Mom recently moved in and seems to be liking it. Everyone is really nice. The facility is clean and supports my mom wish to live an independent lifestyle. Everyday there are activities to attend. They have hosted a couple of BBQs on the weekend for family to attend. So far, she is loving it and everyone knows her name. It offers a good social aspect for my mom and the assurance that there is someone there 24 hrs to help her if she needs it. I can visit any time and take her out whenever. Really great place for my mom to live.

My parents moved into the Enclave at Round Rock from out of state in May and it has been a positive experience for our whole family. The staff has been professional, knowledgeable and always cheerfully helpful and the other residents have gone out of their way to meet and welcome the new members of the community.

My husband and I have lived at The Enclave for two and a half years. We have a new ED, and in the past three months our dining experience is much improved. We enjoy the people and activites going on.

9/24/23 This review is up against the space limit google allows so I must be brief. 1. True, Dr who makes rounds on site is selected by the Enclave but not on staff - no practical difference from resident's point of view. My critique stands. 2. Van problem absolutely did happen for 4 mo 2 years ago, and more recently no available driver. 3. Greatly beloved activities director QUIT because promised and budgeted funds necessary for activities were not released. 4. Kay (high up corporate) spoke to the community last week and said she felt high turnover was normal and should not be expected to end. No organization can provide competent quality service without a stable functioning team and the fact she feels this is normal is horrifying. Could give a long list of examples of how this plays out in real life, what I've given is just a sample. Update 9/19/23 They just fired another wonderful director. Turnover in all positions is absolutely insane, and as a result all services are spotty, incomplete. Brandy, the director just fired, worked endless hours plugging gaps created by vacancies. She, like several other wonderful directors, was completely blindsided. I seriously think that something illegal is going on and when a director get's close to figuring that out they fire them. My mother in law was nearly killed by incompetent med management. They did not record end dates on prescriptions, and they were giving her every medicine she had ever been prescribed in the last two years - things that were supposed to be used briefly like 2 different cough medicines. EVERYTHING is done incompetently like this but not generally because no one cares. They hire mostly caring people, but the turnover leads to complete chaos. ----------------------- My mother in law lives here. When she first moved in we found that things were good, but not as advertised with many services promised not delivered in reality. For example the vehicle used to take residents on outings and to doctors was not working and it took about 4 months! to get it working. Staff turnover has been staggering and the reason seems to be twofold: In some cases the pay is too low, but even more important staff we have been friendly with have told us that they are prevented from doing their jobs well and they don't feel good about the service they are delivering. The end result is you are always dealing with new employees who are trying to learn their job and becoming increasingly dismayed by the situation they find themselves working in. For example there have been extended periods when there was no cook working in the kitchen, and overwhelmed servers are trying to figure out how to stand in the gap. Their hearts are admirable, but the results are not good. But the situation becomes extremely dangerous when it comes to medical issues. Because of memory problems we need and pay $300/mo for daily administration of medicine. Over and over we find untaken medications beside my mother in law's chair, despite months of repeated instruction that they MUST watch her take the medicine, not just deliver it. Unless we come in every single day and check on her there is no way to know if she is getting her medicines. Similarly there is supposed to be an on staff doctor. We assigned this doctor to be her primary with Medicare so we depend on this doctor to direct her care. Since mobility is a problem this seemed great. But when she has urgent medical needs there is no access. The doctor only comes to the facility once per week - down from 2x per week when we started. It is possible to schedule an eventual appointment far in the future for very low priority problems anything more serious and she has no medical options except an ambulance ride for $thousands to the ER. Even when she is in extreme pain with obvious medical symptoms the nursing staff seems to have no idea what to do and is bound by the limitations of their training to do nothing. Bottom line, the situation here is dire and dangerous. Don't put anyone you love here.

We moved in 9/24/2022. The accommodations are excellent but, the food service has been deteriorating steadily since then. Not the fault of the wait staff but, seems to methods and procedures in the kitchen itself. Admin and other staff have performed spectacularly to make it work by assisting available kitchen staff and waiters make it work at mealtime. Their efforts are appreciated, but the whole operation is continually failing. This morning it hit its low point. I won't go into details. Better pay to maintain kitchen and wait staff may be one solution. One of many........

