My mother was in Renaissance for 4 years in Assisted Living and Memory Care. Our goals were safety, compassionate assistance, and an amount of stimulation acceptable to her. She received these without question, even through the pandemic! The attention to safety during that time was better than some of the hospitals where I worked. She decided how much or how little to participate in group activities. Once she moved to memory care this only improved. The staff were loving and caring with her and she was always clean and dressed. Her room was also clean with a pleasant odor. As her hearing and dementia worsened, activities became less enjoyable, but she always had a warm smile for the staff and exhibited great affection for them. It was seamless getting hospice involved at the end of her life. The administration was responsive to our needs within the constraints of client safety. Like any dining situation, some meals were better than others, but overall seemed balanced, nutritious, and modified for the client as needed. My only frustration over her time there was with the business office, but always was eventually resolved. I looked at a number of options in the Tampa Bay market and this was the best for us. Our entire family thanks them for their care.

If you are capable of living in an assisted living environment this is a great place. Don't be oversold on their capabilities if you need extra care services on top of assisted living. We reviewed the list of additional services needed prior to mom going to the Renaissance. I paid a lot more money to accommodate these services they said they could provide. They don't have the staff to accommodate it.

Just my observation: A The dining room servers are great and understanding, for what they do on a daily bases. Listing to all the residents complaints, how long it takes be waited on, and to get their food. drinks, and refills. The servers and dining room staff all need to be treated with respect, they all have families and bills that have to be met. The way they are currently treated they don't know what tomorow will bring. Two Renaissance employees Marine and Ede help help out when they are on duty makes the dining room room run smooth . The down side tis he front desk is left unmaned, no one to answer the phone or if someone needs assistance from failing or any other emergencies. Is it possible to have the marking personnel help out in the dining room? The current atmosphere feels like we're are working for Renaissance not the other way way around that Renaissance working for us. Is it true that the cleaning staff hours have been reduced?

Today marks six months since my Mom relocated a few miles from another ALF (a larger chain) to Renaissance North Tampa. My family and I was so impressed initially by everything Renaissance offered (and by its wonderful leadership and team members), but I waited six months to allow time to be very fair in my assessment. All I can say is, we are so thrilled that Mom has moved to Renaissance! She resides in the Independent Living building and is thriving! The receptionists are all very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The activities and celebrations offered are fun, varied and creative -- and Mom has immersed herself in many different classes and gatherings. She is particularly fond of the exercise classes and Bible studies. Leadership has been accessible since Day One. The entire initial process of handling the paperwork and getting her physically moved was so much smoother than I could have anticipated. And everyone working there gets an A+ for their enthusiasm, positive (and upbeat!) attitudes and always trying to be helpful! The grounds are beautiful with mature landscaping, and we all enjoy going for walks all around the campus when the weather isn't quite as hot as it is now. Mom's apartment is perfect for her needs. Moving her from a building that included Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care into a building that is strictly Independent Living was a game-changer. We are grateful for her new environment! Kudos to the employees and leadership! Thank you all so very much!

My. Wife and I moved here in assisted living about 15 months ago. Since then we have had to move my wife to the memory care facility. I visit her almost every day, always taking my dog. She is always clean and appears well cared for. They have activities for residents designed to exercise their bodies and minds. Live entertainment weekly with dj music and singing. I live in assisted living with my dog. The staff treats me well and the dog like he was king. The dining is very good and activities are numerous and well designed for our age groups. I like living here. While it is not perfect, they try and make an effort to respond to our needs. Again, I like living here.

It’s a wonderful place for residents to stay busy and have fun. Also, small pets are very much welcomed! The food is absolutely spectacular with an extremely varied selection of food choices. One can also order from the left side of the menu if desired. These food choices are available on a regular basis. Anyone who gave a negative review on the food here is either working for a competitor or not giving a true rating on the excellent food here. I’m very choosy when it comes to food. The menu here is spectacular! There are even special menu’s available for vegans, vegetarians and those who require special diets. I absolutely love living here! The staff is friendly and will do anything and everything to help anyone in need. I stay so busy here that it has completely rejuvenated my life. A special thanks to Paul and Monica who have become my heroes! ❤️❤️

This is a wonderful senior living facility. They have such friendly and helpful staff to help people enjoy living here. They have so many good activities.....exercise class, water aerobics, live music events, art, games, movies! They also have 3 wonderful meals each day, it is as nice as going to a true restaurant. The apartments are good size and nice place to live. They also have a pretty pond out front with birds and turtles who like it as much as residents like it and often sit outside to enjoy it. Rental price is reasonable for such a good facility.

I have just spent a week in a guest suite whilst visiting a family member. Knowing that I am on the other side of the world made it vital that once I could travel I could see Renaissance for myself. I couldn't have been happier. The surroundings and decor are beautiful and the staff are so welcoming and caring. I'd especially like to mention Monica, Derrick, Tiffany and Alex who were kind and helpful throughout my visit. The place is clean and fresh and the food and staff in the restaurant are great. I would highly recommend Renaissance and returned to the UK knowing that my relative was receiving thoughtful and patient care and that I can breathe a sigh of relief now that I'm home.

