Recently went to Westmont to enjoy an event, my grandmother lives there. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. It's awesome that they regular but on events for the residents and their family to enjoy!

I never write reviews, however, I was so impressed with this facility and especially Brandie Lopez. I called in for some information regarding my mother who needs care. Brandie was extremely friendly and informative! It was a much different experience when I called this facility than the 2 others I called this week! It is such a hard call to make, and she not only understood where I was coming from, she also took the time to answer all of my questions with patience. When we are ready to make the move, she will be the first one I call!

The facility has changed directors 3-4 times over the past couple of years. Large turnover in the staff also. Once your loved one is established they tend to raise the "monthly assessment" without warning. Then they ghost you when you try to contact the staff and try to figure out why the cost has just skyrocketed. Not a good situation - but once your loved one is established and feels comfortable it can be very traumatic to change facilities.

My Mom has lived at the Westmont Escondido going on 9 years now! She often tells me how kind the staff is, especially the activities director, Kelly, who is so dedicated and friendly. She also says the healthcare assistants are also very compassionate. The people who come to clean her apartment to the man who fixes everything, Javier, are kind. She loves the fact that she has a full kitchen, and she can cook when she wants to and makes it feel homey. The food is very good and they have a wide variety of choices. There is even an indoor pool and exercise room. She is an avid reader and they have a great library...she volunteered for years and loved it. My Mom owned a home in Escondido for many years so the community is also familiar to her. I would highly recommend the Westmont Escondido.

My mom and I searched for the perfect place for her after the move from Portland, Oregon to San Diego. We finally decided on Westmont for the people and staff that made us feel welcome! Malou was our contact person in the beginning and has always been very helpful and caring, with a passion we didn't know existed. If you have something you need help with she is there to listen. Sarah in the cafeteria is always helpful with a smile for my mom. All of the front desk help is excellent and always wanting to help! Oh and Jennifer In housekeeping is awesome and Miriam in Accounting as well! If you are looking for a place for mom or dad that you can trust to take good care of your loved one, Westmont Town Court is the place !

Our mom moved here two months ago. The staff are wonderful and attentive. The apartments are large compared to other places we checked out. Mom enjoys the variety of activities and events offered. New chef is fabulous. Mom has made many friends and is very happy. Westmont is just what mom was looking for!

In March my brother and sister looked for a facility for mom to move into with the option of assisted living in the future. We all agreed on Westmont Escondido after looking at couple other places in the San Diego area. I went over from Hong Kong last month to help my mom to sign the contract and move into her apartment. Met with David and Malou who are in charge of the facility and residents relations respectively. They both were extremely nice, experienced, understanding and caring. They were there not just to do their job but also went beyond to help make the transition smooth and were always there to be sure mom settled in well. The restaurant staff are so attentive that after couple meals they know what mom likes for food and drinks. The facility has variety of activities to let the residents enjoy and be involved in as part of the community. The other residents we met are all very welcoming and so nice to talk to that it is not difficult to feel at home. My siblings and I all felt assured that we made the correct decision with mom in helping her move there.

I found this facility via "A Place for Mom". I moved here because I no longer felt safe living alone. Although I am here under the guise of independent living, I very much appreciate how quickly the staff has gotten to know me! If I don't show my face for a few days, someone is knocking on my door to check on me. Of course, this is why I moved in the first place!

Westmont Town Court is a very nice community. Having toured there several times and seeing how great the staff is with their residents I have no problem referring clients there. Their sales director Malou is very helpful and goes over all the details, pricing, and terms while offering a tour of the community and all it has to offer.

Worst memory care ever. My mom was neglected, basically starved, according to Palomar hospital. She was underweight because she hated the food and wouldn't eat. They would not feed her food she liked, the food they served her wasn't fit for a cat! Do not put your loved one in their memory care. You will be sorry. Dr Moore at Palomar hospital also said she was severely underweight, weighing 80 pounds. Her tv didn't work for more than 2 months and when we complained all we got were excuses! They couldn't be bothered! I won't even give one star. Maybe should be negative 5! I have no nothing good to to say about westmont. Except they are making me pick one star To post

The staff truly care about each resident. They go above and beyond to make sure the residents are cared for, enjoying activities, meals, and have a good quality of life. Each staff member goes above and beyond to make sure there is a positive community culture and all residents are happy. I work at their onsite rehab center and see the daily efforts everyone puts into their care for the residents and the community! A great place!!

We are happy and grateful because we feel confident we have found Westmont Town Court as a place that my mother-in-law likes and finally agreed to and will hopefully decide to move to after our extensive and careful search for a place she would go to and live at. This goes the same for her brother as they are both in need to move into a Senior living community where one of them would be able to live independently while the other one would be assisted for daily living. Beautiful community, wonderful staff! The moment you walk in you feel welcomed, they have the best community liaisons, Malou and Susy are the sweetest! Most importantly the patients look so happy and always look pleased! I recommend this place 100% your loved ones will be taken care of and will have fun while doing it!

I have lived here for over five years. Started at independent, my wife had n Memory care. I like the staff in all departments. I participated in at least 15 activities per week. I run 3 of those activities. I find the care staff here excellent. Food here is very good and the residents are all contemporaries relatively of same age. The rooms are comfortable with very nice common areas suitable for socializing.

My parents have been here for 3 years, and have been here through covid, the good and the bad. The staff did the best they could during this time and did a great job!! My mom is now in Compass Rose care and the staff is amazing, they take very good care of her. I can now sleep at night knowing all staff are taking care of my parents and I see smiles on their faces. It is going thru difficult times with kitchen chef head of dining services and others quitting. New director arriving 13 June The residents are hoping this will bring things back to normal soon. Food is not the best quality

We were very impressed! The staff was friendly (with low turn-over), the facility very clean, the apartments nice, and lunch was great. Secure, unassigned, parking for free was also a plus. Uncle is not yet ready to Make the move but it is a definite contender.

Can not say enough good things about the care, the staff, and the community its self. The price point is such a steal for the care that you receive here!