My parents have been residents here for close to 2 years now. They moved in during the pandemic. There have been several protocols, and safety measures that have been in place and I think that is great and gives me peace of mind. I love that my parents don't have to worry about their meals and their apartment layout is really nice. There are activities for them to do and the staff & friends look for you if they haven't seen you in a while. *My one complaint is this: my parents have a system for if/when they leave the facility. Part of the protocol is that residents must sign out and back in. For my parents where one is on a walker, and the other with heart problems, it can be exhausting to have to walk down to the front desk to sign out, walk to their car, run their errands, have to sign back in, walk or drive back to their apartment, if there's groceries, all the carrying and lifting that goes with it. There was a director that used to allow for calling down to the front desk to check out. But that has since been eliminated for whatever reason. I'm just asking for the director to consider your residents who it may take a lot of energy to do regular daily activities, why require them to do strenuous & mandatory procedures that are inconvenient to them? Shouldn't the goal be to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable to them? When issues are brought up in town hall meetings, the response is "that's just how it is" or "we can't change it". Listen to your residents and make an effort to meet their needs, not your own.

My husband and I visited the Enclave in Round Rock and spoke with Amanda Rodriguez, the Sales Representative . She was very helpful and informative. She answered all my questions and added information I had not thought to ask. Love the Waiting List they have set up. The facility and grounds are open, airy, bright and cheery. The apartments are lovely, spacious and efficiently laid out. The Bistro and Restaurant are beautiful. The food and all menu choices sound delish. The classes sound interesting and fun as well. Everyone is active. The price is quiet reasonable with all that is included. The Enclave is set up for a smooth transition to Assisted Living should that need arise. This is a lovely place to start the next phase of life.

Last year I had a major life change that made it necessary to find a new place to live where I could live independently and really call home. My search began just before the pandemic hit. I looked at the 2 places by way of a real visit and several others virtually. The Enclave had a floor plan that was just what I wanted. The management staff I met and worked with are the kind of people with whom you can connect and trust. The pandemic made moving very difficult but I was able to move in in the middle of June. I was able to successfully and comfortably move in only because of the way above expected effort and help of the Enclave staff. It is still unbelievable to me how much they cared and worked so hard to assist me. After unpacking I knew I was home. I have since found the food, environment, and accommodation to the pandemic well above what I expected.

Very nice place! Reminds us of a classy hotel. My mother-in-law found her step again with all the activities and socializing. Shes always doing something now and when we stop by shes out and about! Weve now been residents at Enclave for a month & were thrilled with our decision. The staff members are all friendly & helpful from the Director to the maintenance & dining room servers. We have an amazing chef offering 3 delicious meals every day. The entertainment & excursions have been delightful. Overall its like a full time vacation. I highly recommend the Enclave at Round Rock.

I had the opportunity to visit The Enclave during their Grand opening Open House. Each staff member that I came into contact with genuinely seemed to love what they do! It was refreshing. It was like a cruise-ship on land and it was right here in our community. The staff members and the residents that I visited with were hospitable and friendly. They showed joy and enthusiasm for their professions and for the care and services that they provide. As a financial professional, I help clients plan for their long term care needs and plans for their financial future. Visited at the end of August 2019. Was very impressed with the layout and the many amenities at The Enclave. I thought the bldg and apartments were tasteful and welcoming. The staff that I did meet were thoughtful and helpful. Very knowledgeable with answers to any questions I had. This is a place I feel I could easily call home.

Just a massive shout out to all the staff on site tonight with the unfortunate fire at the enclave. Tricia and the staff there did such amazing things to keep the residents safe! Truly inspirational. I saw the fire and was able to stop in before the fire trucks and everyone arrived to offer assistance. I was a chef for years in senior living and I just had instinct to stop and help. I would be proud to be a senior someday living with that staff around me! Again major kudos to the staff for handling everything so well and getting everyone to safety!

Mom moved in on May 1. The entire staff was very welcoming, upbeat, cheerful and professional. In particular, the office staff (Shawn, Kelly, Jennifer & Katie), dining (all servers), maintenance (Sergio) and cleaning personnel were attentive and helpful. The facility is bright with lots of light. There is already a full list of daily activities for the month of May. My sister and I are thrilled that mom living at The Enclave at Round Rock got off the such a positive start!
