As with any type of these places there will be issues, but I have to say when an issues arises they do a good job of taking care of it. A special shout out to the activities director Carly, she does a fantastic job of keeping the residents busy.

I had a wonderful experience at Robin Run Retirement Community, and a huge part of that was thanks to Alex. She was incredibly helpful, welcoming, funny, and has such a warm, positive personality. She made the entire process comfortable and enjoyable. I truly love this senior community. The atmosphere is amazing, the residents and staff are friendly, and there are so many wonderful activities and options available. The food is excellent, and it’s clear that everyone genuinely cares about the people who live there. One of the things that gives me the greatest peace of mind is knowing that my parent can live independently while also having access to higher levels of care if needed in the future. Having skilled nursing and additional services available on-site provides reassurance that they can continue receiving the support they need without leaving the community they call home. Thank you, Alex, for your kindness and exceptional service. You helped make this an easy and positive decision for our family!

Alex gave us a tour of independent living cottages. There were a variety of layouts available to be updated to our taste. We stayed overnight in one of the apartment units. The people who live there are a wonderful and friendly community. We liked the dining room service and food too.

We moved into an Independent Living apartment in August. We are truly enjoying living at Robin Run. The staff and residents are friendly and welcoming. The management team is very open and helpful. They recently reconfigured the maintenance request format. We can submit maintenance requests several ways including on an app, which is very convenient. The maintenance staff are very efficient now. Everyone is working together to make improvements. They host a monthly meeting which is always well attended and informational. There are many activities available including a Resident Council who also report monthly and exercise classes for all. We have a music committee that is amazing. Lots of music options and concerts with both residents and outsiders. You can even go to practices. During December the committee arranged Music Moments during the dinner hour. It was wonderful. Come check us out!!!

The frist thing that impressed me was that a real person answered the phone and set up a time to take a tour. The Memory care unit is brand new and we were albe to get him in asap. My sister and I are even thinking about moving on to the property in preparation of our retirement. We were impressed.

My father-in-law is happy at Robin Run. He moved there a few months ago and he is all settled in and made his apartment his own. He likes the food there.

I had a bad experience in rehab--staff was overworked and did not meet my needs--more than 4 hour wait to empty a bedpan, etc. The carpet in the tower is looking really worn and threadbare.

my parents moved into Robin Run in 2017. since then, the quality of the care and the food has gradually gone downhill. the food is usually cold and rarely what was ordered, making a mockery of the menu's residents fill out. a single person is supposed to be cleaning 2 floors of assissted living apartments regularly, leaving bathroom facilities and kitchen areas untouched.

Not happy with having a grounds person steal large rocks from around my patio so he could use them to rebuild my neighbor's terracing. He secretly came back later when I got furious when no one would admit their guilt and replaced most of the stones. No apologies, no excuses.

There is a regular problem with communications. Much of this is due to residents who either don't process information correctly or who make up a response so that it appears they "know" about something. At the 500 party a man showed up at our table and was fussing...but when I asked him, he admitted that he doesn't read Chripings and didn't see the signs in the elevators.

There have been so many great changes with leadership and staff. I know on the rehab side there have been such great success stories over the last 2 months. Seems the reviews in the past weren’t the best but very proud of how much work they have put in to make it a great place for family members, residents, and staff during their stay.

My parents are here. Regarding the nursing home, please stay on top of things. Although they were negligent and my father received a 3rd-degree burn, they quickly rectified the problem and notified the State. Outside of that incident, they treat my father well. Should the facility hire more help? Yes

Not happy at all. My mother-in-law has lived here for over two years in the independent living tower. There is a check in system where she is to call and let them know at the desk that she is okay every day at 10:00 a.m. When we went to visit her on 07/04/24, we walked into her apartment and found her calling out for help, completely underneath her bed. She had been under the bed for days. When we asked if they called to check on her, they said that they did but the phone records say otherwise. Her apartment was a mess and smelled awful, when it had been clean the week before when her son visited. They also told us that they knocked on her door "and no one was home." She never left. She was under the bed. The administrator left us a phone message, letting us know that they do not check under beds for missing residents. They also said that they called the medics a few days before because she had fallen, and she refused medical attention. They never called to let us know that that occurred. We would have followed up and checked on her if they would have told us she had fallen. Needless to say, if she survives, she will not be returning to this facility. When a staff member was asked to come see the state of her apartment, she said, "Well, these apartments are a mess all the time, and if she can't live independently then she should be in assisted living." Not one ounce of sympathy. She is currently in the hospital fighting for her life and in acute renal failure. If you are looking for a place for your loved one, I recommend you go elsewhere.

