We chose The Legacy bc of the warm & home like environment but the staff is what made the biggest difference! They are all very caring & attentive to both Mom & all of our family. We feel welcome when we visit & we know that Mom is well cared for! Also as a plus, she often gets hugs! Thank you for all you do!

I did a tour of the facility, and it was great! The staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating. It really seems like a great culture at the Legacy of Camden, and the facility was very nice and updated.

What an amazing place! Beautiful, clean and makes sure residents have fun. We had the honor of helping them with a chicken bog fundraiser that went flawlessly due to their leadership!

What an amazing place! My father has been a resident here for a year now and he and I have never had a single complaint. The staff takes excellent care of him by serving him three meals a day, keeping his room super clean, doing his laundry and making sure he’s happy and healthy. I’m very protective of my Dad so I wouldn’t let him live just anywhere. The Legacy of Camden (formerly Morningside) has exceeded my expectations! In fact, i have started to think of the staff as family and they do a wonderful job of communicating with me. Everyone who works here has a compassionate heart for the residents and I’m extremely grateful for their kindness and professionalism.

I’ve worked as a PT in Assisted Living Facilities throughout SC for almost 17 years, and Legacy of Camden is one of the best facilities I’ve ever seen! The staff is second to none! The community is beautiful and clean, and the residents are treated like family! I would highly recommend Legacy of Camden if you are looking for an ALF for yourself or a family member or friend.

I can’t rate Morningside highly enough! They treated my mother like she was their own mom! Kind, patient, professional service, good food, ability appropriate activities, but what sets the staff apart is the level of caring. I can recommend Morningside of Camden to anyone needing an assisted living facility! They were recommended to me by my mom’s physician and we were so pleased with all they did to help her & entertain her.

My parents moved to Morningside in Camden one month ago and we have been very pleased with everything there. The staff is kind and caring and have taken care of every small issue we have encountered. The food is tasty, visitors are welcomed for meals and the staff went all out for a special Valentines dinner. Morningstar has made it a wonderful transition for our family!

Mother (94) resided here for 7 months. Staff and facility were excellent. Caring and professional. My mother liked her apartment and enjoyed interaction with many of the staff. The facility is well maintained and very clean. A wonderful place for those in need. Wish mother could have stayed longer but her dementia and poor legal system prevented it. Highly recommend this place.

Morningside is a perfect place for my Mother to live. She will be 90 this year and is immensely happy to be where she is. She is active and healthy, creative, loved and cared for. The staff works as a team, no job too big or too small and each resident gets personal one on one attention from all staff members. All residents are treated like members of a family. Emotional spiritual and physical needs are taken into account and addressed on an as needed basis. Family members are recognized by staff and friendships are formed among residents, staff and family. I am kept informed on the needs of my mother that have been lovingly taken care of. When we go out for a meal or shopping, my mother is always happy to return home.I no longer have to manage caregivers or worry about her needs or health issues. It has improved both her quality of life and that of her family members.Thank you to every one of you beautiful people who have given your time to care for our elders. A group hug to all of you.

We were so pleased with the great care our mother received while at Morningside. She had to leave the comfort of her home after an accident that required surgery and subsequent rehabilitation. After leaving rehab we were afraid of Mom going home to live alone so we chose to transition her to assisted living and from the first visit we were impressed with the facility. Crissy walked us through the whole process of on boarding with lots of time and detail leaving us feeling we were making the right decision. Thankfully Mom only required a 2 month stay but we know she will always have a nice place to call home if she needs to go back to Morningside. Thank you to Crissy and the entire staff for treating our Mom so well! The Bailey family
