Aspira Wildpine is an incredible community where warmth and kindness are part of everyday life. The staff is genuinely wonderful caring, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile. You can feel how much they truly value the people they support. What touches me most is the change I’ve seen in my mother. I have never seen her so happy. She feels safe, respected, and surrounded by people who treat her like family. The atmosphere at Aspira Wildpine doesn’t feel like a facility; it feels like home a place filled with comfort, compassion, and joy. I’m deeply grateful for everything the team does. I am spending approximately 40 days at The Wildpine Retirement Residence, Stittsville, ON for respite care following knee replacement surgery. The competent staff here are stellar, encouraging, always with a smile. I am staying in a comfortable studio room on the Assisted Living floor. I have seen how caring the staff are to all the residents who live here permanently.

I had the pleasure to Visit a family friend for the first time since they moved in. Up on my arrival I witnessed a Lady helping the Visitor or the Client getting out of their car. Their loved one was needing help. She hugged the family member and wave them goodbyes. It took me by surprise and I asked her; is this your sister or Family member and she replied: almost I am the Manager here. With a smile; She asked who I was coming in to see and when I replied she said: Oh, Awesome! I love when family visits! Follow me and I will show you their beautiful Suite! She walked with and let me entered there apartment and capture the moment that my friend’s realized that It was me visiting. On my way out; she had printed the picture and gave it to me. I was blown away. She knew all her staff; they all saluted each other when we walked to my relative suite. You could feel the warmth and caring attitude. Lovely Manager Lady; You Know who you are and your employer is Lucky to have you. You clearly care about your beautiful home and Who Lives and worked there!

The greatest thing I ever did for my father was find and get him a room at Wildpine Residence. It is a relatively new home that is well organized, has excellent cleaning crews and the building is being maintained at a very high standard. That is all great, but what separates Wildpine from its competitors is the staff; from the top down the staff is incredibly energetic, kind, and engaged with the tenants while sincerely caring for your loved one. Many of the staff have their own family residing in the building and that shows the staff’s confidence in the facility to provide adequate and caring services. I can’t say enough good things, nor am I eloquent enough to write my sincere appreciation to the whole staff at Wildpine for taking care of my father. Incredible group of people that have come together at Wildpine to create an environment unmatched in its ability to go above and beyond your wishes and your family’s needs.

Wildpine is a very SAFE and VERY clean residence. ALL of the staff are wonderful and very accomodating from the maintenance, cleaning, kitchen, dining, nursing and activities staff. The reception staff are always smiling, efficient and very friendly. The upper management staff lead by example in numerous ways and by participating in the grand activities that are planned for the residence. The food is VERY good and the menus are well thought out. My mom recently broke her ankle in her room and the head of nursing sat with her for 8 hours straight making repeat calls for the ambulance. The kitchen/dining room manager came to offer us meals to be delivered to my mom's room since our ambulance wait ended up being 20 HOURS. The General Manager came up many times to help care for and check on my mom. Their team effort was AMAZING and totally reduced our anxiety levels. Terrific, compassionate and professional teamwork!

After touring this building with Frances the General Manager I can tell you no expense was spared! From the warm welcoming dining area, the back outdoor patio, and the rooms with beautiful ceilings anyone would be happy to live here! Access the assisted living is also a plus because a transition from independent to assisted would be a breeze! Highly recommend! Staff and service at wildpine is unmatched!

