My mother is approaching her three year anniversary of living at Park Terrace. She is very happy and loves the daily activities. All three meals are supplied with a resort style or cruise ship style format. She loves the social aspect of daily activities and dinning with new friends. I have dinned with her several times and can state that the food is excellent, the dinning staff and all of the support staff are great. Great job Park Terrace.

They go above and beyond, the whole staff at Park Terrace. Rhoda is so personally invested in her clients; Geno; Ito; Reina: Mario: Juana…the staff from managers to admin, from GM to support teams, are truly as caring as for their own family members. My Dad got Covid in Jan. 2021. They watched him hourly during his first 7 days, then knew it was time to have him transported to Mission Hospital, then Laguna Hills Rehab Hospital. He needed to be gone a full month, but when he returned to Park Terrace and his wife of 30 years, it was an epic day! The staff met him out front with balloons, and banners, took my camera inside to take pictures of our folks as though it was their wedding day! There isn't enough money in the world to equal the quality of care and the peace of mind received from the staff of Park Terrace.

My mother Helen has been a resident at Park Terrace for nearly 5 years. Despite her Alzheimer's disease, the care and support provided by the staff have been exceptional. The caregivers show genuine compassion and patience in their interactions, ensuring her comfort and well-being. The facility itself is well-maintained, creating a warm and homely atmosphere. The activities tailored for residents with memory impairments are thoughtful and engaging, stimulating her mind and bringing moments of joy to her days. The professionalism and dedication of the entire team, from nurses to administrators, have made this challenging journey much more manageable for both my mother and our family. I especially commend Memory Care Director Rhoda Alfafara and staff Ada and Avis for their tremendous efforts. I highly recommend Park Terrace for its outstanding care, compassion, and commitment to their residents.

Park Terrace made the transition from my father in law living alone for 30 years to assisted living so much better than he expected. After just a few weeks, we noticed that he was talking about the activities and meal times like he enjoyed them; especially the desserts. A few months later, he decided on his own to add the laundry service and wow, is feels like his life is much easier now. After having lived at Park Terrace for almost four years, I would recommend this senior living home to anyone wanting more than just an apartment complex. They promote "Resort Style Living!" And it truly is. Located in beautiful Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. there is sunshine nearly every day. Very close by is the Rancho Santa Margarita Lake with its wide sidewalk circling it. The lake has several dozens of geese, ducks and Herons the year around adding to the beauty of Mt. Saddleback (>4000') in the background. The city's central park is adjacent to the property. Social hours are offered three times a week. Guests can join residents for the social hours and entertainment at no extra charge. Three meals are served each day with a choice of two dining rooms - and another during the warm months out by the swimming pool courtyard! Multiple care givers are there full-time to tend to those with health needs. All residents have priority for occupying an apartment in one of four cottages holding ten residents each. Each cottage includes one to three care-givers (24/7) for those with cognitive impairment. The main apartment complex is small enough to permit signing up for activities and tours without having to do so days or weeks in advance. Still, the complex is large enough that by staying nearly full the monthly rates are reasonable for the value provided. Park Terrace is a wonderful place to finish out one's life.

Park Terrace is a wonderful place for mom/grandma. Currently she is in the assisted living part of the facility and as time goes on she is requiring additional assistance with personal care, mobility and overall well being. The staff is kind, courteous and sincerely concerned about the residents. They keep us informed should any issues arise and go the extra mile to make mom's living situation safe and secure. The meals and amenities are top notch as well. Residents are able to do excursions off site and there are activities on property including Holiday celebrations, live music and a host of things to enjoy. We are grateful to Park Terrace staff for providing a safe and secure place for mom.

I am part of the Orange County Animal Allies team the provides therapy dogs once a month to the residents. I have seen first hand how the residents enjoy the facilities and the recreational opportunities that are provided. But above the physical space what makes this place special is the caring staff many of whom have been here quite some time. If you are looking for this type of living arrangement I highly recommend it.

