We moved my in laws to the Palisades about a year ago, into assisted living. We chose it after touring about a dozen other options in Colorado Springs, primarily because of its size (not too big or small) and location (lovely views, convenient to us). It's never easy to trust someone with your loved ones but the staff there has shown great care and attention. I won't be able to list everyone but we've been particularly impressed by Cora, Melanie, Kayla, Nathan and Alika. Cora has gone above and beyond repeatedly, helping my mother in law make a phone call or find her purse, or just soothing her when she was confused. The staff’s warmth and care was especially evident when we needed to bring in hospice for my father in law as as he passed. The leadership has undergone alot of change since we arrived and it was a bit bumpy to understand who to contact/for what, but when we really needed them, they have been there. Thank you also to Ashley and Michaela for your kindness and professionalism.

This is an awesome community with some of the best staff! Workers are all very caring and friendly, creating a fun environment for everyone around! The building is located in a beautiful location, and it is kept very well maintained at all times. There are always activities and entertainment happening throughout the day which makes for a fun filled day everyday here!

We recently toured the The Palisades Senior Living Community with my dad, and Katelyn provided such an outstanding experience from start to finish. She truly went above and beyond to make my dad feel welcomed, comfortable, and supported throughout the visit. One of the most thoughtful things she arranged was lunch with a current resident who happened to be the same age as my dad and had also lived in the same town for many years. They connected immediately, and it made such a meaningful impact on my dad to hear firsthand about life in the community from someone he could genuinely relate to. Katelyn’s kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail were evident the entire time. She created an environment that felt warm, personal, and caring rather than just a standard tour. We left feeling very appreciative of the time and effort she put into making the visit special. Thank you again, Katelyn, for such a positive experience.

The transportation services at Palisades at Broadmoor Park have been outstanding. I have a client here who's had a very large number of medical appointments and treatments. Casia, the Concierge, has done an exceptional job working with the Providers and me to schedule and coordinate transportation. Over the past 18 months they have provided more transportation than I could ever have expected, and more than most Senior Communities provide.

It's not easy having to decide it was time for assisted living for my parents. Overall the Palisades was quite good. The caregivers, QMAPS, and other staff were all really amazing, the food decent, and proximity to the Broadmoor area ideal. It doesn't have the "wow" factor with a large common space, but it worked well for our needs.

One of the best things about living at the palisades is our staff it is impossible to choose which one is better than another, each expresses such love compassion and care. Manny zo, and Marcos are an amazing care staff that always takes time out to give exceptional care, casia and lily are always a friendly face at the concierge stations and helpful with whatever questions you may have, and sol in activities is always smiling and going above and beyond to engage the residents in new and fun activities. Edith does our laundry with great efficient effort. Brian and victoria are very solid and caring dining staff that's makes sure we have warm and appetizing meals from sun up to sun down. And when it comes to maintenance crew we have a wonderful team, Marvin and curtis handle all our issues with quickness and compassion on all they do. I can go on and on about the amazing staff but these are just the shout outs that come to my mind

As a hospice nurse I have been in many communities, but I have never found one so caring and so loving to their residents. Not only is it an incredibly nice facility, but the directors and staff (especially Ashley, Ivory, Brianna, and Michaela) so clearly want what is best for their residents. Highly recommend as both an assisted living and a memory care facility. Manny is so incredible and caring for the residents and takes such good care of all of them.

I really cannot say enough good things about this community. I have never met a more dedicated leadership team throughout my senior living experience. As a therapist I have been in many many communities and being in this one is by far my favorite. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the care is fantastic. Resident needs are at the forefront of this place and that is the key. Fran, Kim, Ivory and Sara ensure great service from the first tour and throughout living there. The view is also just a major plus!

Such a pretty and secure community. My grandmother lives here and the staff is so patient and wonderful. They sit with her when sundowning and ensure she is safe. I don’t know where we would be without them.

This is a gorgeous community with AMAZING staff. I watched their nurse sit with a new resident who was moving in and didn't communicate well for over an hour because he was so upset. At the end of that time, he was calm and cooperative. I have seen busy managers stop what they are doing to help a resident go to the bathroom. I have seen anniversary parties for couples celebrating 60 or 65 years together. The time and care that the staff take to make sure the residents are happy (and feel like they belong) is heartwarming and beyond anything I could have hoped for. My grandmother passed away in the community during COVID, but she never once felt like she didn't have family. Thank you Palisades staff. Thank you.