Wildpine is amazing! We went for a special event and were offered a tour and the facility is gorgeous! They offer 3 levels of care including assisted living so you can Age in place with support. There are so many services: 24 hour nursing on staff, 2 doctors come one day per week , Home community care available on site Plus weekly housekeeping & laundry, Phone cable, internet included and it is a Pet friendly facility including Sadie (who belongs to the GM) and is a licensed therapy dog In the lovely dining room there is assigned seating with 2 seatings per day of 3 meals with 2 meal choices or a full a la carte menu to order from! Homemade Soup and dessert is included ! There is also a 24 hour open area with a fully stocked fridge There is a Private dining room for family celebrations which can be booked to include catering A large activity room with library and daily chair exercise classes. A movie room, hair salon and bar area. So many places to relax, be social or be active The apartment building backs onto conservation area and they have an Outdoor terrace for bbqs and popsicle parties. There are covered swings! Parking is covered plus there is an underground heated assigned garage Respite care is $85 per night Trial stay is minimum 30 days at the same rate. We saw a large 1 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, kitchenette which includes meal plan for $ 6175. The Studio apartments start at $3000 Just off Stittsville Main St, you can walk to Dollar Dtore, Shoppers, restaurants and the grocery store Everyone was so friendly there and you could tell the staff enjoys their jobs! My mother has been an independent living resident the past couple of years; however, due to her changing healthcare needs we needed to move her to the dependent living floor. While I envisioned that this would have been a negative experience from my mother's perspective, it has been nothing but positive. During my visit with my mom today she expressed how much she loves the service at her new location. It’s the right amount of care for her needs. My parents transitioned from their home to a double suite at Wildpine in August of 2021. The assisted living floor was their 1st stop and then after my dad passed my mom moved to an independent living floor and was quite content. Wildpine is the best residential facility in Stittsville. The administration, medical, culinary, recreation and awesome custodial staff are compassionate helpful supportive and wonderfully inclusive. Your elders’ needs are met with service excellence at Wildpine. The entire staff provides wrap around care for your loved ones - which is also care for me too

After breaking my pelvis I spent a month at Wildpine in order to recover. The staff was engaging and happy and very helpful when needed. The room was accessible and the perfect size to safely and easily move around. I felt at home :). It was lovely being so close to my clinics for treatment, shops and beautiful walking paths to keep my spirits up. My month at Wildpine was truly a saving grace for me and even though I was ready to go home I was sad to leave. I would highly recommend the residence to all.

My parents were there. My mom had a bodily function accident and used both bells in her room for help. She did not get help for two hours. My mom ended up in hospital and we lost her. My dad who was in another floor was in lock down to his room more than once because of COVID. He cannot hear or see properly and had dementia. The last time he was confined to his room we had lost my mom and he didn’t understand anything. He got a bit violent and was sent to hospital and he never returned. I lost both parents 5 weeks apart. I do believe in both cases they could have been there for them. You cannot leave a elderly person alone like that, the alarms must ALWAYS be answered by staff.

This building is only about 4 years old and is bright and clean. There is a huge outdoor patio and the grounds are nicely kept. We toured with Shari and just when we thought we were done she told us there was more to see. They have so many activities - there is absolutely something for everyone. The rooms are a great size. Mom loved her room and her view. The staff are wonderful and so patient. The one consistent thing my mother always said was how good the food is - she wouldn't change a thing. There are two beautiful dogs who are there most days and they love to be petted. If you are even thinking about moving to an independent or assisted living building you owe it to yourself to check out Wildpine.

I agree with some of the reviews posted by others: 1. Wildpine might be an acceptable facility if the loved one you're thinking of sending there is healthy, energetic and can essentially take care of themselves short of cooking and cleaning. However, if they have any kind of health condition that leaves them weak or with low energy, they won't get adequate support or respectful treatment at Wildpine. 2. Furthermore, complaints from residents/caregivers seem to be regularly met with lip service instead of action, or the bare minimum if they do act, and if you try to advocate on their behalf the staff will disingenuously explain how the problem is always out of their control but they're doing everything they can, when they aren't and just want you to stop bothering them. Even when complaints are brought to the attention of Frances, General manager, she listens with an attentive ear, apologizes profusely but it ends there. It is either hypocrisy or weak management, either one is not acceptable and this attitude/culture seems to affect the whole organization. No one seems to take responsibility for their actions 3. It is a nice building and very clean. There are some good nurses and personal care workers, but they disappear very quickly.

My mother was introduced to Wildpine as a convalescing resident after heart surgery. After 30 day recovery at Wildpine, she did not want to leave. The staff and management at Wildpine are warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable in their industry. The residence itself is clean and well appointed and close to many local amenities. There is genuine affection and respect towards residents and amongst the staff. I highly recommend this residence for seniors looking for a safe, compassionate and fun environment.
