This place has changed my dad’s life for the better! He may not remember going twice a week, but he thoroughly enjoys his time spent here & can’t stop talking about how there is such good people here. Staff is great! They have wonderful activities, it really has put a spark back in my 77 year old father with dementia.

Went to visit a friend's grandma there... she loves the staff. The good is her favorite part though. She went on and on about some guy named Sean caring to get it right and listening to what they like. We talked about going and having lunch with her soon so we can try it out. I'll let ya know!!!

I’ve never had so many positive interactions from so many different staff people as I did when I walked into Heritage Avonlea. Staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly.

All existing staff are excellent to work with. Wish there were a few more, but patient care is #1. Patients always seem to be engaged,. This includes my Sister which is unusual. Staff works well with her even when she's crabby. WIFI badly needs to be upgraded.

This is a hidden gem of a community!! We absolutely love working with heritage avonlea of Olathe. They are so organized, clean, kind, and welcoming! KJ is one of the best nurses around. Naomi’s activities are always well thought out and exciting!

I am an outside provider and have been seeing a patient there for about a month. The staff has been very nice and helps me whenever needed. The residents always look engaged, they hang out in the living area watching TV or there are activities most days that they can do and even live music comes and plays.

One of the things I love most about Heritage Avonlea is their focus on individualized care. They take the time to get to know you, and they created a personalized care plan. This included things like helping with medications, dressing, and bathing. They also make sure the residents get plenty of exercise and socialization.

Let's face it, the last few years have been challenging for all senior living facilities, but Heritage Avonlea has maintained high standards even through the Covid years. It is a small community that finally has outstanding people at key positions. My BIL has been here over 3 years and we couldn't be happier.

For nearly four years, I have been more than patient while they continue to drop the ball on my father's medications. The Avonlea falsely advertises "peace of mind." It has been anything but! Save your money and keep your loved ones at home if you can. June 2019, now under new management but still a nightmare. They continue to drop the ball on my father's medication. They beg, borrow and steal medication from other residents then lie about it and cover it up. Very deceitful.
