From the minute my parents moved into Atria, they were welcomed and made to feel right at home by the staff and other residents. They were looking for a community where they could be engaged socially and physically, and took advantage of exercise and community programs. After my dad passed, we were happy that my mom continued taking part in the activities offered by Atria. The staff, including Irma, Terri, and Nune, have been wonderful with my mom and our family, and gave us complete peace of mind as we knew she was well-cared for.

I cannot express enough the kindness and peace I felt upon my first visit to Atria Tarzana. I was searching for a new home for my mother, who was relocating from out of state, and as soon as I walked through the doors, I knew I had found the right place. From the moment I met Rafi, I felt reassured. He took the time to sit down with me, asking thoughtful questions about my mother, her preferences, and our reasons for the move. His genuine care and willingness to understand our situation made all the difference. I left that initial meeting feeling more confident in our decision. As we toured the facility, I was struck by the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Staff and residents alike greeted us with smiles and friendly hellos. It was evident that everyone was truly interested in connecting, making even brief interactions feel special. Each moment spent with the staff and residents felt like a gift—a reminder that people there were seen, heard, and cared for. The apartments were just what I was looking for—spacious, well-equipped, and designed to feel like home. We wanted an apartment that included all appliances, plus in-unit washers and dryers, so my mother could feel more at home. Additionally, she needed a handicap-accessible bathroom, and they delivered with a large space for wheelchair access and safety bars. I was happy to know that my mother would have her own space to live in, while also feeling comforted knowing support was available 24/7. I am incredibly grateful to have found Atria Tarzana as my mother's next home. While transitions can be challenging, I wouldn't want to make this journey anywhere else. I wholeheartedly recommend Atria Tarzana to anyone looking for a nurturing and supportive environment for their loved ones.

I have been searching for senior living for my mother for a year and have been to 13 places and I finally stumbled upon Atria Tarzana. From the moment I walked in I felt a warm feeling and seeing how happy all the employee are and the residents I knew this would be a great fit. This transition was extremely hard but the management team made it really easy and my mother is beyond happy and now I can sleep at night knowing she is in a safe environment. I highly recommend it.

I chose this community because I liked the staff, I like the tenants living here and the comfort of living in this community. My apartment is warm and homey, I really enjoy the activities. I really can't say enough nice things about Atria Tarzana. Before my Mom moved into the facility, we visited several other retirement homes. Moving a parent from their home into a retirement facility is not an easy or fast decision. However, Atria Tarzana did everything to make my Mom feel comfortable and "at home". The staff is incredible and my Mom's last ten years couldn't have been experienced in a nicer, more caring environment. Kudos to everyone at the facility. They are hard working and amazingly patient and kind to all the residents.

Wow, what an incredible experience! A beautiful community that does not feel like a facility but a luxurious resort. Prestige quality across the board, clean, up to date with the latest technologies, and more than that, welcoming! I am blown away by the impeccable hospitality and offerings for the residents. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating. My colleague and I from Dignity Health Northridge Hospital had a visit, received a tour, and met some of the residents at the Atria in Tarzana from Rafi Rafat. Clean and well-kept. Excellent food from locally sourced produce bakeries. Thank you, Rafi Rafat and the incredible staff, for making us feel welcome! I moved my mom from a community that was brand new, much smaller but lacked service that Atria Tarzana provides. My mom is so much happier because of how she is being taken care of and treated. The residents are very welcoming and welcomed her and made her feel a part of the community. The food is also much better and she enjoys and raves about all of her meals. Though it was very emotionally difficult for her to make this huge life change, the Atria staff were instrumental in easing the transition in every way imaginable. My 80 year old sister has lived here since 2019. The community is really beautiful and clean. When you walk into the lobby you feel like you are coming home. It has a warm nest that most places don’t have. The employees are so kind to my sister and I. They truly treat us like family here and we love them. There is always something going on here. They have fun activities daily and they throw great events too. I can sleep comfortably at night knowing my sister is safe and well taken care of here.

Yesterday my family and I got a tour Atria Tarzana for my mother who needs to be in a place where care, food, cleanliness and service is a top priority. With just few words, we absolutely got that at this place. The welcoming with our name’s already printed in welcome poles, the staff that were super friendly, the clean and halfways and rooms, the attention to the care my mom needs, the high end quality restaurant style food that we were offered, the well planned and variaty of programs that are offered and much more, it all added up to everything we are looking for. I recently went for a tour of the facility with my grandma and I must say, every single person we spoke with was amazing! It started right as we walked through the door where they greeted us by name and provided us refreshments while we waited for our tour to begin. The sales director who conducted our tour was fantastic and was able to answer any and every question we had. We also were able to sit down and have lunch after looking at a few rooms and the lunch was delicious, the chef even came out to greet us and really made us feel special. Atria Tarzana is for sure a top contender for my grandmother's new home!

