Went to visit my mom who moved in last month. Was the first time I was ever there and was so impressed. Such a friendly welcoming atmosphere . So many amenities. She is so happy there and I can see why.

Gary Dixon has been a very big part of making our move into Park Place a welcoming experience. He always, always has a smile and takes the time to talk with the residents, while he works. He has fixed some things in our unit. He is efficient without rushing through the project. If we had a Gary in our prior home, we might still be there! Look elsewhere. Management is a constant revolving door. My Father is in Memory Care and has escaped at least 3 times that we are aware of. Mom lives in Assisted Living. Memory Care laundry is not done lately. My Dads urine soaked clothing was returned in the same basket unwashed and balled up. There are some great employees in Memory Care that truly care about the residents. Beside escaping 3 times, Dad was also sent to the Hospital with a severe UTI and dehydration that went unchecked. The day that we called an ambulance for him we were told by Management and the Nurse on Duty that Dad was "fine". He spent 13 days in 2 different hospitals and while he has recovered, it was very touch and go for 2 weeks. We were not sure if he would be able to return to his previous abilities such as being able to walk or feed himself. We have noticed the sharp decrease in Memory Care residents over the last 60 days. We remain diligent in tasking requests to Management to secure the door properly. There is really not much that can be done due to the setup and limited staff. Please be aware that Memory Care is not secure…your loved one can get out. If you are not there to observe your loved ones absence, you will never be told. Sadly, it's all about the money. Rent increases with no benefit of additional staffing or services. At this time, I am honoring my Mothers request to "stay" because Dad is in the next building over which makes it convenient for her and she has developed friendships with other Independent Living residents. This is it though and I've informed her of that fact. Next occurrence and my Brother and I will be moving them both out. Enough is enough.

Gary Dixon is the friendliest, most cheerful person I have ever known. He always has a smile on his face and has a kind word for everyone. If you have a problem in your apartment or need something fixed, Gary is the man to call. He will either send someone to help or come himself, but either way the problem/issue always gets fixed.

I stayed in independent living for 30 days. I didn't like it there. It's super expensive and not much different than renting an apartment. Everything in the apartment is old and patched together. The food is usually cold and bad. The management is poor.

We have had a bad experience at Park Place. Our mom was in memory care .Finding my incontinant mom wet and urine on floor by hospice nurses and our family routinley. Between my family, someone is there 3 days a week and hospice nurses 3 days a week. Constant dirty clothes soiled , piled up in her basket every time we went .We constantly had to ask them to wash her clothes and her washable pad for bed. I found my mom's robe with diareaha in it. My mom has dementia and she had rolled it up and it was smelling bad. No one found it. But it smelled bad in her room all of the time. The food they served them was shriveled and nasty looking. The food in indenpedant and assisted was good though. When we took my mom out about 3 weeks ago there was 19 vacated rooms and 21 rooms with residents . I counted what does that tell you, in an established facility. I agree that The Landing is a great facility and so is Hampton Manor a new facility in Wenzville where we moved our mom after 4 months at Park Place. We continually told Park Place of our dissatisfaction and it didn't change. There is however a new director over Park Place Brent, and he is lovely and seems like he really cares and wants to change things, but it may take some time. Also Corey over activities is awesome and so is Ken the main nurse is awesome. But the overseeing of the CNA's have been severely lacking in the last 4 months before Brent got there. One time I was trying to get out and I looked all over for someone to let me out, so I finally went to the office with frosted glass and knocked and 6 girls in there laughing and looking at their phones. No one to be found on the floor. It's no wonder things we not attended to. I accidentally pressed 5 stars, that was a mistake . I give mememiry care a 3. But I give Ken nurse,Corey activities and the new male director a 5 star. I wanted to add to this that if you or your lived one is in assisted or in independant at Park Pkace, it's seems to be very nice. It's the memory care where you see things lacking. It's a beautiful place and my mother likes living there. My concern is that she fell end ended up in the hospital for a couple weeks. when she got back a comforter her mother had made for her was missing out of her room. Yesterday my mom had to be picked up between 6:30 and 7 am. The staff at Park Place had my mom, up dressed and packed for the day when I arrived to pick her up!

