I dont understand why you are refusing to give my mom back her money i have viedos of the room spotless, i have a viedo of my handing in the keys, she left and said you were refunding her, is this how you run things over there? Extremely unprofessional, refusing to refund after you said you would send a check. Very clean, everyone was extremely nice. I think they need a little extra help especially w meds. However it is a nice place. They really care alot about their residents. I was surprised how clean and welcoming it felt. Fresh lemon water and 1 other drink i forgot what it was. It smelled nice. the exceptional staff is what I would say helps it stand out.

Choosing an assisted living facility for a parent is one of the hardest decisions a family can make, but from the moment my dad moved in, we knew we had chosen the right place. My dad can be strong-willed and, at times, difficult to handle. During a recent medical issue, the Health & Wellness Director stepped in personally, calmly guiding him through a situation that could have easily escalated. She spoke to him with respect, reassured him when he was confused and uncomfortable, and advocated for him every step of the way with his providers. She understood his personality, anticipated his reactions, and handled him with a balance of firmness and kindness that only comes from experience and heart. She kept our family informed, answered every question, and made us feel supported during a stressful time. The entire team creates an environment that feels safe, warm, and attentive. Activities are engaging, the building is well maintained, and the staff consistently goes above and beyond. But it’s the leadership — especially in moments of crisis — that truly sets this community apart. The staff at Cedar Creek are really like a second family to me and my dad.

Cedar Creek Living Assisted Facility “ Merritt Island, FL (2 out of 5 stars) I’m giving Cedar Creek 2 out of 5 stars based on my family’s experience with my mother’s stay and eventual discharge from the facility. In March 2025, we paid a ~$4,000 non-refundable fee. (I understand this is common). After my mother’s most recent fall in October 2025, Cedar Creek informed us she would not be allowed to return from the Hospital, and that the $4,000 fee was theirs to keep. For a family already under a lot of stress, this felt both financially and emotionally devastating. Of course, the next facility wants their $2500 non-refundable as well. $6500 of non-refundable fees within a 7 month period is a lot to absorb. When my mother first moved in to Cedar Creek, she was able to transfer on her own, but Cedar Creek insisted she call for assistance every time she transferred, and we agreed because we wanted her safe. The problem is that the facility appears to be seriously understaffed. My mother frequently waited over 1“2 hours for help ” and sometimes no one came at all. On several occasions, she missed meals because assistance never arrived. Because of these long waits and her independent nature, she would eventually try to transfer herself. As a result, she fell multiple times and had to be sent to the hospital to be checked out. In my opinion, the very policy that was supposed to keep her safe, combined with inadequate staffing, directly contributed to her increased risk of falls. Another major concern was how medications were handled. Upon move-in, Cedar Creek took control of all her medications, including over-the-counter items. I was told this was required by state law. Later, while searching for a new assisted living facility, I learned that Florida law does allow residents who are capable of self-administering their own medications to do so, and in fact says they should be encouraged and allowed to if they are capable. My mother is fully mentally competent and has no cognitive issues; she was entirely capable of managing her own medications. Being told this was state law when it was not, at least in her case, felt misleading. Ultimately, we were forced to moved my mother to a much smaller assisted living home with only six residents. She is doing far better there and finally getting the hands-on care she needs. She is not an overly social person and normally prefers privacy. And in a smaller home, there is no privacy except in your own bedroom. But, she seems to be doing quite well, and I haven't received a single complaint in the 30+ days she's been in her smaller home - which is less money per month. With Cedar Creek, she called me almost daily with complaints, no one coming to assist, etc. If you or a loved one and they need or will need more hands-on, timely assistance, or prefer a quieter, less institutional environment, I strongly encourage you to research smaller homes and group-style assisted living settings before committing to a large facility like Cedar Creek. I really didn't think my mother would like it. But our experience showed us that a big, impressive building does not necessarily mean better care, and staffing levels and honesty about policies matter far more.

I would not recommend living here. They are extremely short staffed. Med Tech's are very overworked, therefore are not always available to the residents. They are expected to work in the kitchen as well, which leaves no one covering the floors. Medications are not delivered in an appropriate time frame.They are continuing losing there good staff due to the working conditions and management. The management and LPN do not follow through on family concerns. They make you feel like your bothering them when asking for help. I have heard many residents complain about the food. Residents are afraid to speak up as they feel they aren't listened to.

My mom and I went on a tour of the facility. All I can say is WOW!! This place is awesome. Very quiet area and lots of room to roam. Apartments and studios are well thought out.Sandie and Amber were very helpful in answering all our questions including what the protocol is for weather emergency. Very friendly residents . It was a great experience overall.

Cedar Creek is by far the best assisted living facilities in all Brevard county. They have been so helpful and kind to my cousin as she is now a resident there. Every time I come and visit her the building always smells really good. The staff is always kind. My cousin is always telling me how much fun she has and the friendships she's made. Her favorite activity is BINGO. Thank you Cedar Creek staff for everything you guys do! I rate it a 11/10

I've been a resident here for about 7 months and I would say this place is always wonderful! The staff is always so helpful. The friendships I have made are something I will cherish forever. My laundry is always done on time. I also really enjoy playing bingo with my friends. It's nice to be able to have our Bible study classes a few times a week. Its very organized especially when I ask for something to be fixed in my room. The maintenance request gets answered in a timely manor. Thank you cedar Creek for taking good care of me

They are extremely welcoming to anyone new coming in, and in my experience have been nothing short of amazing. They are easy to work with and want what is best for the people that live there. I have been in home health for 15 years and this place is the top of my list. I highly recommend Cedar Creek as a home for your loved one.

Cedar Creek is new to my sister-in-law as of this week. I know it seems too soon to give a 5 star review but the lead up to it was important in my mind. The tour, the complimentary lunch at tour, ease of paperwork and personal attention to all details and needs. Staff came thru on first day to say hello and talk about care. I was very impressed with everyone’s job and their explanations as to what they could do to help. After the first night my sister in law said she slept good and hadn’t done that in a longtime. Thank you go out to David Dixon and staff.

My mom moved in 3 weeks ago. We are very happy with the ALF. The staff is wonderful...Director Sandra, Junior director Katrina, head nurse Barbara. The mantainace Brad does a great job. All the nurses, med techs, CNAs, and activity director are terrific, caring and very capable. The dining staff friendly too. The entire staff makes you feel at home. Building is nicely redecored and apartments are nice. Great value and services.

My mom has lived at Cedar Creek for almost a year and both her and I have been pleased with both the faculty and the facility. We were originally attracted by the value. The room sizes are very nice and their simple "everything is included" pricing is very competitive compared to other ALFs in the area. We really like the comfortable and homey, atmosphere. It's not luxurious but the facility is well cared for. The entire staff has been great. The nurses are easy to work with, and the staff is very friendly. If you're looking for a place for your loved one, give Cedar Creek a visit. If you're lucky you'll get a tour from Katrina, who's energy, enthusiasm and caring for the residents is awesome!
