I want to say that this Ma and Pa ALF is full of love and respect for everyone living there. Recently put my dad there and have had such a good experience. Nurses, cNA’s , chef and most importantly the Owner Alex! He is kind, full of compassion and empathy! You can find him sitting and eating with the residents. He also has a great team including a rn/social worker who can help educate you on resources for your loves ones. A WONDERFUL community with real people taking care of each resident/family member like (and often better) than family - people like me alone to care for three disabled family members and no family to help, I've been amazed at the sincerity of everyone here from the very first conversation to my most recent needs, real - true - caring - humans. The rooms are spotless, he bathrooms are clean, safe and comfortable. The community room is amazing and the library/card room too. The dining room is cozy just like a family home not a "cafeteria" with a wonderful mealplan suited for the many health needs of its residents like my own relatives - high bood pressure, diabetes, high cholestrerol and much more! I can't begin to imagine how they address everyne's needs but they also allow fridges in the rooms and there are many stores in walking distance. I can't say enough - there's too much to be thankful for. Thank you all the team at Villa Rio Vista

When my brother recently needed to enter an assisted living facility, I was lucky to find Villa Rio Vista. I live in NJ and am currently not able to visit as much as I would like. The staff at Villa Rio Vista treats my brother like family and gives him personalized attention. Alex, Hannah, Nadia, and the rest of the staff assisted in making his transition to living at the facility very smooth. I am confident that he is receiving attentive and thoughtful care and that all of his needs are being met. The environment, the high quality meals that are provided, and the caring staff have made him feel very at home, comfortable and at ease there.

The place is fantastic. My father has been there for approximately 6 months, and he is thriving and doing extremely well. Alex and his staff make sure that the residents are properly cared for both physically and mentally. After having my brother in several Assisted Living facilities, I finally found the right one. Villa Rio Vista is exactly what was needed for my brother and it appears he has found his home. Coming up on the four year mark, this is the longest he has been at any facility. The cleanliness of the facility along with the caring staff makes this the ideal place for my brother. Alex the facility director has been instrumental in providing information to facilitate specific needs for my brother. Whether there is a need for a specific doctor or how his meds are distributed or paperwork that requires a detailed response, he always provides positive feedback and is extremely helpful. Alex is great at putting a family's anxiety at ease.

My father was in a very corrupt facility-we got connected with Alex @ Villa Rio Vista-what a GAME changer!!! This owner goes over and beyond to 1-settle my father in who has dementia, 2-make him feel like the King he thinks he is!!... & 3-Caters to him like no other....The reviews helped in the beginning to choose Villa Rio Vista-BUT -although dementia is a very sad thh gv ing-Alex & his staff treat my dad as he is FAMILY...he is able to keep his dignity, respect, and energy! Every need and more is met -I get photos of my dad from Alex from everything to getting his hair cut, to food shopping, to styling new clothes I send!!!! If you are in need of help and are looking for an ALF for a loved one-LOOK NO FURTHTER-VILLA RIO VISTA-impeccably clean, always updated, beautiful grounds & rooms. Entertainment, beautiful home style food service, and all in a gated community. So on top of being sooooo lucky that my father is here, the thought of knowing he is secure in a gated facility-just the icing on the cake! I get to call in any time of day or night and speak w my father & staff...Alex goes above & beyond to keep me in the loop (as I reside out of state)....and include me with every decision regarding my dads care!!! Villa Rio Vista is an ALF that I have found that takes great pride in their facility and in taking care of their residents. Everyone knows everyone and the owner Alex is very dedicated to their care and well being. The residents are happy and healthy. Alex is very easy to communicate with and he works hard to make sure the facility is the best that it can be. I would definitely recommend this ALF for your family.

My brother has been at Villa Rio Vista for over one year “ and it’s been a great move for him as well as for the rest of the family. For the first time in many years, we are not concerned about whether he is eating, taking his medications, or having someone watching out for him. Alex and the rest of the staff have been extremely helpful and supportive. His moving there has reduced our family’s stress level immensely.

My mother is currently a resident there. I was overwhelmed and exhausted when I realized I could no longer take care of her at home. I work full-time and safety was a big issue. This place is a hidden treasure. My mother is able to enjoy: socializing on the patio or in the dining room, taking a calm walk under the many palm trees that line the inside sidewalk, reading or watching a movie in the common recreation area, listening to the weekly live band or just resting in her warm and comfortable room. She even went with a companion on a trip to the local Walgreen's, joined in a nearby ladies' club meeting and got her hair cut at a nearby salon. The staff is professional, compassionate and caring. They have evaporated my stress. I suggest calling for an appointment to tour the grounds; it needs to be seen to be appreciated.

I had an Aunt who lived alone in Florida for over 20 years after my Uncle passed. She loved Florida and didn't want to leave, but developed dementia about 5 years ago and a decision had to be made for her well-being and safety as she could no longer live alone. Thanks to Alex and his staff, my Aunt was able to enjoy the time she had left in a secure, clean, beautiful surrounding that she loved. Alex provides entertainment, celebrates all holidays, and has BBQs throughout the year. His staff is very attentive and caring to everyone's personal needs and looked after my Aunt like she was their own. I would highly recommend Villa Rio Vista to anyone seeking a secure assisted living place for a loved one.

I've had my mom in Villa Rio Vista for three years and she couldn't be happier. The staff do a great job making sure her all her needs are met. She loves the home cooked meals. They have live music 5 days a week. The place is kept immaculate. Would recommend this place to anyone.

I had the pleasure of meeting Alex at Villa Rio Vista to visit the facility for my family. Upon arrival, I was surprised by the level of professionalism and condition of the facility. The staff was super nice and the accommodations were great. Once we discussed my grandmothers needs, Alex found us the perfect accommodation. Being on a fixed income, he worked with us to get my grandmother everything she needed. It has now been 18 months and my grandmother couldn't be happier. The food is excellent and their attention to detail is awesome. The holidays are always celebrated. I Truely recommend Villa Rio Vista for anyone looking for assisting living facility for their loved ones.

I have my grandfather at this facility for several years now.The staff is very polite and accommodating his every need. i have been completely satisfied with the care and attention he receives. This facility is very clean and updated with modern equipment. The food is actually surprisingly fresh and taste good.I even spend some holidays with him ,its was very entertaining Thank you Villa Rio Vista for the excellent care and service my grandfather receive.

The location is perfect on the East side of town near Broward General Hospital and downtown Ft. Lauderdale and is also close to the airport for resident visitors. As you walk in you can tell by appearance that the owners pay attention to detail. The gardens are well kept and the facility is clean. You get a sence of a family run business with home style cooking. All meals are made fresh and served in the dining room. I would highly recommend Villa Rio Vista assisted living for anyone who enjoys the beautiful Florida weather and doesn't want to be living in a building with no outdoor activities.