My grandmother has lived at Park Terrace for 5 years. We were anxious about the move, it is a big adjustment from living independently and my grandmother was scared about not being able to enjoy life as freely as she had before. Flash forward, and the rocky adjustment that me and my family feared was never an issue. My whole family, my grandmother included, never realized how much we worried about her living alone until she didnt anymore. It was such a relief to know that she had friends and staff just moments away at all times, that we didnt have to worry about some disaster while she was alone in her house with no one to come help her.She was worried about compromising on her freedoms, like her own schedule and likes, dislikes, but instead of restrictions my grandmother has found nothing but happiness—she still can live independently, there arent people barking at her to follow their schedule. She jokes that she has a more active social life than I do—and Ive seen pictures from the trips and I have to agree. I wish I got to go out to lunch and to the beach with my friends as often as she does!

It is bitter sweet that I move on from my Director position at Park Terrace. My time as a team member of this community has been an amazing experience from start to finish. I have been in this industry for just under 10 years now and this team is far above all I have seen. The Executive Director Geno has a way of motivating and holding accountable each member of the team in a supportive and compassionate way. From top management to the caregivers, medtechs, activities dept, and all the wonderful staff at Park Terrace you will find professional, friendly, and almost a family type atmosphere. I am a Chaplain for Sea Crest Hospice and I visit weekly singing and encouraging the residents, and they love Park Terrace. Of course it is challenging during this Pandemic, and visits are outside patio visits, but the staff is doing a wonderful job caring for the physical, spiritual, and psycho-social needs of the residents. First class all the way!

I have been a hospice nurse for a few years now, and during that time I have travelled to so many different senior living communities and care facilities that I couldnt possibly count them all. Park Terrace is definitely one of the better ones Ive had the experience of working with. The nursing staff is caring, capable and a pleasure to coordinate care with. It really feels like were on the same team, with the same goal-- and that goal is the best care and quality of life possible.The dementia and alzhemiers cottages are especially exceptional and unique. Most memory care units do not offer outside activities, due to safety and security concerns. Park Terrace has found a way to allow seniors in that unit to freely enjoy outside activities in a well maintained and supervised courtyard.Before I was a hospice nurse, I worked eight years at a living facility and it was always heartbreaking to tell patients in those units that we didnt have a space for them to safely enjoy outdoor activities. It seems like such a small thing, but the ability to go out and sit on a bench in the sun and watch the birds is something that we take for granted until you cant do it anymore

I cant say enough nice things about the staff. I was told by one of my favorite med techs that he was the most difficult patient she had seen in her 15 year history at Park Terrace. She loved him like her own father and was patient even when was behaving terribly. Karen went out of her way to help us get everything out of his rooms after he passed. If you want your loved one treated well, Park Terrace is the place.

I do homework on senior living communities and then make recommendations to families based on my research. I have been super impressed with park terrace. They not only offer all the amenities excepted of a senior living community, but they more importantly offer a very warm, family like care environment.Ive now had a number of families move their loved on to Park Terrace based on my recommendation and they have been very happy with their experience.The other neat thing - Park Terrace has multiple levels of care so that an individual can age in place as their needs progress and not have to move around from place to place interrupting the care theyre receiving.Definitely 5 stars!

My mother has lived at Park Terrace Assisted Living for 2.5 years, and is very happy with her new home. The staff is so kind & caring, its very reassuring for us. In addition, Moms doctor is familiar with many Assisted Living facilities in O.C., & has told us that shed be very comfortable having a loved one living at Park Terrace due in no small part to the resident, staff interaction shes observed.They have many activities & outings for residents & their families. The food in the restaurant & Bistro is delicious. The facilities and grounds are beautiful and well maintained.We have been very pleased with Park Terrace, and would recommend you consider them when the need arises.

We could not be happier with Park Terrace, but more importantly, our mother-in-law loves it. The staff is as friendly as you can get, the facility is immaculate and beautifully designed, they offer ample activities and field trips, the dinning room is lovely and serves extraordinary food and the grounds are well manicured and plush. If this wasnt enough, the cost is more than reasonable, regardless of the level of care. After two other facilities that were good, but not remarkable, we are grateful to have found Park Terrace and could not recommend them highly enough.
