One star because zero is not an option. There are a handful of people working there that mean well but overall this place is horrible. My father was admitted for PT and Rehab after hip surgery. On the day of his arrival he went 17 hours without pain meds. PRN meds didn’t always show up. Controlled substances were delivered and left unattended. HThe medical staff also does food service and tells patients they are not allowed to use the bathroom during food service. I witnessed multiple patients asking for quite a while for help before defecting themselves . Which might explain why the facility smells terribly. On numerous occasions I received a call at home from my father because his call button went unanswered for hours. On 3 occasions the call button went unanswered for over 2 hours while I was in the room. During the weekend a nurse told me she was responsible for 17 patients because people had called off. In the 6 days my father was there he received approximately 15 minutes of PT and was left in bed all weekend because he was a 2 person assist and they only staff one PT person on the weekend. By day day 6 we had enough and an ambulance was required to get him out of there. He was admitted through the ER with early stage renal failure and pneumonia. If we would have left him there he would have been dead within a week. We also were given his treatment records at the ER and these records were falsified and documented treatment and meds that were never given. Everyone deserves better care than this place is capable of and this place should be shut down. My father is in a new facility and doing great.

My husband was here for PT rehab. Everyone was friendly, kind and helpful. They seemed to work well together and care about all their patients. He was here 2 weeks.

Terrible !! It takes hours for them to respond to call buttons, people scream for help....and the food is absolutely AWFUL. . NO CHOICES IN FOOD. Eat it or starve. Even if you ask for something it is ignored. If you have ANY OTHER OPTIONS TAKE IT.

ONE COMPLAINT...we have called numerous times since April about our daughters phone being stolen. We even sent an email with a price list of what was stolen and we havent heard back from anyone! We NEVER signed the belongings paper that was in her file either saying we took possession of the phone. We would appreciate this situation getting resolved a.s.a.p. so we dont have to speak with the authorities. Thank you to the caring staff who took care of our daughter Karen Anne. We are grateful for all the concern for her as well as us while she was there. Know that we are thankful for all who blessed us even in her passing

The article in the July 25 Observer Reporter is a typical portrayal of what your residents experience with your staff and entire facility. The RNs (particularly Shonda) the CNAs, one and all, the aides and without question every therapy practitioner are superb. For the sake of the entire community, please keep up the great, compassionate and dedicated efforts you display every day. Best Wishes and thanks for being who you are and for doing what you do!!!
