I've worked in this community for 17 years I love it here from the residents, to the whole citrus place team the love and care that goes into everything here you can feel it as soon as you walk into the door. The Dining team is amazing.!!!! My father was in a facility that was subpar. We were in need of a place for him to call home and have an appropriate setting to meet his needs. From the moment we made contact with Aurora (sales) to the meeting we had with Vicky (Executive Director) to finalize his lease, we were immensely pleased with their desire to make both my father and myself feel comfortable with his transition. The food was fabulous, there are many activities for my father to choose from to encourage socializing with other residents. I also look forward to seeing him become more active by utilizing the gym and pool. On our two visits, he was warmly greeted by residents and staff alike. The end of the month can't come soon enough, so he can start this new chapter of his life at Citrus Grove! I cannot not end this review with out mentioning the fact that we shared our budget and it was respected.

I recently took a tour of Citrus Place Senior Living in Riverside. We are looking for a place for my 86 year old mother who is currently living alone. Aurora Wilson met with me and went over the options they had. She was pleasant, caring and very knowledgeable. She provided me with pricing and information, then took me on a tour of the apartments, pointing out all the activities. She was friendly with all the residents we met along the way. It was a very positive experience and we will definitely consider Citrus Place when making our final decision!

Very nice facility with good staff, good food, clean rooms and corridors. But the TV system is so complicated that many residents, especially those with poor eyesight, can't operate it… Eighty and 90 year old folks dont need a smart TV with Streaming services and 100s of channels. Many nights my mother sits staring at 4 walls because she can't get TV on. And that is her primary source of entertainment in the evening.

My Dad has been living here for over 3 years and he loves the staff, they look after him well, the other residents are very friendly. The staff accommodates him well, he tells me that he is very happy living here. BTW, he is 96 and is still able to live on the independent living side. We give God all the glory

On behalf of my entire family I want to take a moment to thank and recognize Dora Nazar. The compassion and kindness she gave throughout the time my Mom was under her teams care meant everything to my family. We knew that her team was a reflection of her leadership and it showed. When you are in a position where you have to entrust the care and wellbeing of a loved one to someone else, it can be scary and unsettling. We never had a concern because we had Dora. Our family valued her opinion and her guidance because it was truthful and had my Moms best interests at heart. Dora made my Dad feel special and like he was a part of the Citrus Place family and for that I am also grateful. In what was a difficult year and transition for him, she was a bright spot. I received a tour of the property today, and I was very impressed. Aurora was a great guide and she was very informative. The residents all appeared to be happy and the facilities were clean and spacious. I will definitely be considering Citrus Place as a potential facility for my elderly mother.

I just signed my grandma up for here, so far it feels great. When you first walk in for the tour it reminded me of a cruise ship. Aurora assisted us with the tour and signing her up. She was amazing. My mother has dementia and, while she is still in the early stages, my brother and I are researching appropriate places for her care before it becomes a necessity. We had heard about the MBK facility in Orange, from a friend, and found Citrus Place, closer to our homes and work. Aurora, the Director of Sales, was warm and informative. She explained all aspects of life at Citrus Place. We took the tour and were pleasantly surprised at the level of activity in the center, as well as the obviously high level of care the residents receive. The facilities were clean, spacious, did not smell medicinal, were decorated warmly, and there were ample caregivers available to the residents. The food looked delicious and nutritious and the availability of it, for those on a different schedule than the dining room, was appreciated. While my brother and I have to follow through with some other processes before having our mom join Citrus Place, it will be the first place we call when the time comes!

I toured this place with my mother the other day and it was the loveliest experience we've had so far. The care and attention we experienced just as guests was phenomenal.Thank you so much Aurora and the rest of the staff for your kindness and information. Thanksgiving Celebration brunch. The food was fantastic. The servers and staff are amazing. It's so comforting that my partners Mom is in such a wonderful place. Her sister lived in a separate building here at Citrus place. My parter and I thought it would have been nice to have Mom's sister join us on this side. When we checked in for brunch, the staff was thoughtful enough to have Mom's sister bought to this building for Thanksgiving brunch. It really made us realize how thoughtful and caring the staff here is.

My sister is in assisted living (this is her 3rd location) and the 3rd time is a charm. Such a wonderful place with terrific care givers, lots of fun activities (including offsite adventures) and a beautiful 1 bedroom apt! She is here for the long term which makes her AND us happy! Citrus Place has been a wonderful place for my 90+ year old father to move to when having to leave his own home. The environment is beautiful, the rooms are nice (each one has a mini-kitchen, living room and bedroom with on suite bathroom), the food selections are vast (and yummy, I've been a guest for lunch), the activities are many and dad has a chance to be on the 'resident's council' to have a say in his environment! Everyone knows my dad's name, and that seems to be true for everyone... it's been a good decision for our family.

I visit my sister weekly in the Connections for Living area at Citrus Place, and I always leave feeling confident that she is getting not only the care she needs, but cheer and loving interactions with the staff on a daily basis. I am grateful for Citrus Place and all its staff members.

