Better experience than I could have had. Personal family friend passed away and the staff contemplated out loud bringing them out through the trash area, not reserved when it comes to disrespecting the dead, the only reason this post is higher than 1 star is because they allowed me to take him away through the emergency exit instead as a last ditch effort to get him out of there © not very pleased and would recommend other places if you are wondering

He needed a home, a community, care, respect/dignity; my vulnerable friend had lost his hearing and communication ability, was an introverted man who had no close family, experienced serious health changes, was evicted unfairly and didn't know where to turn. He had been generous and kind and selfless throughout his life. It was difficult and sad. BUT, once he got connected with Courtyard Gardens, his life, the quality of his life, transformed! Every department from the Wellness Team and Community Relations, to Dining Services and Life Enrichment, the Maintenance department, and his new neighbours/friends, they all contributed to his last years being better than he/we could have imagined! We had a Celebration of Life for him last weekend at Courtyard Gardens that was lovely, and though it is sad he is no longer with us, I am happy to know he had a beautiful caring, supportive home for his last years! Went for a tour with my mom and found the facility very clean, organized, and well laid-out in terms of facilities. The staff was friendly and importantly, the residents appeared well taken-care-of and happy, even with the unplanned interactions. In particular, the community relations manager was notable in her approach to my mom, friendly, caring, and has engaged her occasionally after the visit. Thank you.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Courtyard Gardens Retirement Home, and I must say it exceeded every expectation, my mother will be in amazing hands. From the moment you enter, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with beautifully landscaped gardens and a thoughtfully designed interior that feels cozy. All the staff is very attentive, I can definitely say my mother will be well take care of. Lauren was amazing and thorough, answered every question we had and made us feel really comfortable with our choice. Highly recommend.

Recently I have been looking and touring retirement residences for my parents. Courtyard gardens in particular stood out to us and the staff are very attentive, kind, and compassionate. Lauren gave us an exceptional tour and answered all of our questions with detail and patience. If you have been looking around for homes, I would definitely give this residence a chance. I would also ask for Lauren. She put us at ease.

My family and father toured Courtyard Gardens in September and were impressed with the brightness, cleanliness, and food of the retirement facility. My Dad had a health event the next month that did not allow him to live alone anymore. I immediately called Courtyard Gardens. The General Manager, LPNs, and aides worked quickly to accomodate my Dad in a beautiful room. My Dad is now visiting with the other residents and enjoying the great food and atmosphere of Courtyard Gardens. I am grateful for the compassion and expert care they are providing my Dad and their understanding of our situation.

We met with Camila Nunes to discuss our ailing father’s needs. She was most gracious to take the time and explain in detail to me and to my three sisters what Courtyard Retirement could provide to our dad as well as give us a tour of the facility. The place is beautiful, clean and looks like the staff is very caring. The meeting was not a sales pitch, it was addressing the needs of our 94 year old father and whether the facility was the right fit for him. Once he is mobile and semi independent, we will for sure re-visit the facility and make a decision to have him live there where we can be confident he is being cared for properly. Camila even offered lunch to us, very generous. Thank you again for your hospitality and in depth knowledge you provided.

Many thanks to Camile Nunes and the whole team. My father was able to spend 3 wonderful years there. He often said to me that this is the most beautiful place in the world. Excellent food was very important to him. He also really appreciated the all-round support. My father passed away last month. Since I traveled from Germany for the settlement, I was kindly offered the apartment as a place to stay for the two weeks, which is by no means a matter of course. I was able to experience the extremely friendly atmosphere among the residents and caregivers for myself. I will always have fond memories of Courtyard Cardens. Sincerely Edward Distler

I was in a supportive role for my sister and brother-in-law around moving to Courtyard Gardens. I truly appreciated the great communication I had with June as we sorted out various issues and dealt with delays because of my sister's health. She always kept me in the loop and answered all my questions. She always went the extra mile to make things work! It seems there might have needed to be a bit more clarity around independent and assisted living, however, this seems to have been sorted out so is no longer an issue. I have visited many times since their move and the staff has been friendly. The facility is very clean and offers a range of spaces. The large closets and storage space were a huge relief.

I went for a tour yesterday at Courtyard Gardens as I am looking into future care for my aging parents. My host /tour guide June Miller was amazing, she made me feel instantly at home and comfortable in this beautiful residence. My tour was not rushed at all and all my questions were answered. I was shown every part of building including two different suites , all the entertainment areas , the dining room, the quaint garden patio, and all other amenities. This property is bright, immaculate clean, quiet, and very cheerful. June happily introduced me to others both working there and any of the residents we encountered, she knew everyone by name and engaged in a small chat as we made our way around. It was such a comforting feeling. The food smelled absolutely amazing and they cater to all tastes. I highly recommend scheduling a tour here. I most certainly will consider this as a future home for my parents.
