My sister-in-law and I said to each other that we wanted to make our OWN reservations for ourselves at Welcome Home because of the great care they gave my mother-in-law! They were always making crafts, celebrating holidays and generously inviting families to join them. They took tenants on field trips to see Christmas lights and Fall leaves and picnics and more. The owners spent much time there interacting with the tenants as if they were family. They read stories to them and played games. They had Sunday worship and speakers and singers would come and fill the room with a sweet feeling; did something similar on another day of the week as well. They would have grandma ready and in a dress when I wanted to take her to the temple. Those caring for her told me it was a privilege for them and not a job, expressing genuine love for her. They celebrated in a grand way Mother’s Day with a very nice tea party and Father’s Day with a BBQ, families were always welcomed! I can’t say enough good about the owners and amazing family that helped care for grandma, prepared meals and kept the facility clean. I’ll never forget their kindness and will always be grateful for how they cared for grandma! I truly hope one day to be given such fine care!

I was helping a friend find a place for her mother when I happened upon Welcome Home. As soon as I walked in, I knew this place was special. It is a smaller facility and looks and feels more like a home than a business. The floor plan of the building allows the residents easy access to the dining area and common room. I was very impressed and recommended my friend come and take a tour. Over two years later the family is positive they made the right choice. My friends mother is still living there and is very happy and comfortable. I visit Welcome Home regularly and I see how well the residents are cared for and given inviduaul attention. The staff is kind and loving. There are activities during the week, including field trips to movies, museums, or perhaps to get ice cream. Bruce Morrison, the owner , is totally invested in providing a loving ,caring, fun life for every resident. I highly recommend Welcome Home if you are searching for a quality home for a loved one.

This facilities is awesome. They make great meals, it’s very very clean and they’re very very nice and accommodating for all of our needs for my aging mother who is 92. They have lots of activities and they keep her very active. I have not seen a facility that treats their patients with better care and understanding.

Welcome Home is one of the finest care communities I have ever worked with. I have referred many of my clients there over the years and they have all become like part of the Welcome Home family. It is locally owned and operated by Bruce Morrison who is onsite most days making sure his residents receive the quality of care that they deserve. He treats the residents like family and makes sure they get alot of attention, love and care and is the kindest person you will ever meet. They provide home cooked meals and fun engaging activities throughout the day. It's not uncommon to see Bruce taking the residents out to get ice cream or go on a scenic drive or be out doing a BBQ in their courtyard. He also works hard at making sure the community has lovely garden areas and the property is always maintained and the rooms and common areas are always clean. The caregivers are warm and loving and always make sure the residents are cared for, showered and well groomed giving them the dignity and respect they deserve. I highly recommend Welcome Home if you are looking for a place for your loved one for assisted living or memory care. It will be the best decision you could make for their overall care and well being.

My mom has been at Welcome Home for over 2 years now. She absolutely loves WH! She has made new friends, she loves all of the staff and she feels safe at WH. I appreciate all of the staff, employees and volunteers at WH! My mom loves all of the activities that WH has each day! And WH takes the residents outside for activities too! Welcome Home is a wonderful assisted living. My Mom was in their memory care unit for almost six months. She could not have been in better care. Bruce and his staff are wonderful, caring people. They took such great care of her. The activities, food and beautiful fresh flowers we unbelievable. The staff keep the facility clean and do a great job with laundry. Welcome Home in Bountiful has been a miracle for our family. It has been a perfect place for our mother after her head injury. She has been well-cared for and felt so loved living here the past few years. The entire staff is devoted to making it feel like home. They are kind and compassionate in their care and energetic and fun in planning activities and events for the tenants and their families. One of my best memories with her there is my daughter’s bridal shower that they were so kind to host. It was such a special and beautiful event. The tenants helped with decorations and making favors for the guests. The greatest surprise is that they helped my mom make a wedding cake for the event. They have done so much to work with my mom giving her opportunities to enhance her interests and artistic talents. Despite my mother’s dementia, she has been thriving during her stay at Welcome Home.

