After a fire from Atria Pacific Palisades.her stayed in atria Tarzana is more spacious than where she came from being a caregiver with Victoria Pushee for 8 years . This is the best Place for seniors Management was so organized. One thing I really admire was thier Administration correct me if I’m wrong the meeting of All the Department Heads in admin office every day was amazing I’ve been observing that since the day we came this place coz I work also in a Facility like this before as a Housekeeping Supervisor. While Doing Caregiving Job . Its so nice talking some issues and problems everyday I think .than working like a boss without hearing issues how to solve certain problems I really love looking at the bosses in Administration Office if only the previous place I work before long time ago would be like this I maybe not here now. I love Erma’s Administration And also Nonie she so sweet ™.speaking of Dinning Room also eventhough I am not eating with my Client I’ve noticed the Fair Treatment Not only once I was asked by a server while waiting my Client finishing to eat. We moved my 93 year old uncle into Atria Tarzana six months ago after touring 8 other highly rated senior facilities. We found everyone from doorman to receptionist to marketing director to line workers to be professional, friendly, respectful, helpful and happy. The residents were happy and spoke highly of their living environment. The entire facility is spotless. The apartment we chose was immaculate, bright, and had a good vibe to it. Uncle had lived alone in his house of 60 years after the passing of his wife two years ago and surprisingly adapted to his new home almost immediately. He was greeted and welcomed by everyone. He is happy! His living in a social environment, eating outstanding meals in the beautiful dining room and making lots of new friends has really perked him up. The daily activities are plentiful and interesting. In 6 months Uncle has gone from being stuck in a wheelchair, under weight, lonely and sad after the loss of his wife to being vibrant again, walking without a walker or wheelchair, healthy and thriving. We are thrilled!

I highly recommend ATRIA Tarzana for your loved one. We had a unique need for a family member. Upon meeting with Rafi and Irma, their focus on resident and customer experience was clearly evident. All the staff are attentive and caring. You are greeted warmly at the front door, and throughout every other part of the building. They don't shy away from solving a complicated problem or request. All of the staff go out of their way to be kind and supportive. The community engagement organized by Micah is excellent! Mario and Char are incredible at involving everyone in a wide variety of activities. With their infectious energy, they bring smiles to everyone's faces. Nick, Chris, and the entire Food and Beverage Team are always accommodating and kind. The quality and meal experience is wonderful. Most of all, Wendy has gone above and beyond to organize any required care, in collaboration with the amazing care providers. I cannot express enough the kindness and peace I felt upon my first visit to Atria Tarzana. I was searching for a new home for my mother, who was relocating from out of state, and as soon as I walked through the doors, I knew I had found the right place. From the moment I met Rafi, I felt reassured. He took the time to sit down with me, asking thoughtful questions about my mother, her preferences, and our reasons for the move. His genuine care and willingness to understand our situation made all the difference. I left that initial meeting feeling more confident in our decision. As we toured the facility, I was struck by the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Staff and residents alike greeted us with smiles and friendly hellos. It was evident that everyone was truly interested in connecting, making even brief interactions feel special. Each moment spent with the staff and residents felt like a gift”a reminder that people there were seen, heard, and cared for. The apartments were just what I was looking for”spacious, well-equipped, and designed to feel like home. We wanted an apartment that included all appliances, plus in-unit washers and dryers, so my mother could feel more at home. Additionally, she needed a handicap-accessible bathroom, and they delivered with a large space for wheelchair access and safety bars. I was happy to know that my mother would have her own space to live in, while also feeling comforted knowing support was available 24/7. I am incredibly grateful to have found Atria Tarzana as my mother’s next home. While transitions can be challenging, I wouldn’t want to make this journey anywhere else. I wholeheartedly recommend Atria Tarzana to anyone looking for a nurturing and supportive environment for their loved ones.

Can't say enough about this place . During such uncertain and scary times it was very difficult to find an assistant living for my mother. With Covid isolation became our biggest concern . So we began to search for the perfect fit for her new home . 2 months ago we found Atria after an exhausting search we feel in love with this property. This Place is exceptionally clean, beautiful and spacious apartments and outdoor space. The staff are so kind and seem to be very happy being there and my mom does not stop talking about how she is being treated like royalty by everyone. My mother was hesitant to make the move so i had to force her hand knowing that this move could potentially provide my mom purpose to live and be social like she always has been again instead of just staying home alone watching TV all day long, so to hear how happy she is, the friends she has made all the programs she is going to and how much she loves Atria takes so much weight off my shoulders knowing that i made the right decision. A very short 2 months ago I never imagined her being social again but she is the happiest she has been in a very long time . I can't thank the staff here enough my family and I are so grateful for your work , compassion and patience. You have become part of our family and we are eternally grateful. For anyone looking for a safe place I would most definitely recommend Atria Tarzana.

