After many years of struggles here at Brookdale Santa Monica Gardens finally we have a wonderful Director who is young, smart and beautiful. Executive Director Mia improves not only my life but the lives of everyone in this community. I enjoy this location because I can walk to the ocean every day and I also enjoy shopping in the various boutiques along Montana avenue. I am very pleased with the staff, they are amazing, friendly and warm everyday. I still enjoy my independence and the main reason I keep returning to this community it's because I know when my time comes to get higher care, the staff here will take good care of me.

Very fine residents at Brookdale Santa Monica Gardens. Mia the director is wonderful and the staff and nurses are amazing as well. We enjoy sitting outside under the sun and watching all those lovely flowers in the front courtyard. Also, there are many wonderful performances here, there's singing, dancing, and great guitars. It's all joyful being here for us! Resident ambassador Charles is amazing with Poetry every week and resident Rose is amazing with book club discussions. I love living here!!!

This is a good facility. The staff is very caring and they kept all the residents safe and sound during the pandemic. This Brookdale has two elevators but only one seems to always work and the other one is(on the left side) is constantly broken.

The place looks amazing; i can easily tell it’s very well maintained. The staff are very accommodating and they made us feel very comfortable. Thanks to Lidia, Kevin and Ralph for taking time to answer all our questions; they were very patient.

Santa Monica Gardens is a wonderful place for my mother. She is in a great circle of friends, has plenty of fun and intellectual activites, and professional caring staff. The only reason I havent given 5 stars is because of the ongoing elevator problems that have plagued Santa Monica Gardens again and again during my mothers three years here. If Brookdale can go a year without a major elevator delay, Ill gladly give this wonderful place 5 stars.

This was the best place for my mom! You are in good company and taken care of by the friendly, loving staff. Evelyn and Michael do everything possible to make life work for clients and family. The building is well maintained the food is very good! I cant say enough about Brookdale Gardens they were fantastic!

Ive never been to Brookdale Santa Monica the Gardens, I actually worked at Brookdale South Bay, I know the Executive Director at the Gardens, Mike Emerson and Mike Emerson was the Executive Director at Brookdale South Bay when it was Pacific Inn and Mike Emerson gave me my start and I will always be forever grateful to Mike Emerson and my days as a Brookdale Associate may be over and in life I learn that you always give credit and respect to the people that gave me a hand up and Mike Emerson is one that gave me a chance and I honestly dont begrudge anyone for moving on and moving up to a better position in their Professional career and I believe that if Mike Emerson was still at Brookdale South Bay, selfishly I would still be there and again Brookdale Santa Monica Gardens is a better place due to Mike Emersons leadership! I myself is a better person for working under Mike Emerson for almost 4 years.