I feel so blessed to have found The Palisades at Broadmoor Park for my Mother! The staff are so wonderful and dedicated! The transition from "independent living" to "assisted living" and recently to "connections for living" could not have flowed more smoothly with the emotional and physical support of the staff for my Mother...and me! Every caregiving staff I have met are wonderful and truly "caregivers"!

The Palisades is an extremely fine facility! The staff is exceptionally caring and compassionate. The facility is clean, organized, and well managed. The staff is happy and looks forward to assist your loved one. I would highly recommend the Palisades at the Broadmoor Park to anyone. I just don’t think you can do better for your loved one. UPDATE: My wife witnessed a woman in memory care who decided to take her lunch towards her room. Under the watchful eye of the staff the woman walk slowly to her room then she stood there deciding where she wanted to eat her lunch. After a few moments she decided to sit on the floor in the hallway. In her frail condition she struggled right away but without a moments of hesitation the staff member darted to her side at the end of the hall and helped her sit down with her food. The staff member also sat on the floor with and assisted her with her meal. This is the perfect example of care, love and compassion your family members get at the Palisades. My wife said to it was a moment of sadness followed by great compassion and love. She then said to me I saw Jesus in that moment

This is a beautiful facility and the staff is absolutely the best! Fran and Kimberly are compassionate, kind, and supportive. Very organized and professional, too. Kimberly knows exactly how to deal with difficult clients without hurting anyone’s feelings, which is a very important trait when it comes to us older folk. The food is delicious and well balanced. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

I had to make a very difficult decision regarding placement of my parents in an assisted living facility. I visited several facilities in the area and the staff at the Palisades at Broadmoor Park were the crucial deciding factor for me. The facilities and amenities are also fantastic, but when dealing with your loved ones, it is the experience, professionalism and empathy of the staff that really makes the difference and the staff under Fran is fantastic. The Palisades experienced turnover and staffing shortages, like every entity currently providing healthcare, but did a phenomenal job keeping in touch with me and coordinating care for my parents across the country. I will forever by grateful for the care the staff and professionals at the Palisades gave my parents, especially in such challenging times.

For our family, The Palisades at Broadmoor Park was "the pearl of high value a merchant found" in his travel. The management team and staff are caring, supportive and keeps the residents' needs front and center. The ambience is like a community and my mom while a resident felt like home.

It breaks my heart to leave a review like this. I truly thought I had found a safe and loving place for my dad. I found out otherwise. The staffing is abysmal, multiple times I walked in to find no one on his memory care floor, one day there was one person in the entire facility; the workers are spread too thin and not given the tools to do what is needed. The food, Salisbury steak, chicken legs, and ribs that looked like shoe leather, cheese ravioli that my husband swears came straight from the Army's tray pack surplus. Not a place to cut costs. I saw them put furniture from their sitting area outside due to a leak inside the building, it was raining outside the furniture was dripping wet. Saw it put back in that same sitting room days later. The smell from the leak was there for a good week and let me say, nasty. My father's room was not touched during the time they locked the family out under the covid. I have pictures. The experience was bad. He lost so much weight and looked like a homeless man. We moved him and I am thankful. They did allow us to leave our contract 30 days early, so I am thankful for that and thank them for that kindness. Tgus, two stars and not a one.

