I rarely leave reviews but in this case I chose to as I hope it will help others who are considering Riverglen House as an option for a loved one. Our Dad moved to Riverglen House several weeks ago after it became apparent that he needed more support. To say I have been impressed with Kim, Joe and the rest of the staff would be an understatement. They have truly demonstrated that they care about their residents and their residents’ families. All questions / concerns are promptly addressed. Residents and their families are treated with respect and kindness. The facility is very clean, the apartments are bright with lots of sunlight, the food is excellent and they offer several activities for those who are interested. I have stayed overnight at my Dad’s apartment a couple of times. On those occasions, Kim and Joe have been most welcoming. Kim, Joe and the staff work hard to create a warm, friendly atmosphere at Riverglen House. Mel (LNA) has been exceptionally caring with respect to Dad’s health issues and medications. We feel very fortunate that Dad was able to find a place where he can get the assistance he needs while still maintaining his independence. Thank you, Kim, Joe, Mel and the rest of the staff at Riverglen House for all that you do.

My mom wished to move out of her house but not leave the area. She does not require assisted living, but wanted that available for when she does. I was having a hard time locating an acceptable, yet affordable senior living place where she could keep her cat. The Riverglen has been a dream come true. The staff is wonderful. The food is excellent. The proximity to downtown Littleton (right across the bridge) has been great. Now she doesn't need to think about bills and house upkeep and I don't have to worry about her all alone! I recommend the Riverglen to anyone in a similar situation.

My mother needed to move into an assisted living home with very short notice. Within 2 hours of my initial inquiry we were getting a full tour. Mom enjoyed a lunch, met some of the staff, was shown her room and gladly made her deposit. I could see the immediate release of her immense anxiety. She was able to move in the following week. The staff is amazing. The meals are homemade and delicious. The facilities are amazingly clean. I am so relieved we found Riverglen House!

The staff have been consistently kind, professional and helpful. My dad is unbelievably fortunate to be able to live here. The level of support and care meets his needs while allowing him a level of independence and privacy that just isn’t available in other places. They truly show they care about the residents, and the community is lively and welcoming. Couldn’t ask for a better situation.

Our mother wasn't at Riverglen for very long, but we can't thank everyone there enough for helping her enjoy her last few months so much--she really loved being there with everyone, and apparently they all loved her in return. The facilities are clean and comfortable, with many amenities (common room, library, washer and dryer, and plenty of activities and events), the staff were kind and thoughtful, and Joe and Annette went above and beyond to work with us and to make Mom comfortable and happy. Honestly, I can't recommend Riverglen any more highly if you have a loved one who needs assisted living. Give them a call--I promise you won't regret it!

I had a very good experience with the staff at Riverglen House in Littleton. The representative that I worked with was Stephanie and she did a OUTSTANDING job throughout the the entire process. She was helpful, caring and very professional to my mother.Stephanie was also very attentive to my needs as this experience was new to me and I was a wreck and did not know where to start! She listened, responded quickly and even came in from home on multiple occasions to help get my mum settled.I highly recommend Riverglen House to anyone needing guidance on placement for a loved one.

My mother-in-law is a resident and she loves it. She has a cute little apartment that overlooks the river. The close proximity to downtown Littleton makes it perfect for someone that no longer drives but is still very ambulatory. All her medical and social emotional needs are taken care of and have activities to keep the residents entertained and busy. The staff have gone above and beyond and are very responsive to family inquiries and my mother-in-laws needs. Highly recommend!

I do not know why theres only one star for Riverglenn b, c the place is awesome. Our mom has been living there for the past year and a half and she loves it! She has 12 children and the staff has made every one of us aware of what is happening with her care as well as her moods and health. They have group dinners at Thanksgiving, Xmas, Mothers Day, etc. and we are welcome there any time. Her care is exemplary and the staff is always happy and friendly. My mom enjoys eating with her friends at breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food seems really good! So 5 STARS for Riverglenn!! (Oh yeah...theres a wonderful BREWERY within walking distance over the covered bridge!!)