Moving a parent from their home into a retirement facility is not an easy or fast decision. However, Atria Tarzana did everything to make my Mom feel comfortable and "at home". I recently went for a tour of the facility with my grandma and I must say, every single person we spoke with was amazing! It started right as we walked through the door where they greeted us by name and provided us refreshments while we waited for our tour to begin. The sales director who conducted our tour was fantastic and was able to answer any and every question we had. We also were able to sit down and have lunch after looking at a few rooms and the lunch was delicious, the chef even came out to greet us and really made us feel special. They won’t be disappointed. 2019 Review My dad has lived at the Atria Tarzana since April, 2019. It was the best decision that HE made! When he felt the time had come to move to an assisted living facility, we toured a few in the valley and a couple in the South Bay (where he previously lived). We all fell in love with the Atria in Tarzana. Rafi met with us, gave us coffee, and then a tour of the facility. My dad immediately was impressed with the coffee. To this day, he still savors it everyday. A week later, my dad made the decision to move to the Atria Tarzana and moved in shortly after that. From the beginning he has participated in a wide array of activities from exercise classes, to lectures, to theatre and music discussions, and other special events. The staff makes you feel at home. There's Mario, Lucy, Nune, Akansha, Wendy, Mildred, Janeth, Kimberly, Chester, Gabi, and Chris, to name a few who have gone above and beyond to take care of my dad (sorry, I can't list them all!). Even during this pandemic, the facility goes out of its way to care for all the residents. Shak (the Executive Director) is hands on and takes the time to get to know all the residents and their families. You will not be disappointed in the Atria Tarzana!

We’re so pleased that our mom is at Atria, Tarzana. Each department is exemplary. The concierge desk is always staffed by people who are able to deal with whatever the need may be. They’re very professional and caring. They forward requests in a timely manner and really are on top of all aspects of the needs of residents and family! We never feel like our requests are not taken seriously. The driver's and are so courteous and accommodating. The food is superb!! The dining room is beautiful and elegant. The dining room staff are very gracious and welcoming. So much of the time kitchens put out fresh fruit that looks pretty but is not ripe or sweet. Atria Tarzana always serves ripe and sweet fresh fruit!!! The nurses are wonderful and very attentive. This is probably the most important aspect. We’ve only encountered caring nurses and nurses assistants. The L.V.N. Staff and assistant staff always know what’s going on with my mom. There’s never any problems with communication as far as doctor orders. They are very thorough and exact. The activities, physical exercise and movement classes, informative discussions, outings and entertainment are first rate and stimulating. We wish our mom felt strong enough to attend more often but the events she has attended she commented on with a lot of enthusiasm and praise. The housekeeping staff are great! My mom’s apartment is always super neat and clean. When our mom first moved in, we thought we’d do some cleaning ourselves to supplement or boost the housekeeping, but we found that there’s really no need to do so! They do a first rate job and it looks like it’s done often! The maintenance department has done a super job putting furniture together for our mom and hanging pictures. Any plumbing or electrical problems are taken care of quite quickly! All in all, we feel like our mother is very very well cared for. This wasn’t the case at an Assisted Living Facility where our mom was previously. We felt as though our mom was neglected. We feel like there’s zero neglect of senior citizens at Atria Tarzana. To the contrary, we feel that senior citizens are embraced at Atria Tarzana. If you or your family is considering a move to Atria Tarzana, this reviewer thinks you’re definitely going to be VERY PLEASED!!!

This place was the best! As soon as I walked in I could tell it spot less from top to bottom, didn't have that odor you get from other senior living centers. Not only that, everyone in there always had a smile on their face, and genuinely want to help you out with whatever you need. Such a relief knowing people you love with me under the care of everyone here!

My grandparents have been at Atria in Tarzana for 4 years and have been genuinely happy and healthy. The team at Atria is out of this world and they truly pride themselves on making sure their residents are taken care of and give their families the peace of mind of knowing that their loved ones have a quality place to call home. The facility is clean and inviting, but the "stars" of the show here is truly the staff and the management. Check them out if you are in the area, the place really sells itself but the experience of working with the team is well worth the visit.

