We have enjoyed visiting our friends & dining with them over the years .. unfortunately we are seeing a decline as there are now fewer servers in the dining room @ also the food is not the quality it was .. believe this is more to do with management than the staff as they are always pleasant even under the pressure of being over worked..

My sister and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Chancellor's Village. We toured four different Senior Living communitites, in search of the best place to move our 87 year old mother. No other place compared to the great elements of Chancellor's Village. Natalie Henley-Disher, the Sales/Marketing Director for Chancellor's Village was Fabulous; we met with her on several occasions, and there was not one question that she could not answer for us. She put us at ease with any apprehension or concern that we had, in this uncharted territory. She found us a perfect and beautiful apartment for our mom. Kristen Hansen-Revis, the Executive Director made the official signing process a breeze; she worked with us on several issues that we had, and we are so appreciative. Cindy Page, the Resident Director was also such a pleasure to deal with when we moved mom in; she came to our aid on several occasions while we were there. The resident rooms are clean; the hallways are clean; the grounds resemble a park atmosphere. The maintenance staff was responsive and the cleaning staff was excellent. The activities and dining were great. Genevieve from Powerback Rehab (located inhouse) was also excellent in working with my mother to get her strength back after 30 days in a rehab facility. We loved it there so much for my mother, that we said we would love to move there ourselves when the time comes for our own Senior Living. Do not hesitate to locate your loved one at this Senior Living facility; they are simply EXCELLENT!

My mom moved to Chancellors Village from another senior living out of town. We have been exceptionally pleased with everything about Chancellor Villgae. Everyday it is obvious the staff and administration truly care about each of the residents. I highly recommend Chancellor Village Senior Living whole heartedly for the care of our parents!

I toured Chancellor's Village as I am looking for a place for my mom. The building and grounds were clean and welcoming. The rooms/apartments are spacious compared to a lot of other senior living communities. I also like that there are graduated levels of care so mom would be able to live the rest of her life in one place. The residents I met seemed very happy and active, and the community offers many activities and outings for the residents.

The staff are so wonderful and caring! They have been there for my Uncle several times in his time of need. And even helpful with simple tasks he is confused with. The food is excellent and the building and grounds are well cared for as well. Highly recommend scheduling a free tour to check it out. We interviewed 4 independent living facilities in our area and this was the best.

Chancellor’s Village is always so welcoming to walk into when returning from an outing. This truly makes both my Dad and I feel like he is not living in a nursing home, but a senior residency. This is his new home and he loves being here.

My mom has been at Chancellor’s Village for about 4 years. At first it was wonderful. Until..the changes began. The unnecessary remodeling, the degradation of the quality of the food. Yet the cost to live there keeps rising! CV asks for resident input then just ignores it. Nothing ever changes or improves. Originally I gave you 5 stars and couldn’t say enough nice things about CV. Now, a rating of 3 stars is generous.

My mother was in independent living for a year at CV. A really excellent facility - she loved her 1 bedroom unit, the staff was superb from reception, to kitchen and housekeeping. I must especially mention April in housekeeping and Krista, the activities director. Everyone tries really hard to make the residents' experience a positive one. It's the best place in the Fredericksburg area for independent living.

My Mom moved into Chancellors Village in August 2016. Although it was an adjustment at first she is now very happy with all the friends she has made & how much it has simplified her life. Everything is there for her and if she needs to go elsewhere transportation is available. Dijon & his fellow workers who run the dining area do a superb job. There are always good choices in food & everything is immaculate. The Staff goes overboard to ensure everyone is taking of 24/7. Roxanne was the first person we had dealing's with and she was incredible in making sure my Mom felt comfortable. We looked at six different place's & my Mom decided Chancellors Village was the right place for her.

My 97 year old Mother needed assistance and care after she fell and fractured her arm. Her mental health was great. We visited Chancellor's Village and met with Sharon Kenny and Roxanne Millstead. They were excellent, super friendly and helpful even going to visit my Mother in her home. Within 2 weeks she relocated to Chancellor's Village to a one bedroom assisted living apartment. She is so happy and loves her surroundings, activities, food, the residents and staff and says she is spoiled. It cannot get better than that. Thanks Sharon and Roxanne and Chancellor's Village for making our Mother so comfortable and happy.

My Grandparents lived at Chancellor's Village for many years and they had a ball. My young family enjoyed visiting them very much. It was always a treat to have dinner with them in the gorgeous dining room that had, and continues to have, some of the best food in Fredericksburg. After a fall, my grandmother moved to the assisted living side of chancellor's Village. Her apartment was adorable and, during the spring, the view from her living room window was a gorgeous crepe myrtle in all of it's flowering beauty. Chancellor's Village is open and spacious and the staff is warm and friendly. Whether it's the marketing staff, the nursing staff or all of the wonderful people in between, you will quickly consider these people family. I guarantee it!

Chancellor’s Village is a wonderful community for our seniors! The Admin and Nursing Staff is very accommodating to its residents’ needs, and ensures that the transition in is a smooth one. The Facilities’ Staff makes sure that everything is just so for comfort. The move in coordinator made everything happen in a timely fashion. The activities are engaging and the food is fabulous!
