Village exceeded expectations. From move-in day through her final days in hospice, we received many special gifts of warmth and attention. I am so grateful for all the help from everyone at legacy village. We have had such a complicated journey and they have been nothing but compassionate and sweet to our grandparents and to us the entire time. Lisa in particular has been an angel to us. She has hand delivered Gatorade to grandma to help dehydration and she has been there every step of the way for me. Thank you legacy village for guiding us through this difficult time. Nearly a year ago, my sisters and I found ourselves suddenly in search of an assisted community for our parents. Mom and Dad had been on a waiting list elsewhere, but following a hospital stay, they needed someplace immediately that could provide consistent care at a greater level than we had previously prepared for. And we knew it needed to be an exceptional community to keep Mom happy, as she faced leaving their home of 50 years so suddenly. We looked at several options, when a friend suggested we visit a new Senior Living community in Castle Pines. From the moment we walked through the doors at Legacy Village, we knew this was the right place for us. The talented caregivers and staff at Legacy Village came to our rescue and helped us confidently and quickly transition into their community. Mom and Dad's apartment is beautiful with lovely views of the nearby open space paths and hills; the courtyard is a favorite place where they can enjoy the outdoors, visit with friends, or work in the flower beds and boxes--which Mom enjoys. There are ample activities and outings that our parents make the most of--they loved all the holiday events. The dining room is quiet and elegant with friendly attendants who have made a point to get to know our parents personally--and we enjoy sharing meals with them when we visit. The entire staff is consistent, attentive, and personable at every level, including the director Rachel who has happily made time for us when needed. If new issues ever arise with Mom or Dad, we know that Jennifer or one of the other staff at Legacy will call immediately to work with us on solutions. They promised they would take good care of our parents, and they have gone above what we expected. I can't imagine having chosen any place better for Mom and Dad to live, and my family is at peace knowing we never need worry because our parents are well cared for and thriving.

What an Amazing New Community in Castle Pines! We were greeted so warmly by everyone we met. The Caregivers genuinely care about all the residents! We enjoy eating in the Dining and spending time there every visit. So welcoming and so many activities for the residents. State of the art Community with a Gorgeous Design! What a wonderful place for retired senior individuals.

I cannot understand how people can write 1 star reviews for a facility that has not even opened, that they have not even seen, much less seen the staff or the people living there. ...Maybe it is simply an expression of their personal frustration. ...Anyways, I recently visited the facility and even though there are still very few residents because it just opened, I found the facility beautiful, warm, and inviting. I intend to bring my mother to visit. UPDATE 9/2018 - I visited 5 different facilities with my mom and she chose this one. I think it will be a perfect fit for her.

It is a beautiful facility, but the caring, kind staff is what makes this place stand out. We are so thankful that they opened up this lovely place.

Awesome team with many years of experience. You can not tour the community as it’s not ready yet. However, when you are able you will get a very thorough and senior friendly approach. This team is all about choice and will fairly share what the offer so you are able to make the best choice for yourself or family member.
