I was looking for a place to live life to its fullest and be able to care for my husband and best friend that had Alzheimer's. I wanted a place with fewer responsibilities on my part (cooking, activities outside the home etc) so I could focus on him. This place had everything we needed! He was able to mingle and socialize without leaving the premises. The staff is the best, very helpful and my husband enjoyed chatting with them and they always had time to visit with him. Patricia is one of the dearest people you'll ever meet and was successful in securing an apartment for us at the exact time we needed it. Brian kept us busy with activities and exercising so we could stay in shape! We loved the library, the movie theater and of course the meals! Morada Lake Arlington is the place to be if you want to enjoy life to its fullest. Food is good, and community meals gave us the opportunity to meet others and form lasting friendships. Highly recommend the Morada Lake Arlington as the place to be!

You can feel her genuine love and passion for her job, her co-workers, and the residents at Morada Lake Arlington. She makes it feel like home.

My mother stayed there for about 6 months. The staff were extremely friendly and the apartments in the independent living side spacious. Dining room staff knew her by name and knew what she liked. Residents were very friendly and always nade it a point to talk to us. Mom was displaced out of her apartment for about a month due to flooding. Her apartment at one point was left unlocked and a few residents took it upon themselves to take my mother's belongings despite signs we posted clearly stating that belongings were not to be removed. Apparently there were rumors that she had moved out. This left a bitter taste in our mouth for this facility and the missing items were not recovered, except for one. While this is a nice facility, we never expected dishonesty from elderly residents. Very disappointing.

This is the prettiest facility both outside and inside. I love the layout and the cleanliness of both outside and inside. The staff is just amazing in the way they handle day to day operations. I think it looks seamless to the guests and the residents They have also done an unbelievable job about the different events that they have in the facility every day and every week. I'm so thankful my sister chose this property The dining area is also set up with such class and the food is really delicious The recent remodeling they did really gave it an uplifted look. The staff... I just can't say enough they are professional they keep their eyes on what needs to be looked after they have been very very patient with me about different issues that might come up with my sister. They're always friendly and attentive to every detail and fulfill ever need/concern

Initially very reluctant to move out of her house, she is now talking to other widowed friends and encouraging them to move to Morada, too. The opportunities for social contact with other residents are endless. The staff are very attentive and those living there are very welcoming to new residents.

When we were researching assisted living facilities in Arlington, Morada got very good reviews across-the-board. When we toured the facility, Patricia was very helpful and she was sensitive to our particular needs for our family. On the same day of our tour, we ran into a friend whose mother was in this facility, and she gave a glowing personal account of the care her mother was receiving, which helped confirm our decision to move mom there. Mom has been in Morada now for three months and our family is happy to report that she has been very well cared for by the entire staff. The other residents assured me that they are looking out for mom, too. We are so pleased with the many activities and personal attention mom gets every day. Moving mom was very difficult emotionally, but the staff has been so caring, loving on us and offering lots of hugs and reassurances throughout the whole process. It has been a blessing!

This place is amazing. When you walk into the entrance, you feel at home immediately. The staff really love the residents. They know them well. Our dad moved in before Christmas. They always have great activities going on. Movie nights, Bingo, exercise classes, parties, happy hour with entertainment.... They have gone above and beyond on several occasions for our family and always make us feel welcome. Dad enjoys the three meals a day. He also has his apartment cleaned each week and they wash his sheets and remake his bed. The residents are always out visiting with each other, playing games or doing puzzles. I can't say enough good things about Morada Lake Arlington!!!

My husband moved into assisted living near our children, and I moved into independent living. The staff have been so gracious and professional that my husband’s health improved much faster than we expected. We were able to live together again thanks to the people at all levels of employment. The activities keep us very busy, and many excursions are offered to nearby attractions and events, like restaurants, botanical gardens, symphony concerts, etc. The staff try to accommodate everybody’s interests, which seems impossible, but is surprisingly successful. This is like a little village. We all look out for each other. And we have a lot of laughs!

My grandmother is 98 years of age and currently resides at Morado Lake Arlington in the memory care unit. The senior staff and the director,Ms.LaTonya Marcus are wonderful! They take great care with her and are respectful to her. Which is very important to me and to my grandmother because though she is aged she's still a person and I think many people forget that with seniors. She has a nice room, enjoys the food and the people around her.

My husband and I moved into the independent living 6months ago and really enjoy it. Patricia was so sweet and attentive during our tour of the facility and even when we came back with our daughter. The property is awesome with a theater and a library full of books. There is even a fenced in courtyard with gazebo to take our 4 legged baby out for some exercise. The staff is simply AMAZING. We just love Brian ....best social director I think I've ever met!! The front desk staff is also very good. We have met so many new people. And I love not having to cook since they serve 3 meals a day. We could not have found a better place to live!

