Good Hope Manor Team, I am writing to express my profound gratitude for the exceptional care and welcoming environment my father has received since his recent admission to your Assisted Living Facility. From the moment he joined your community, we have been deeply impressed by the consistent support and compassionate nurturing provided. The dedication and professionalism demonstrated by every member of your staff have been truly outstanding. They consistently go above and beyond to ensure my father's well-being and comfort, making his transition remarkably smooth and positive. Knowing that my father is in such capable and caring hands provides me with immense peace of mind. It is incredibly reassuring to know that any assistance required is met with promptness, genuine concern, and a high level of attentiveness. Thank you for creating such a supportive and nurturing home for my father. We are truly grateful for the excellent service and the compassionate spirit that defines Good Hope Manor.

Good Hope Manor has been a lifesaver for my loved one. The staff treats her like family and she loves it there. No matter when I visit, and my visits are not all planned, I'm always met with smiles from both my loved one and the staff. I highly recommend their services.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible care my father receives at Good Hope Manor. From the moment we walked through their doors, we felt a sense of warmth and professionalism. The staff truly go above and beyond to make every resident feel like family. I tell Annie, the owner, on every possible occasion that she is our living angel. The facility is clean, inviting, and very maintained. The residents are engaged and happy. My dad especially loves the garden area where he can relax. What stands out the most is the compassion and attentiveness of the caregivers. They treat my dad with respect and kindness, ensuring he feels valued and cared for. The staff speaks to him instead of at him. It brings me such peace of mind knowing he is in a place where his well-being and happiness are the top priority. Unfortunately, this was not my first experience with an ALF. I highly recommend Good Hope Manor to anyone looking for a safe, LOVING, and supportive environment for their loved ones. It’s truly a wonderful home away from home.

Good Hope Manor has been a blessing to our family. We needed a clean, secure facility for my brother and it has exceeded our expectations. It is always clean and my brother has been well taken care of. The rooms ( each with a private bath) were much bigger than any others we toured . The food is good and Annie, the director , is easy to reach and extremely attentive. The cost is very reasonable for the services provided. Our family feels extremely fortunate to have found a place such as Good Hope Manor.

Good Manor was a good place for my mom while she stayed there. The CNAs were on time to give my mom her medication, which was extremely important in her case. The place was clean, and my mom liked the food. But what was really amazing was how my father, my mom and I were treated by Victoria, the Marketing Director. She, from the beginning of this painful and stressful period, was so understanding, caring, always available to us. She went to meet my mom at the hospital, and she was always guiding my father and I, through this difficult time. I have no words to thank her for all she did, her comforting words. We met Victoria through Stacey H., Affordable Senior Placement, who was the lady that the social worker from the hospital put us in contact with. Stacey was also very understanding.

I have been looking for a facility for my mom for about 4 months, and finally I was able to locate one that I felt comfortable at. I have been taking care of her for the last 12 years feeling guilty of putting her in a facility. When I stepped into Good Hope Manor I saw that the staff was very warm. They do care for the residents with warmth as their own families. Place looks and feels right for my mom and now I am happy and guilt free, can go visit her anytime and take her out and still enjoy her without any guilt.

This place is the nightmare we all fear when thinking of our aged years in a nursing home. While the front areas are cool, back rooms and hallways are hot and have the constant smell of urine. Most of the patients have severe dementia and wander about, unmedicated, looking for an open door to escape. There are no nurses, so medications are given by people who get a crash course of a few hours in medication...then most of these patients should be on heavy duty meds and narcotics. Do they have diabetes, a urinary tract infection...who knows, these folks aren't trained to notice. There is no soap in the rooms, toilet paper is sharp as a porcupine, no towels, no washcloths, no sheets to change the beds. Patients have to bring themselves to the dining area, where food falls on the floor and a television blares the entire time...as it does throughout the place on one channel...at least it is cnn. There is no juice, no desert..no extras. Of course, most of these folks are from working class homes and may not notice the difficulties; as for me, I would rather take a huge does of narcotics and slip away than take a chance of someday living here.