My dad is here. I think he is being taken well care of. He is not happy but at 92 ,he can't be left at home. He loves bingo days. They seem under staffed like every where.

My 88 year old dad suffered a series of strokes. He went into Robin Run unable to walk and in a bed bound. Thanks to the staff and their physical therapist's dedication he walked out 8 months later. Thank you for everything.

Our parents lived at Robin Run for 11 years total and loved it. It was a great place for them. My Step Father had early Alzheimer's when they first moved to their independent living apartment in 2008. Eventually he moved to Clare Bridge (memory care) when his disease progressed. The great thing was Mom was able to see him every day as it was part of the same campus, yet at the same time maintain her independence. Mom lived until her very last day at her Robin Run apartment and wouldn't have had it any other way. Mom was quite the social butterfly there and was loved by all the residents and staff. Robin Run provided a rich and comfortable environment for which I am grateful.

Robin Run Vilage is such a unique place to live, the staff and residents really care about the people who live in all areas of the campus. The residents are friendly and look after the well being of their friends and neighbors. If another resident Is have trouble with something they will help them or find someone to help them. The staff is always willing to stop what they may be doing to help you with any and all issues. Everyone is friendly and polite. They always make you feel that you are the main focus of their day. This community has all levels of care and that is a comfort for us in our senior years.

When asked about Robin Run I tell them, "Don't wait to come to RRV. This is a place for seniors to be involved in amazing activities. eat tasty food and make good friends. You will never get lonely living here. In fact the many services available allow you to age in place all while being surrounded by residents that really care about one another. As one new resident once said, "You should market the great residents as one of the amenities." There are so many activities here we all have trouble choosing which ones to attend and the staff is top notch.

We love living here at Robin Run Retirement Village. Everyone seems very friendly and ready to help in every way. We live in a Garden Home and we have had excellent help when we have needed it with plugged up toilets, non-functioning ice-makers. Free medical transportation + trips to restaurants and events. We have encouraged many of our friends to come and look around to see if they might be happy here. Other family members have lived in similar facilities, but none match Robin Run! You are truly missing out if you don't come to Robin Run....

We moved to a Garden Home in Robin Run Village in May 2017, to be near our children. We intended to be seasonal and spend the winters in Sarasota, FL. In February 2018 we decided that we missed our life in RRV and in June 2018, sold our Sarasota house to become full time RRV residents. I am so glad that we didn't wait "until we needed to" to come here! My husband and I are both physically and mentally active, so we are able to take advantage of the activities, the dining room, and above all the 1 1/2 mile nature trail through the woods. We attend the twice weekly yoga classes, the discussion groups, movies, concerts, Village Chats & Menu Chats (where residents are able to participate in the discussion), and the every Friday Happy Hours where we have an opportunity to socialize with the wider community. One of the best things about this particular Senior Community is that there are always people about - sitting and chatting in the lounge, playing cards in the activity room, or exercising in the fitness room. We have a great library entirely run by resident volunteers - and I was amazed to see that there are a bunch of books by RRV residents! We have monthly men's and women's breakfasts where residents often share their life stories. I am often in awe when I hear of the accomplishments of many of our residents! There are lots of opportunities to go on the bus trips - baseball games during the season, breakfasts, lunches, concerts. As you can see, I'm loving my life here. I know that I will continue to be physically and mentally active far longer than I would have otherwise.

We have been living at Robin Run village for over four years and we are very pleased with our Garden Home and how Robin Run keep the equipment and appliances working well. We have found we have so many activities so that we do not say what are we going to do with ourselves. We especially enjoy walk the 1 1/2 mile walking trail that goes through the 8 acre woods.

I have been living in Robin Run village since 2012 , with very few exceptions, the staff here at Assisted Living is very caring and attentive. My wife lives here in memory care as well, which helps me to visit her often, there were several other retirement facilities we could have moved to, we are glad that we chose Robin Run. IT IS HOME!