Hi my name is Edwin. I retired from the Long Island, New York telephone company in 1991. My wife, 4 children, and I moved to Florida. My wife was an amazing cook and the kids loved her pancakes shaped like Disney characters. We spent many wonderful, happy years together. As time passed, my wife developed severe dementia and sadly I couldnt take care of her or myself anymore. I had to move her into a facility for help. I also had to search for an independent facility for myself that would be close to her so I could visit. I found a facility I thought was the right fit. They promised me the world, but once I moved in, it was nothing like they described. I was so unhappy. I began searching for another place to call home. I toured Allegro and met with Monica Taylor the Senior Living Adviser. She had to jump through a lot of hoops. My family was very protective especially because of my previous experience at another location. I have 4 children, 13 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. She met them all. We chose Allegro because of Monica, how clean it was, its well managed, and the food. My favorite things about Allegro: the cleanliness, which is very important to me, the staff are polite and helpful, and the food is delicious. I bring my entire family in for meals because its so good. I will always cherish my memories with Allegro. I was walking to see my wife everyday. Allegro bought me a bike so my commute was easier to see her daily. That really showed how much they cared. Being at Allegro I dont feel alone anymore. When my wife passed I had my Allegro family and friends at the community to help me through it. I know making the decision to move is hard, but I am here for anyone considering Allegro. When I was scared about moving Monica introduced me to another resident who was also from New York and he helped me with the transition. I will help show you the community too, have meals with you, do activities together, and talk about our lives. Come tour and ask for Monica and Edwin, You wont be alone anymore at Allegro.

I have been the sole caregiver for my parents for the last 5 years. I love them dearly, but it has taken a toll on my health and affecting my everyday life. Its so much responsibility and I only wanted the best for them. I started my search for communities for my parents. They were in denial that they needed every day care and didnt want to leave their home. After spending several days looking in Tampa I toured and met Ali at Allegro North. She completely understood where I was coming from and listened to the last 5 years of stories. I cried and she cried. Its a scary and huge process to convince your parents to leave their home and move. Ali was with me through the entire process. She met my parents and we went through all the things they like to do and their daily regimen. She helped them realize they couldnt do those things without me and definitely couldnt do them alone. She introduced them to other couples at the community who also had to come to terms that they needed help, but it didnt mean losing your quality of life. We had dinner with two delightful couples and my parents hit it off with them immediately. With Alis continuous support my parents realized they could actually do more at the community than they could with me helping at their house. They offered activities all throughout the day. They could enjoy sit down dining, restaurant style, 3x times a day. They had happy hour and entertainment. They also had games like bridge, dominoes, and exercise classes my mom could go to. They never realized just how much they were missing out on. My parents have been at Allegro for 3 months now. Its the happiest Ive ever seen them. Its like they got their life back. Allegro staff have been amazing through the entire process. Ali even helped set up movers for the transition too. I cant thank the Allegro team enough for giving my parents a second chance at life and help giving me my life back. Now I can go see them and enjoy time with them instead of completing a TO DO list and being exhausted. Thank you Ali and Allegro!

Hi, Im Robbie Wilson, I live at Allegro North. I have been here several years and love it! My best friend is Wanda Horn. We have been friends for 60 years! Wandas husband unfortunately passed away last year, and she was so alone. I kept telling her how much I enjoyed living here. She came to visit and had dinner with me. She fell in love with the community too. She decided to sell her house and move to Allegro with me. Living at Allegro together has been wonderful! I get to see my best friend every day! We attend church together, we do daily activities together, we eat meals together. We keep each other accountable for staying active. We chose Allegro for many reasons. Monica, the Senior Living Adviser was a huge influence and her passion is evident. Shes a part of our lives now. Its also very clean at Allegro. We have housekeeping every week help us with our apartment. There are so many activities here. You chose the ones you want to do. Youre not pressured to do anything you dont want to do but invited and encouraged to participate. The staff here are great! If youre considering a community, come have lunch with us and we can show you why we love it! Our favorite part about living here is, You have your privacy and keep your independence.

I was living at another community and became very unhappy. They kept increasing my pricing for my care. My son and I went and toured Allegro. Stephanie was so understanding and listened to me for a long time. She let my daughter and I have lunch that day too. I was able to meet other residents and the food was great! I chose to move to Allegro for these reasons and because they offered me a care plan that would not keep increasing. I have been here for almost 6 months and love it very much!