We toured the facility in early Dec 2019. The Palisades was the most expensive facility we looked at and for good reason. They have the most amenities out of all the other Assisted Living facilities. They also have the most active schedule we have seen yet, with their own Personal Trainer and separate physical activity calendar! Unfortunately, the deal breaker for us was that they didn't have a pet friendly outdoor space for my dad's dog. We had to cross a street and walk around the sister retirement community houses to the doggy space. However, they have a service to pick up dog waste, but it just want convenient for him. The rooms were amazing with high end finishes and lots of space. The showers had no lip entry which is very good to prevent falls. The area is gorgeous with beautiful views of the mountains, low crime and stores within walking distance. The haha were extra wide to allow for easy passing of walkers and wheelchairs. The Palisades has a barber/beauty shop, pool, aerobic room, gym, dinning rooms on each floor and several activities rooms and cozy sitting areas. They offered so many outtings for just men, women or both that we were blown away. They go fishing, to museums, to the Cripple Creek Casinos, and to farms or just scenic outtings. They go to a bunch of stores and can accommodate special request with notice. Their menu looked good and food smelled good. They have doctor's that come to the facility (Rocky MTN Senior Care) and their own pharmacy for convenience. They have a call button for residence they can use to call for help or even if they just want a cup of tea. Overall if was amazing but very pricey and not very convenient for dog owners who don't want to walk a lot.

The Palisades is an amazing place for seniors! I have had several patients who reside there. The activities are fun & entertaining. The food is well above average. In fact, it was very good! The grounds are well maintained. Everyone seems happy to be there. It is the top senior living facility in the Colorado Springs area. It is warm, comfortable & inviting without being pretentious & stuffy.

The Palisades at Broadmoor Park is an outstanding Senior Living Community. The facility is inviting and very well-maintained. Of note is the extremely high-level of personalized care. All the staff and especially caregivers are compassionate, caring, friendly and professional. Our family had absolutely no concerns about the lifestyle and care our Mom received. For a more intimate and 'family feel' to Senior and Assisted Living look no further. Truly wonderful.

My mother is a resident, and I am so happy that she is. Her health and attitude have improved amazingly since she became a resident, and she seems so much happier now than when she spent most of the day alone at home while we worked. I like to spend Sundays there with her, joining her for bingo, and taking her to the spa room for some spoiling. The caretakers are all caring and friendly, and when it's time for me to leave, I don't worry about mom, i know she is in good hands. She has a great social life now, thank you Palisades staff!!!

We moved my mom in over a year ago and couldn't be happier with the care and services that we have received. Mom is engaged in activities and is able to use all the areas of the community. We love the staff and are always well informed about mom's health and goings on in the community.

Wonderful place with wonderful, caring staff. Only issue I have is with caregiver "Soren" who has on numerous occasions made my female family member incredibly uncomfortable, to the point where we had to insist that he has no contact with my family member. Would rate 5 stars otherwise.

My Mom was a Founding Member of The Palisades and resided there for 10 years. She started in Independant Living, transitioned to Assisted Living and then to Memory Care. She loved the staff from the very begining, especially when MBK became the owners. With every transition, the staff and I were always on the same page. They took time for her and for me...her daughter. One of the beautiful experiences my Mom had was in her final months. She was cared for by Interim Healthcare-Hospice right in her own appartment surronded by her favorite things and staff that cared a great deal about her. I would highly recommended The Palisades!

The department heads really invest their time and energy to make this building soar. Truly a step above the rest. They make you feel like family the moment you walk through the doors.

I was truly amazed at the level of hospitality that The Palisades at Broadmoor Park provided while my loved ones were there. The staff was so friendly and patient, you can really tell that they love what they do and that they are not just there to get a pay check. The apartment that they gave us was spotless, very clean and fully equipped with any and everything that would ever be needed. From the cleanliness to the food, everything was above and beyond my expectations!!! If you have a loved one that requires assistance or respite care I would defiantly recommend the Palisades!!!!!!!

We had an event here with approximately 40 people in a meeting room. The room was very clean, the food was great and the staff is very friendly. I worked with Holly on getting everything set up, including the food menu. Holly is very polite and easy to work with. When you come in the door here, you receive a warm welcome and it feels you are only a stranger once. I would definitely recommend booking here if you have a meeting or event, and be sure to order food as well. You won't be sorry!

Recently, my mother-in-law and I took a tour of The Palisades. We were very impressed with the beautiful facility - it is well maintained, both inside and out. The residents we met were very happy, and highly recommended that my mother-in-law consider moving in. Also, the staff that we met were friendly and very accommodating. We especially enjoyed our time with Jenn and Christine - both focused on my mother-in-law, making her feel welcome and cared about. If my mother-in-law chooses Colorado as her new home, she has decided to move into The Palisades!
