She showed me around the various areas and units, introduced me to several of the residents and staff, explained options, and in general made me feel comfortable with her friendly, cheerful manner. I spoke with Nikka about finding a place for my uncle. Nikka was very responsive and helpful and even though my uncle was not a fit for Serra Highlands due to his condition, Nikka gave me great information so I could continue my search for another facility. Most places don’t give you the time of day because you are wasting their time. Please call her if you need information about Serra Highlands!

I went with a good friend to check out the place. Nikka Solis was our guide - she gave us a thorough tour and valuable advice on choosing the best living arrangements. Our hour-long meeting was packed with useful information. Ask her about her cream puffs - they were delicious.

Although we discovered Serra Highlands was not the best fit for our mother, we left with a good impression. It was clean, organized and staff was friendly.The following day, I spoke with Ruth briefly and she is someone with a wealth of knowledge and was willing to be a resource of information even though were no longer interested in the facility. She was awesome!

Very recommended this place because this place is nice and lots of many friendly workers and there food was amazing they have different kind of options if u don’t like the menu for today u can have another option if u like burger, salad , desserts etc. this place has also had a great view and the outside garden was very refreshing love this view.

We truly enjoyed our visit at Serra Highlands Senior Living. Elaina received us, gave us a detailed description of the facility. Even though my mother is not qualified for their facility, she still gave us a comprehensive tour and recommendations for the facility that would be suitable for my mother. Elaina is super nice, knowledgeable and helpful. The facility is clean and well maintained, and the banana bread that Elaina gave us as a gift was delicious.

Rates are too high based on size of units, size / layout / look of facility...also, there was no wheelchair available for seniors who are visiting for a tour.

The place is full of people interacting with each other. They always have something cooking, and whenever I visit most of the residents are busy. The staff is doing something more than before. Happy and not lonely. Great job to the staff for keeping them going after Covid set them back.

It was a last minute to move my mother to California from the east coast and I just want to say working with Claudia and Karina have been wonderful. They were very supportive to the process which was what I needed since I was new to all of this. Plus being a single mother of 4 and working full-time I needed all the help and guidance I could get. Not only was this place affordable but the level of care my mom has received has been amazing. My mother is very happy and I feel we have a sense of community. They have been very warm and welcoming to my mother. The staff is amazing and keep me updated of what is going on with her. Thank you so much Atria Daly City. My mother has been at Atria, Daly City going on four years now. My mom seems very happy their. This establishment has many activities that keep my mother busy most of the time. This includes, exercise class, jewelry making, playing board games also included on the tv. They also have bingo, etc. The chef there prepares different food dishes routinely so the meals don’t seem redundant. They even prepare midday snacks which are brought to their rooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They are very reasonable priced which is a godsend. I’m pleased that my mother is happy there.

I was recommended two years ago by a friend to bring my brother to the community of Atria in Daly City. This was the best decision I made on his behalf for myself and my family. What a beautiful community! Director Cecilia and Chef Walter really form a dynamic duo along with their ever caring staff which is nevertheless tender, polite and very alert! The real proof came when COVID-19 hit California and subsequently all care facilities. What a crew! All of them with no one exempted went above and beyond their abilities to help the vulnerable residents during this difficult time. Their dedicated service continues today and will for years to come. I was amazed to learn the number of hours each of every one put for the community sacrificing their personal life their families, their own time. Also before the pandemic hit, the community was thriving socially with all the activities and field trips that made them "feel good" and as members of a big family. I cannot say anymore than to recommend Atria to anyone who needs to put their older loved ones in a safe, caring and loving environment. The economics of it are also great! The price is right as they say and Chef Walter will never disappoint you! You will be in a very good place!

My mother was looking for a new place because the place she was living was raising the rent significantly. We visited the home and fell in love with the place and the price which was significantly cheaper than the place she was currently in. Before she could move in, Atria required that she have a TB blood work done that cost almost $300 and she passed. Right before we were about to move, in, we were told that the price they provided us was incorrect and it was going to be a lot more than the place she was staying at. So we had to pull out of the agreement. Because Atria requested that she have the blood work done and not because of a doctor's request, we requested Atria to reimburse our mother the $300 but was told no, they won't reimburse that. While they may seem great, I found the experience at Atria really poor and would never recommend it. The bait and switch and extra cost is why I would never consider this place for anyone I care about.

Both my mother and my late father lived at Atria Daly City together for three and a half years. They never dreamed that they would live anywhere other than in their home in San Francisco until my dad took a fall and we had to consider the best living arrangement for both of them. The staff of caregivers always have smiles on their faces and are filled with joy while they provide skilled care for many of the interesting and diverse residents at the Atria DC Community. Both of my parents felt comforted in knowing that Lillian and Randy were there to escort them to the doctor, administer their medications, and provide loving and compassionate assistance whenever they needed it. My dad spoke of them often as loving companions, and my mom continues to feel as though they are her family. Lillian and Randy make the residents feel that they have the time to provide the care that they deliver, and that they are truly honored to do what they do. I am certain that their attitude is why my parents have felt such a sense of belonging and that they were truly "at home" at Atria Daly City. I feel very blessed in my choice for choosing Atria Daly City to be my parent's home.
