My dad has been in the memory care community at Legacy Reserve at Fritz Farm for almost a year. We have been very pleased with his care and the facility as a whole. Although no place is perfect, and like being at home, Legacy has high standards with regard to their care. We love that there are only 15 residents in the memory care community, so everyone gets more attention. The activities director, Kris, goes above and beyond to make sure the residents feel known and loved. My dad enjoys the food, and his room and bathroom are kept very clean and neat by the staff. We are very grateful that dad is a resident at Legacy, where he is loved and cared for by dedicated people, and in such a lovely setting.

As a home health Physical Therapist, I regularly treat patients on the personal care and independent living side at the Legacy. I can say from experience that this is a top notch facility with great staff who give their residents excellent care. The facility is always clean and well maintained and there is always something going on to keep the residents involved. The staff treat the residents like family and go above and beyond to make sure their needs are met. I can't say enough good things about the Legacy and I would recommend this facility to my family, friends, and patients!

This is a beautiful clean facility with friendly staff and good food. My mother was in memory care at Legacy for almost 2 years. I was there 4 days a week and always knew she was taken good care of. The staff became our family. Sadly, my mother passed but I still enjoy dropping by to visit the staff who took such great care of here and grab a bite to eat in The Bistro!

The Legacy really let us down. After 3 1/2 years we were disgusted when we left. My Mother In Law was left in dirty depends for hours, the room was never clean, the staff was always different, the food was horrible. At this point I am hard pressed to tell someone to move in. When we relocated my MIL there were bed sores and pressure ulcers, they did not follow the care plan. It was terrible. When I asked for documentation, they could not find it or the computer was not working. For almost 8K a month....Don't do it!

It is so disappointing that after three and a half years we had to move my Mother In Law out. While she did need more care they did not provide the care we paid for. She was left in dirty depends to the point of open sores. Her room was constantly dirty with ants, work orders were never completed. The food is horrible! They were neglectful and dangerous. I advise you to look elsewhere.

I think Legacy Reserve does well with independent living services, but if your parent is in need of more care, I would not recommend their Personal Care facility. There is a constant turnover in staff, and they appear to be short-staffed much of the time. The food provided to Personal Care residents is not good.

Such a beautiful place that feels immediately like home. Staff are so sweet and helpful. The food is out of this world good, I had the prime rib and it was the best I have ever had. It was paired with cheesy twice baked potatoes and broccoli. The next day I had a personal pizza in the bistro and it was excellent as well! My grandfather loves living there. He has made so many friends, and always has a full schedule of things to do. Our family is so happy with our decision to move my grandfather there.

In December 2019, we were faced with a difficult family decision. Our mothers health had rapidly (and dangerously) declined, and she was no longer able to live alone in her much-loved home. Legacy Reserve at Fritz Farm has been a God-send, quite literally. They provided a furnished room so that she could decide whether to stay permanently and also so that we did not have to move her fully one week after Christmas. They also have provided 24, 7 medical and living assistance, putting our minds at ease. They give her chauffeured trips to her doctors appointments. They provide gorgeous meals, custom-fit to her dietary and medical needs. They clean her home, do her laundry, and assist in personal care issues that she is no longer able to do alone. Probably most importantly, though, they have opened up a new world to her so that she can interact socially with peers -- much preferred to living in a tiny town alone. We cant recommend them highly enough and are happy to answer any questions. The staff has been exceptionally kind and phenomenally professional, making this transition seamless for all of us. My mom was only there a few hours before declaring she was never going back to her home. That speaks for itself! Thank you, Legacy Reserve!

Bluegrass Moving Concierge has been honored to be a small part of Legacy Reserve when their doors opened in July 2017 and can honestly say you will experience the Luxuries of a 5 Senior Living Community! Not only a beautiful atmosphere, you will also feel the love, warmth and attention to detail with the impeccable staff. We have observed friendships made within the community, laughter and support while walking down Main Street and a lot of smiles on a daily basis. We always feel comfortable when a client moves into Legacy, because we know they will get the best of everything. A prayer we all have for our parents and friends.

My favorite thing about Legacy Reserve is that it is a happy place. All of the residents and employees alike are always smiling and having fun together. There are so many things to do. You can pick and choose what fits you best. My favorites are the Water Aerobics Classes which are year round, weekly Bible Study, and working puzzles with friend. Diner in the Bistro, Chandlers, or Bernards Bar is always a culinary delight among friends too. It is a great place to live.

I enjoy being able to have the freedom to select my own dining times, and to have a choice of dining venues. Also a wide variety of menu options. And the menu changes monthly. Also, in addition to the enjoyment of living in a beautiful new facility with all the amenities I could want including a indoor saltwater pool, there is a very caring staff to look after all our needs. I am so pleased that I made the choice to move here as the first resident and can enjoy all these amenities rather than waiting till a move to a retirement facility was a necessity!

This place is truly the way I want to retire. It is an amazing facility that has everything that anyone would need. It would actually add years to anyones life. There is no stress and you never want for anything. It is all right there. from the pool, to the theater, to the sports bar. This place can keep you forever young.The staff is amazing and they truly care about everyone in their facility. Lexington is lucky to have this place.