I am still very independent but realized I was getting older and was spending a lot of time alone and at home. I had been pushing off looking at independent living options because I was nervous. I decided to tour Allegro and I was surprised actually at how active and social everyone was that lived there. It made me realize at how much I was missing out on. I moved in last month and it was one of the best decisions Ive made. Not only did I stay independent but I gained a new circle of friends and I stay so active. I am impressed every week at all the activities and events they offer for residents and wanted to share. Allegro actually gave my life purpose and quality.

have been considering Independent Living communities for some time now. It makes me nervous because its such a big decision. I saw the advertisement in the paper that I could come visit Allegro and join them for an event with no obligations. I went to their Valentines Event on Friday. I was immediately greeted as soon as I walked in with a welcome and a smile. I then went upstairs and the young ladies hosting the event were so welcoming! The community was stunning! The event was beautiful! They had a huge chocolate buffet with chocolate martinis. I met other residents who showed me their apartment. It made me realize how they still had their independence and also had social events like this every week too! I would have so many new friends. They didnt even try to pressure me or sell me they just wanted me to have fun and said they would call me later. I was so impressed by the community, the staff, and this event. Allegro is first on my list!

I married my husband Jim and 2 months later we were told he needed a heart transplant. He had a left ventricle assist device attached to his heart while waiting for the transplant, but unfortunately he passed away 8 months later. I was devastated and felt so alone! I had been friends with Cindy for over 40 years and she told me about a community she lived at in Florida called Allegro. I went to visit and I met Stephanie who walked me through everything. It isnt often that a service, a product, a company...let alone an experience...lives up to its marketing hype. Allegro North Tampa Independent Living certainly did! They not only welcomed me, they embraced me in every sense of the word.Management of this multi-faceted facility, including grounds, buildings, food service, housekeeping, socializing activities, off site events, transportation, and much more can not be easy but they really do care and really do try.It didnt take me long to realize that I hit the jackpot when it came to an attractive and safe place to stay. I toured Allegro last week. I have been so unsure about moving into a community because I am very active and social. I did not want to lose that. I was able to see several activities that day and was invited to join! I was surprised at how much they do! They have social outings, trips, and entertainment with happy hour every weekend! I met Ava Nicole the activities director. I told her things my friends and I like to do for example water aerobics at the YMCA and was surprised again they had those activities on their calendar. Allegro is a great place to live. I was nervous about moving in and not knowing anyone, but I have made a lot of new friends that I spend most of my day with now. My favorite part about living here is that we have a voice too. We attend monthly town hall meetings and vote on things we want to see at our community and things we want to do. Management listens! Figuring out the best assisted living environment for your senior is downright terrifying! Over the past few years I have, unfortunately, had to make that tough decision for my mother, father, and mother-in-law. Ive spent copious amounts of time shopping around for just the right fit for each of them since they all had varying degrees of needs. As each situation changed with our seniors, once again we needed to look further to make sure we were meeting all of their individual needs properly and I was so thankful and grateful when I found Allegro North Tampa. The sales professional I first met with, Stephanie, helped me get my parents settled into memory care and she was extremely efficient in making the process smooth and easy for me. As my father had to transition out to a hospital and then a hospice care facility the caregiving team at Allegro North Tampa were more like family as they helped me in each and every way during that stressful time. As it became necessary to relocate my mother-in-law from another small ALF that was not meeting her needs, I was so blessed to find Monica, as our sales professional. Monica was so precious to me personally with the meticulous way she tried her best to assist our family down to each and every detail! We needed to quickly relocate my mother-in-law and she figured out a plan so my mom and MIL could share adjoining suites and be close to one another and she made all of this happen quickly! The caregivers in memory care are absolutely fantastic! My life is so much easier because of their level of care and concern for my loved ones. These caregivers are the men and women who tirelessly give my mother & mother-in-law the type of individualized care that is desperately needed because of their level of dementia and Alzheimers. Ive witnessed so much personalized love and attention provided to our family and to the other residents and I marvel at how well the caregivers recognize when someone just needs a simple hug or a smile or a gesture of love that can change a seniors attitude in a split second. That only comes because the caregivers spend quality time interacting with the residents and actually know them as people.Transitions are never easy, but the fabulous staff at Allegro North Tampa honestly care! I cannot thank them all enough for giving to my mom and mother-in-law the love and attention as if they were all just an extended part of the family. Thanks is not enough, but our family would like to thank the Allegro North Tampa family on behalf of Doris, Aaron, and Ouida

I have many years experience as an office manager for senior living communities in Pennsylvania so I know first hand how bad or how great a community can be. I wanted to THANK all of the Allegro Staff for their kindness & care that they give to all of the residents especially their above and beyond attitudes & willingness to help in times like these. As residents we can go to bed at night knowing that we are safe and in great hands and wake up in the morning to see smiling faces of people who care and with good food waiting for us. • Schedule a tour and visit the physical location to make sure community description is accurate.
  • Confirm with community manager that living and services required for you or your loved one's unique needs and budget are met.
  • Check with state government websites for additional provider licensing and information.

If there is any information that is inaccurate or needs to be updated, please contact Assisted Living Center.

Assisted Living Center uses the term "assisted living" or "personal care" to inform users that a community provides assistance with some Activities of Daily Living (ADL's). It may not meet your state's legal definition required for that level of care.