From laundry and assistance with bathing and daily needs to meal service (whether in the room or in the inviting, spacious kitchen), everything is handled with kindness and dignity. The shared spaces are cozy yet roomy, creating a welcoming environment for residents to gather and connect. There’s also a wonderful variety of activities—crafts, games, flower arranging, jazzercise, movie nights, and even field trips—that keep residents engaged and uplifted. Another huge plus is the on-site memory care facility, which offers peace of mind knowing that if additional care is needed in the future, the transition will be smooth and familiar. The staff is consistently friendly, attentive, and compassionate. And Bruce truly is a gem—he’s present, involved, and always making the rounds with a smile. Honestly, it’s not far from the truth to say I wish they had an extra room for me. I’m so grateful we found Welcome Home for my mother.

As someone who helps families navigate senior living options throughout the area, I’ve toured and worked with many communities. Welcome Home Assisted Living is one I feel confident recommending. Their team is kind, and genuinely invested in the well-being of the residents. Bruce, the owner, goes above and beyond for his tribe of residents and staff members. He is there 6 and sometimes 7 days a week. They have great food, and take their residents on fun outings. They are priced competitively, and he even provides furnished apartments. If you’re lucky enough to have a loved one stay at Welcome Home, do it! They genuinely care about each and every resident. They will do everything in their power to accommodate them. My grandma has stayed here for over a year now and she has loved it. I asked her about her experience and she said “ I really like it here. They feed us really well. I have really nice friends and we do fun activities” One of my favorite parts is they have family activities that you can attend. It’s been really special to our family.

My 86 year old father is currently a resident at Welcome Home. The staff are so caring and work to maintain a very loving and warm environment. The owner, Bruce, is genuinely interested in making Welcome Home a comfortable and caring "Home" for the residents that are there. We visit my father almost every day and I am always so impressed with the staff, the facilities and the care. My father has been in both the assisted living and the memory care buildings and both are wonderful. Welcome home truly lives up to its name. My wife is currently a resident in the memory care building. I can’t say enough about the great/caring/loving staff there. They treat my wife like their own family. My wife cannot communicate well but has expressed “I like living here”. The owner couldn’t be more loving and caring for the residents. All the staff truly make everyone feel at home. Meals are very good. The place is clean and cozy. Welcome home assisted living deserves the 5 star rating.

This is a somewhat mixed review which ends up on the low end primarily due to the inefficient and ineffective administrator. The people who care for the residents are very kind and helpful - they really do seem to care about each person. Unfortunately, that care is compromised by an administrator who doesn't communicate effectively with the staff or the residents' families. Despite multiple admonitions that my family member couldn't have solid foods, this wasn't communicated, and solids were given for her first breakfast and lunch.. Because the process for getting new medications to residents relies solely on the administrator, it took three days to get a new medication to my family member - this was because the administrator was on vacation and not attending to the faxes being sent by the hospice nurse. The contract forms I was given were full of mistakes and old information. It was difficult to know exactly what I was agreeing to. I requested a copy of the executed contract at least four times but was not given one. The website indicates each room has its own thermostat. This is not accurate. The rooms are on a "block," and cannot be individually controlled. The administrator was not responsive to emails or text messages. She was pleasant in person and agreed to address issues that came up, but there was no follow up on her part. Some centers have a podiatrist available to residents. Welcome Home does not. Also, the person who gave haircuts was away for at least two weeks with no communication to families and no indication on the door of a return date or even that she was away. The facility ran out of ice late one hot afternoon, and the next delivery wasn't scheduled until sometime the next day. The administrator wasn't around to solve the problem. I went to the store and purchased two bags of ice - one for them to use for my family member and one for the rest of the residents. My family member passed away while at Welcome Home - the people who took care of her were so caring and compassionate. I am still waiting for information from the administrator as to when the unused days we paid for will be refunded.