My aunt has lived here for a little over 5 years and she loves her home. I especially want to shout out Nune, the front desk manager. She has been at Atria Tarzana for 15 years and she is an absolute gem. She is a firecracker, like her signature red hair. She treats my aunt like her own. A lot of the staff have been with the company for over a decade so they are incredibly knowledgeable. Truly one of the best senior living communities.

There is something very special about Atria Tarzana. My dad felt that way when he first toured there. It’s been over three years since that tour and our opinion hasn’t changed. There is a unique family dynamic at this beautiful facility that we never felt anywhere else. The hands-on staff knows each resident by name and are quite familiar with their individual needs. There is a positive energy that our entire family feels when we’d visit my dad. He loved the delectable meals in the dining room (where he always invited us to join him when we visited). He enjoyed so many of the activities. Some of his favorites included bingo (of course), poker and other card games, art classes, exercise classes, lectures, concerts, movies and the list can go on and on. I don’t think any other assisted living facility (old or new) even comes close to the tastefulness and warmth that Atria Tarzana exudes. Check it out for your loved ones. They won’t be disappointed.

What I really appreciate about this community is the compassionate individuals that work here. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a warm welcoming hello by the concierge. Once inside you will get the opportunity to take a tour with Rafi who has been working with seniors for nearly a decade. Rafi has a way of making everyone feel heard and like they matter. For me this is extremely important especially when it comes to making the decision about moving into an Assisted Living. My dad has lived at the Atria Tarzana since April, 2019. It was the best decision that HE made! When he felt the time had come to move to an assisted living facility, we toured a few in the valley and a couple in the South Bay (where he previously lived). We all fell in love with the Atria in Tarzana. Rafi met with us, gave us coffee, and then a tour of the facility. My dad immediately was impressed with the coffee. To this day, he still savors it everyday. A week later, my dad made the decision to move to the Atria Tarzana and moved in shortly after that. From the beginning he has participated in a wide array of activities from exercise classes, to lectures, to theatre and music discussions, and other special events. The staff makes you feel at home. Theres Mario, Lucy, Nune, Akansha, Wendy, Mildred, Janeth, Kimberly, Chester, Gabi, and Chris, to name a few who have gone above and beyond to take care of my dad (sorry, I cant list them all!). Even during this pandemic, the facility goes out of its way to care for all the residents. Shak (the Executive Director) is hands on and takes the time to get to know all the residents and their families. You will not be disappointed in the Atria Tarzana!

I have visited several times and the place is beautiful. They provide valet parking and greet you like you are a special guest each time. If your looking for hospitality you will find it here. From our first visit to when we moved mom in to the last day she lived there - Atria Tarzanas staff and residents were welcoming beyond expectations. Every staff member learned moms name and, especially in the dining room, her preferences. The care, med staff were loving and caring, giving me the peace of mind that mom was not alone and was well cared for when we werent with her. Very quickly mom became friends with other residents. Soon she had a core group that met for meals. She played bingo, participated in book club, took arts and craft classes and attended lectures. After my dad passed mom couldnt live on her own - gratefully Atria Tarzana was the right place for mom. Thank you Shakeb and staff!!

I currently am living at Monarch Village. After living at two different senior facilities before this one, there is no comparison! Monarch Village is the best (and the fees are all about the same). Here is a list of items I did not have before - much more aquare footage (room, big balcony, washer and dryer, dishwasher, icemaker, huge walk-in closet plus aother closet granite counters and tike floors in kitchen and bathroom, high ceiling) and large windows with a distant mountain view, southeasternn exposure (great for my plants). All the usual amenities are available such as transportation, movies exercise options , outings to restsurants.museums, parks, shopping, doctor appointments, classes, lectures, many personal services and lots more. But the best is the food. ... Great variety and well prepared wiyh an elegant forrign country-themed brunch every Sunday.

It is incredibly hard to single out one person or one feature of this facility that is less or more outstanding than another. Ive never seen a more gracious or responsive staff. They seem ready to go over and beyond the scope of their position to accommodate without being ingratiating. Nuni, Anthony, Lucy, Irma, Angela all posses a can do attitude. They are all a pleasure and deserve special recognition. Overall the facility is kept impeccably. A special kudos to the maintenance staff. They are always Johnny on the spot. They are quick, clean, competent and always pleasant. For some reason the faux trees in the hall have disappeared. Is there a blight or pestilence? The halls look barren. Please rectify. thank you for this opportunity to share our perceptions.