I i am current resident, a guest for more than a year. On of scale of 1- t0 Citrus Place, gets a 5. It is much like my dorm life in ;El Paso (Univ. of Tx), safe, rules, but no interaction & staff is gone (except security) before 9. Tonight, working on some numbers of the tax people - desired some coffee - of course dinning rm. closed, automat in not operational. & I am denied access to main facility across parking lot. I pay a good deal of money - have an intellect, do not want to be treated as a product in the storm cellar.

Wow! I was so impressed with my tour's of Citrus Place! My first tour I was welcomed by Susan, she did an outstanding job answering all my questions! I was impressed also by the size of the rooms and how clean everything was! I was able to speak with some of the guests and they all said how much they enjoyed living there! I was surprised to see my name on the welcome board! On my second visit Aurora was my tour guide, Aurora was very polite and answered the questions that I had, this time the friends that I was with took pictures! Aurora also invited us to have lunch, as you can see by the photo's everything was excellent! I still have some "Ducks to get in a row" but my first choice will be Citrus Place, Lord willing!

My Step Mom Jean is a new (March 2019) memory care resident at Welbrook Arlington. Prior to the wrath and progression of her Alzheimers, she was extremely smart, kind-hearted, loveable, talkative, and a great listener that gave insightful career advice. Unfortunately, the staff will never see her true inner beauty but they a caring for her as if they had. The entire staff is simply amazing, especially Michelle, Brittany, Ayriana, and Myira! The facility is sunny and bright, clean, well maintained and has room to roam safely. The meals and snacks are delicious. There are many engaging and fun activities for the residents to enjoy, including field trips. I live in North Carolina and found it easy to return home knowing that my Step Mom is in good hands. (Kudos to Dad for finding Wellbrook!)

My mother in law moved here 3 years ago. We all love the community and the staff. We are so impressed with the management and staff for their caring and thorough approach to keeping the residents and staff safe during COVID, and for sharing frequent updates and news. They arrange Zoom calls, and make every effort to keep the residents connected with their families and friends.

The staff are nice and the facility is well looked after. The aroma of the hallways is a bit medicinal and unpleasant but perhaps to be expected in such a facility. Some kind of freshener might be helpful though.

We have recently placed my father at Welbrook Arlington. He is so very happy knowing that he can spend the rest of his life at a facility that truly cares about the people that live there. Denise is amazing. She is very patient regarding the interactions between herself and the residents. She knows all residents by name and the entire facility has a safe homey feel about it. The facility is sparkly clean and well maintained. It has attractive greenery to enjoy and the apartments are modern and extremely comfortable. Every resident we talked to rave about how much they enjoy living there. There are plenty of fun and engaging activities for the residents to enjoy. In my opinion, there is no better place for my 85 year old father to live, and if you visit Welbrook Arlington yourself, you will agree that this facility, the residents and the entire staff are of the highest quality and is a wonderful place to live out your golden years. This is Coming from a ex employee I learned a lot from this job that was helpful to me. I love to make the residents smile. The hardest part was when you get close to someone and they pass away. I worked for Welbrook for a few years and the company of MBK all together six years. Welbrook is a family friendly environment. CFL, AL has the best supervisors who go over and beyond for their residents. The only thing I would change is for all the caregivers to get the recognition they deserve.

After checking several retirement homes for my folks, this one had the most amenities for the price. They also offer independent living, a full care facility, and a small memory care side. Definitely worth your time to review.

Mom spent 2 years at this place. The staff really was very courteous and caring. There were many activities offered and because of her vision and deafness, she wasnt able to join - even though she would have liked to. She enjoyed the library and going to places. In a way it was heartening to see that she couldnt play cards or Bingo with other residents. (Only wished there were more deaf residents.) Her apartment was nicely furnished and comfortable. In fact I would move to Welbrook myself. I plan on going back to teach sign language there to the residents and staff. I really appreciated the staff and they are superb!

We provided our services ( Smile for the Birdie) as a form of pet therapy earlier this year. Working with different senior living centers we find some to only have a $50.00-$100.00 monthly budget for outside entertainment. For Welbrooks activities director reach out to us and contract our services told us a lot about her and this facility. The location was extremely clean, all the staff were professional and most of all we had the privilege of meeting 40 very happy seniors! The staff really engaged with us to make this a very special event for the seniors. Some of these photos were posted on their FB page on 4, 21, 17. If your seeking a senior assisted living home I would highly suggest giving Welbrook Arlington a visit.

Clean as a whistle...friendly and professional caring staff...nice meals prepared with nice table settings...movies, tv, fun games...dj playing music from their time...nail polishing sessions, bingo and birdhouse painting...my step mom never did anything like this at home. She lived alone and preferred it that way...now since being at Welbrook Arlingto, she does things....fun things she never tried , like painting. I am glad I found this place. I can rest knowing she is in good hands. The caregivers to me are earth angels...I appreciate them and all the hard work and patience they have. THANK YOU!
