Went to Discovery Village when I thought my mom would need to move from independent living to assisted living. I checked out a couple of places but this one stood out as clean and the apartments were nice. I met with Anecia Cowell and she spent a good amount of time explaining what type of care my mom could receive there. She was thorough and told me what I needed to know. It was exactly what I was looking for and was ready to move her in. Unfortunately mom passed away and never had the opportunity to move in.

I called after maintenance had left, explained we had a desk in the car and I needed another set of hands so she offered to help. Three days ago, we received word our mother had been left by a long term caregiver. We rushed to Boynton Beach from our home in Michigan only to find Mom in terrible shape. I immediately began looking for services and miraculously found Elisa at Discovery Villages. Though I had no appointment, Elisa and Clara the head RN, met with me and all but literally held my hand through every step of her transition from negligent care to all the care supports she will now get and need in order to recover. Elisa and Clare worked very quickly and seamlessly (even on days they weren't scheduled to work) to expediate the process for a very sick woman! Our family has never experienced this kind of kindness from community care. We are awestruck and forever grateful for the Discovery Villages team!

My mom has been in Discovery Village for a little over 2 years. When the Director of Memory Care, Joann, joined the staff, there was a big improvement in my mom's care. Joanne began doing activities with her clients such as daily exercises; story time where she reads aloud; painting classes; guest speakers and activities; festivities for holidays including a Halloween costume party; therapy dogs; and bus trips to the beach, looking at Christmas decorations etc… In addition she knows all the medical needs of mom. She shows she cares by sending a monthly activities calendar and discussing mom's needs with me such as hair being cut and colored; and visits on site with varies doctors ie podiatrist. I am very impressed with the changes Joann has implemented, her caring nature, her constant communication to keep me informed and her treating mom with respect and dignity….Thank you Joann!

My wife and I moved into Discovery Village Boynton after living in Aberdeen for 24 years. It was quite a surprise that people are so friendly and helpful. We get 2 delicious meals a day, they clean our apartment and do our laundry. Our apartment is large and spacious because this originally was a condo. We have a pool, gym and all kinds of exercise programs. There is something to do every day with movies and entertainment. I highly recommend this community. We love it!

Trying to navigate a move from a distance is always challenging. The process started almost a year before the actual move and I was lucky enough to have connected with Elisa Dansky to help navigate it all! Elisa was patient and always answered my endless questions and very understanding to all my concerns. My uncle has been living here for a few months now after having a fall at home. The administrative staff, especially Elisa, made the transition from physical rehabilitation to trial resident and then full resident so easy and smooth. The team went to great lengths to ensure that my uncle was comfortable at every step of the process. Catering to his needs and allowing him the time required to consider the options before he eventually signed a lease to stay there. Having a family member with dementia is a hard experience. When my sister in law was diagnosed with it, we were devistated. We called Elisa Dansky at Discovery Village Boynton. As soon as we met with her, we knew that she was there for us. She understood and took us through the entire process. My sister in law has been residing there for eight months and nothing has changed. When you sign in you are met with smiley face and warm welcome from Laura of the concierge staff. Mary Allen the assistant administrator is always available when needed. Nicki who is in charge of the memory care floor is also there when needed. Unlike other facilities, the team in memory care have been trained to handle any situation. The food is excellent and most importantly nutritious. Five stars.

For my Mom we followed the recommended pattern of Independent living, then IL with added services, then Assisted Living, then ALF w added services until now complete care.So very content and satisfied. They built long term relationship and insightful care for Mom. So many examples. She feels safe, respected and cared for. By the way, the chef at the ALF is awesome!! My mother is in the memory care unit at Discovery and the one outstanding feature I have found is the level of caring attention the residents get. The director of the facility is responsive, professional and giving of her time. The staff are friendly and warm to the residents. For two years prior to Covid my wife and I went to the memory care unit every day and always found the residents pleasant and happy with their surroundings and personnel. I am now out of town and feel 100% confident that my 104 year old mother is being well attended. In addition, they have a wonderful personal service program which every other week take my mother to her medical specialist. Highly recommend this facililty.

Discovery Village at Boynton Beach is a wonderful, caring, comfortable place. Mary Allen, the director of the assisted living building, is amazing. She and her staff go to any lengths necessary to insure the comfort, safety, and happiness of the residents. The apartments are all newly remodeled, and the food and activities are great. The chef is wonderful, the food is always really delicious. The staff do not come and go, the same people have been caring for my mother for the entire year that she has lived there. She is very well taken care of, I am notified immediately if any issue arises. I do not worry at all. We are very glad she chose Discovery Village.

My uncle has lived at Discovery Village for 4 years, moving through the different levels of independence. I live in California and am responsible for all of my uncles care. He recently had a stroke and the staff were very helpful in supporting me to make the difficult decision to move him to the memory care unit. I had to move quickly and staff went out of their way to ensure the process was completed while I was there. Being far away, communication is key for me and the various people Ive dealt with have been very helpful, supportive, and responsive. Staff in both the assisted living and memory care units have been kind to my uncle and me. My uncle enjoys living at Discovery Village; he feels safe, taken care of, and especially enjoys the music and many other activities.
