The place is really nice but the admin is like a total nurse Ratchet which ruins it and has very negative impacts on the seniors living there. So much wasted potential!

This place was a godsend in the midst of one of the most difficult period both personally and historically. My Dad took a fall in Feb and was moved into a local SNF. Three weeks later lockdown! What an absolute nightmare trying to care for an ailing, injured elder at a distance. After 2-1, 2 months of fighting for my Dads care, I found Twelve Oaks. Denise is one of the kindest and most understanding directors. She has that unique mix of running a tight ship yet understanding what a family goes through when a family member no longer can be cared for at home. The staff, the grounds, their care made the last two months of my Dads life so much more bearable. My Dad died in Aug. Im so grateful he was able to be surrounded by what I consider an extension of my family. They truly care!

Twelve Oaks Senior Living is a gem! I have been involved with Twelve Oaks since my daughter was in National Charity League and the community was our main philanthropy. Since then, the property has undergone a significant renovation and it is BEAUTIFUL. The community was founded nearly 80 years ago, is an icon in the community and is on nearly five-acres of park like grounds and the residents love the open feel because of this. Lodging includes assisted living, memory care and independent living so theres a wide range of accommodations including free standing cottages and apartments. Its a small, intimate community and while group activities are on hold because of Covid, residents are able to do activities in their rooms. Community involvement such as antique car shows, shopping and tea parties, Bible study and more are offered. One of the most talked about aspects of Twelve Oaks is their culinary program. All meals are made from scratch, and many of the vegetables come from Chef Leticias garden on the grounds. Theres a great menu variety and special holidays are always accompanied by themed meals. Julian Hernandez is a beloved volunteer and a professional baker. He creates one-of-a-kind cakes for each residents birthday! These are just a few reasons why Twelve Oaks is so special. It really is a tight knit family between the staff, residents and their loved ones.

Reopened in 2017, this senior community is located on five acres in the Montrose area. The rural, oak forest setting is difficult to duplicate today. The newly renovated assisted living buildings and upgraded community center, dining room look great! New management is providing high quality assisted living care.

Twelve Oaks Senior Living is a gem in a quiet residential area of Glendale. My daughter and I were part of National Charity League, Glendale Chapter, and our main philanthropy was Twelve Oaks. We spent countless hours with residents, playing games, doing gardening projects, hosting puppy parties and root beer socials. Residents have told us Twelve Oaks is unlike any assisted living facility in the San Gabriel Valley area, and the most cost effective. Residents love the nearly five-acre, park-like grounds, newly renovated buildings, oak trees providing shaded areas for residents to relax, new full service hair salon, incredible meals made by Leticia, and nursing and caregiving services they need. We definitely recommend Twelve Oaks for anyone in the area seeking assisted living for their loved ones.

The beautiful and newly-renovated Twelve Oaks is truly a treasure. As a first-time visitor I was struck by the incredible beauty of the wooded, five acre setting and lodge housing the dining and activity rooms. Staff was genuinely friendly and compassionate. The remodeled assisted-living apts all had walk in showers and many with private balconies. Although it ended up not being a good fit for my husband at the present time I would highly recommend the facility.

Twelve Oaks Senior Living is a shining star for seniors. The friendly staff, and newly renovated living areas make this a wonderful home. Offering assisted living and currently with no waiting list, they can move in immediately.The picturesque grounds, indoor lounges, fun activities and warm inviting spaces are completely unique.