This is a great place to live. The residents are nice and fun, and the management is excellent. Patrcia was wonderful and explained everything clearly. The facility is kept very clean, the housekeepers are nice and friendly, and the food is wonderful. Very nice place. The facilities are very nice with an upscale dining room, library, movie room, and courtyard. There are different room options, all with high ceilings around 10 feet. The staff has been very friendly and accommodating to my father-in-law, the photo below is of his room after we got him moved in. When my wife comes to visit him in the middle of the day, she remarks about how many times they are having a party of some sort in the common area with lots of the residents there enjoying themselves.

Morado advertises to residents that if you get someone to move into the facility you will receive substantial discounts on your rent. After getting the run around for three months my mom has still not received her discount and no one will return her phone calls. No one is ever available even when you go to the office. I stopped by today and supposedly the ED and business manager were gone for the day (4:15). I am beyond frustrated for my mom who is 95. Why promote this if you aren't going to honor it???

Morada Lake Arlington has been an absolute Godsend. My brother's mental and physical health has improved so much since moving here. Everyone truly cares, staff and residents included. The meals are delicious. The events are plentiful and so fun! The available (for a fair price) caregiving is AMAZING!! The caregivers have been so thorough with my brother's needs. He looks forward to seeing them every day. Having physical therapy on site has been wonderful, too. I brag on this place all the time. I know my brother is well cared for and happy, and that gives me SO much peace. Thank you, Morada Lake Arlington Staff. You are such a blessing to my family!

Our time with Atria Lake Arlington was very short. We had hoped we would have much more time, but it wasnt part of the grand plan. From the moment we went to tour the facility to the handling of that really hard phone call that your loved one has passed - our experience with Atria and their team was top notch. We moved my father in for a respite stay with the plan for a longer term stay if he felt comfortable and liked it until he was strong enough to move to the independent living side of the complex. From the moment he walked in, I knew it was a good fit and he felt he had regained a small amount of the independence he was afraid he was losing since becoming too weak to live independently. Im not going to lie and say everything was perfect - because it wasnt - but how they handled the situations that arose was professional, compassionate and without hesitation. They never made excuses - just sought out solutions. The facility was bright, cheery and clean. They had a constant schedule of things going on to keep the residents engaged and involved if they so chose. They made my dad comfortable and helped me to be able relax and just be with him in what ended up being the last few weeks of his life. For that Im am so very thankful.

I highly recommend Atria Lake Arlington Assisted Living facility for their cleanliness, meals, a variety of activities and outings, and caring staff. This place and the staff have been an absolute answer to prayer.A little history - March 2017, after receiving recommendations from my parents friend and pastor from Fielder Road, my stepmother made the decision to move into Atria Lake Arlington, formerly Brookdale Lake Arlington. Dad has severe dementia and my stepmother, who was terminal, was dads primary caregiver. She wanted him comfortable with his surroundings before she left this world.My stepmother passed seven months after moving into the facility. During her hospice journey, the entire family received so much support and love from the entire staff.Before and after my stepmoms death, my husband and I had, and continue, a daily physical presence. We daily witness the compassion and concern each employee has for each resident. We know each employee by first name, we know each resident by first name, and we consider them affectionately as family.The negative comments submitted against this facility are most assuredly submitted by uninformed or non-participating family members.In the past two years we continue to encourage dad to participate in the many activities offered to the residents; however, because of his severe dementia, this requires us to accompany my father on outings and in, house community activities.Bottom line - Because we are physically present - we know first hand - every resident is well cared for and they are loved.

Brookdale - Lake Arlington (Independent Living) is an amazing place, if you are considering moving there it will be a place you or your loved one will enjoy. I searched for several years looking for a place to recommend for my Dad like Uncle. The people are what make Brookdale Special and they have all gone beyond the call of duty to make him feel at home and they have many fun activities to keep you busy. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are included in your monthly rent. They also allow Home Health to visit you as well as have Personal Aids you can hire for those difficult tasks that are no longer easy to do. If you are on the fence, call Lou Richards she is the Sales Manager and she will make the transition easy for you or your loved one. - Mark

We placed our father at Brookdale Lake Arlington after having an unsettling experience with another Assisted Living facility in Keller. Although the facility in Keller was fancier and seemed to have all the bells and whistles, they couldnt hold a candle to the staff at Brookdale. Dad only lived at Brookdale for 5 months before passing away, but we couldnt have been happier and more at peace with having him there. I cant say enough good things about Brookdale. The staff was outstanding. They were helpful, respectful, loving and caring at all times. All of my family members noticed the difference in the staff from the very beginning - they all seemed to enjoy their work and love the residents. They werent on their phones all the time, etc. We never worried about dad receiving the level of attention or care that he needed. When he passed, they all grieved with us. They are just precious, precious people. Whitney, Lydia and the nursing staff and all of the caretakers were super great. From the bottom of my heart I thank you for loving and caring for dad. I highly recommend Brookdale Lake Arlington.

My dad lived on the Assisted Living Side of the facility for the last 3.5 years of his life. He thrived there. He loved the staff and participated in a lot of the activities. At the age of 96, when he finally had to be placed on the hospice care plan there, everyone was kind and compassionate and made his last few months comfortable.