My mom has been at Atria Tarzana for over 2 years. When placing her there, we toured many facilities in the area, and Atria Tarzana stood out for several reasons. It is a very well-maintained smaller-scale facility with personalized attention. Also, the rooms are generously sized (important given that she was coming from her home). The team there is top-notch and goes the extra mile to care for their residents. The services are expansive and include concierge and transportation services (run by the fantastic Nune). The care staff is well-run by Luci and Cinthia (no easy feat!). The facility and resident quarters are kept in top-form by the maintenance team (run by the unflappable Jordan), who handles requests from big to small. Shak, the Executive Director, has managed the facility with distinction during the challenging covid period. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Atria Tarzana.

My dad has lived at the Atria for more than 5 years now. He couldn't be happier and neither could I. They have taken such good care of him given the current situation. The building is always spotless, catered food brought to him for every meal and personal staff visits on a regular basis. The staff was incredibly efficient is getting the entire community vaccinated. I know he is looking forward to resuming all of the great activities that he loves to participate in such as bingo, crafts, current event lectures, and themed party nights. Kudos to Shaq and the entire community for keeping him safe and happy. I can't recommend this place enough!

My Mother has been at Atria Tarzana for over 10 years. She has been very happy at Atria. The staff is unbelievably wonderful and helpful when she needs something done. She has been enjoying many of the activities and entertainment that Atria has offered in the past. The facility is always immaculate. The staff as a whole have been amazing especially during this last year during of Covid. I highly recommend this facility.

My grandmother moved into Atria Tarzana when it first opened and we have been ecstatic ever since. In fact, I wish I lived there with all of the amenities and activities. The food is delicious, the facilities are immaculate and the staff are compassionate and professional. They host events/activities for residents all day long including weekend ones specifically for residents and their grandchildren. During COVID, senior management and staff have gone above and beyond to keep the residents safe and well cared for including overseeing the well-run vaccination program. We could not be happier and if you are looking for a facility for your loved one, look no further than Atria Tarzana.

From our first visit to when we moved mom in to the last day she lived there - Atria Tarzana's staff and residents were welcoming beyond expectations. Every staff member learned mom's name and, especially in the dining room, her preferences. The care/med staff were loving and caring, giving me the peace of mind that mom was not alone and was well cared for when we weren't with her. Very quickly mom became friends with other residents. Soon she had a core group that met for meals. She played bingo, participated in book club, took arts and craft classes and attended lectures. After my dad passed mom couldn't live on her own - gratefully Atria Tarzana was the right place for mom. Thank you Shakeb and staff!!

Atria Tarzana is the most prestigious community that I have ever been to. The residents are absolutely amazing, and the staff consists of the most friendly people that I have ever met. They greet you with a smile, and bring a good vibe everywhere they go. They brighten up each residents day with a smile. In regards to Atria Tarzana, it is definitely worthy of 5 stars.

It is incredibly hard to single out one person or one feature of this facility that is less or more outstanding than another. I've never seen a more gracious or responsive staff. They seem ready to go over and beyond the scope of their position to accommodate without being ingratiating. Nuni, Anthony, Lucy, Irma, Angela all posses a "can do" attitude. They are all a pleasure and deserve special recognition. Overall the facility is kept impeccably. A special kudos to the maintenance staff. They are always "Johnny on the spot". They are quick, clean, competent and always pleasant. For some reason the faux trees in the hall have disappeared. Is there a blight or pestilence? The halls look barren. Please rectify. thank you for this opportunity to share our perceptions.

I currently am living at Monarch Village. After living at two different senior facilities before this one, there is no comparison! Monarch Village is the best (and the fees are all about the same). Here is a list of items I did not have before - much more aquare footage (room, big balcony, washer and dryer, dishwasher, icemaker, huge walk-in closet plus aother closet granite counters and tike floors in kitchen and bathroom, high ceiling) and large windows with a distant mountain view, southeasternn exposure (great for my plants). All the usual amenities are available such as transportation, movies exercise options , outings to restsurants.museums, parks, shopping, doctor appointments, classes, lectures, many personal services and lots more. But the best is the food. ... Great variety and well prepared wiyh an elegant forrign country-themed brunch every Sunday.