George entered Charlene's room to leave some magazines for her. Her bed wasn't made, trash should have been emptied, room was dark...... should have blinds open. I realize there's a lot to do for all the residents. Not having the bed made doesn't concern me as much as the room looking like a dungeon.

Our parents went to Park Place in independent living, mom went on to memory care, and dad went on to assisted-living. I cannot say enough positive things about our experiences with this organization. Debbie Koval is very professional and cares greatly about the residents. I would highly recommend this retirement community.

The best part of the place is the range of amazing staff members who make life at Park Place enjoyable and comfortable for my parents. The staff members also do a great job communicating with me since I visit my parents often and coordinate their medical and psychosocial needs. My Parents have resided at Park Place since 2014, with each parent requiring totally different types of care. The compassion, understanding, professionalism and kindness shown to them as well as to their extended family is truly something to be valued. We consider Debbie and her staff there to be an extension of our own family now. I really dont see where these negative reviews are coming from. I worked here at park place for about a year and this place was by far one of the best. Every place has staffing issues every once in awhile. But this place is very clean does not smell and I have eaten the food and served the food and not one thing wrong with it. And not one time did I ever notice a resident not being taken care of. I would by far give this place a 5 star rating a 10 if was possible .

We moved my dad, who is 86, into Park Place assisted living 5 months ago. At that time he was fairly independent with early stage dementia. His health has deteriorated rapidly and he is now under hospice care. The staff has been phenomenal throughout the whole process. The administrators ( Cindy, Mona and Sarah) are very professional, approachable and caring. They have always kept us informed and in many cases advised us of options for care. The concierges (Debbie and Sandy) always welcome you with a smile and ready to help no matter what the problem. The medtechs on the floor are unbelievable with the care they give my dad. They all treat my dad with dignity and love like he was one of their own. There are so many that have cared for him throughout his stay and have been great but would like to mention the following that have stood out: KC, Ashley, Kayla, Courtney, Amanda and Tanda. I would highly recommend Park Place for a loved one. I dont have any experience with the Independent or Memory Care but have walked through and it seems very nice. The Assisted Living Facility is by far nicer than all the others we visited when researching facilities. It is always clean and offers many upscale amenities. There is a large sitting, living room with TV on each floor, spacious dinning area which offers great meals, two social centers for activities and an outside patio.We are so thankful and blessed to have found Park Place.

From the moment I walked into Park Place Winghaven I knew it was the place for my mom. I wanted a friendly, loving environment for my mom with great care. THIS IS THE PLACE! The place is beautiful with great rooms for each resident. Cindy the director is very involved in the care of each resident. The Concierges are friendly and caring to all. The food is great the activities are wonderful. The aides and nurses go out of their way to interact with each resident. My mom loves the staff, the residents and her new home. This is a must see if you are looking for assistant living for a loved one. The price is all inclusive: food, activities, outings, housecleaning, laundry, and individual services for each residence. Our Mother has been at Park Place almost 3 months. Its a beautiful place, very clean and comfortable. They have activities and outings for those who want to participate. They have church services, Swimming pool, hot tub, and party rooms. Food is very tasty and the Assisted Living apartments are very roomy. The Employees are very friendly and residents make newcomers feel welcomed. I feel like we placed our Mom in a very nice place when it came time she couldnt live home alone anymore.

This seems like a great retirement community for my in-laws. They have the freedom to have their own apartment. They can watch a movie, get their hair done there, go to church, swim, play games, rent out a room for large family gatherings, and get extended care should the need arise.

The assisted living area at Park Place was the best. My father lived there for a short time but while there his care was excellent. The staff was very kind, friendly and the management went above and beyond to help us with our financial needs. As far as our family is concerned this establishment deserves a 10 star rating.
