Terrible. Avoid this facility. Resident received another Resident's medication and other medicine dispensing issues. Caregiver response time exceeds 45 minutes. The food quality is abhorrible. These occurrences continue after repeated attempts to have Management correct these issues.

My parents have lived at The Commons for almost 7 years. Living far away, I am so happy with the love and care they receive here. Besides being a beautiful facility, the staff impresses me even more! Marina (Director) is amazing! She takes a personal interest in every resident and knows how to run this facility well. The staff in the dining room are always smiling and happy. They are kind and attentive to every diner and most of them have been there a while! Now that my mom is on hospice, the caregivers that visit her multiple times a day are just incredible. We were welcomed inside the Commons at Dallas Ranch without even having an appointment. We received prompt and professional attention from staff. Following a same-day tour of the care facility environments and the available 1- and 2-bedroom suites, our family received timely coordination of their services. This allowed us to quickly schedule the required assessments for both parents (staff journeyed out of the area to make this happen), and helped us complete our applications, discuss the details, and complete the necessary forms. Our 93yr old Moms been in memory care at The Commons for 2 years now. Unfortunately many of the key members of the staff have left or been replaced. Communication issues and rate increases at times without an explanation . We decided to move our Mom to another facility. Every month became a battle trying to get credit for over billing.

We absolutely love The Commons at Dallas Ranch in Antioch. My mother was Very Reluctant to go. She refused. We finally convinced her & she is very happy there. She is involved in all the games they play. The Caretakers & servers are awesome. They are so attentive & know exactly what you want & what you need. Also, Minerva is the Best Activities Director. They had a wonderful Birthday party for my mother Marian. On Nov. 6 she was surprised with a 103rd Bday. We're so happy we were referred to The Commons. We appreciate everyone & everything they do. I recently had my wedding in Livermore. The Common at Dallas Ranch staff were amazing! They went above and beyond, helping my father get properly dressed and providing him transportation to and from the venue. That support meant so much and made my day so much less stressful. Today I brought a client in to take a tour at The Commons. It’s a beautiful Assisted Living & Memory Care Community and you can feel the warmth of the staff as you walk in. Melanie McCants is their amazing Director of Sales and she took myself and my clients on a tour of the community and a very spacious two bedroom apartment. Her knowledge and ability to make everyone feel right at home was just what we needed for my client to feel less anxious, as this was her first visit to a retirement community.

The Commons Staff and Management have taken excellent care of my mother Bonnie, who lives there. Staff and Management have been very helpful whenever I have questions. I live about 80 miles away so it is heartwarming to have this quality of assisted living for Mom.

My parents are now in their late 80’s and mid 90’s. Since moving to the Commons at Dallas Ranch they are much happier because they are less stressed about daily life care. They feel more comfortable knowing someone is close by should something happen to either one, they enjoy the socialization with others, which was harder living in a regular house in a regular neighborhood. And having the food prepared has relieved them of shopping and cooking all the meals. It was a tough decision for them to make to move into an assisted living facility. They agonized about it but now that they have been there almost 5 years they are very content.

My family recently decided to move our 100 year old mother into an Assisted Living Community. We took a few tours and decided on The Commons, at Dallas Ranch. The facility is beautiful and in very good condition. The staff working there are very caring (to residents and their families) and are very hardworking! We have been so very happy with he commons, the care and kindness of the employees is top notch! Melissa S. In particular has shown nothing but heartfelt care for my mom and dad. She is caring and gracious and truly understands the needs of seniors. She senses their needs without them having to ask. She is wonderful!. Thank you Melissa! We have honestly not encountered any employee who has not been friendly, kind-hearted and caring. They all know my parents names, they ask about their lives, joke with them, make them laugh, couldn't ask for anything more!

I wanted to give one of my fathers care givers, Brittany Papeti , a shout out and a thank you for what she does for him. She understands his personality and he loves to joke with her. I am also thankful that she picked up on a health issue he had that needed some ER attention. I am not sure if anyone else other than Brittany would have recognized something was not right and I am thankful for that call she gave me to take immediate action. She also makes a point to come say hello every time she sees me visiting and makes our interaction very personable and it makes me feel good she is part of the MBK team in caring for my father. I’d like to give a special review for Brittany Papetti whose exceptional care of my mother has been a godsend! Mom’s caregivers in general have been kind, caring, thoughtful and loving, in addition to their professionalism. I single out Brittany because of her ability to go beyond all the above characteristics and has shown great patience, insight and integrity giving her care but also enlightening me when mom may need more from myself, preventing a decrease in her medical condition. When a family member is being cared for with such kindness, thoughtfulness and compassion, it gives me great comfort to know she has that in this time of vulnerability. My mother raised 9 children while moving every 2 years and demonstrated a strong character and loving kindness to others herself. The caregivers she’s had have demonstrated equal strength in returning her love and kindness when she has become so fragile. This review is long overdue. We bought my Mom here at the end of June from a different facility in Walnut Creek. We have been so impressed with the level of care and quite honestly love that she has received from everyone. She laughs and smiles more than she has done in 10+ years. We visit her daily so we see first hand what excellent care she receives and we have come to know most of the staff that have become an extension of my Moms family now. The Medical Director, Diane visits her almost daily, actually this is something that she does with all of the residents. Diane you are amazing ! My mother, Jean D. become a resident two weeks ago and my brother Bill and I are so impressed with the care staff, Chef/food/service staff, and the facilities director. She was at a different facility and in just two weeks they have made my mother feel at home, changed her room around to make it more conductive for relaxation (watching TV) and hung all her pictures with out us asking. Nelli is a fantastic. She continues to communicate with my brother about my mom and her observations. We couldn't be happier and looking forward to sharing more great experiences. I can’t say enough good things about The Commons at Dallas Ranch. We brought my mother her one year ago from Ohio. She absolutely loves living here. She tells us all the time how much she loves her apartment. The staff have made her feel wanted and very comfortable in her new environment. The director Alberto is especially kind to not only the residents but to their families as well. Don’t need to worry about mom getting her medication because the med techs are very conscientious and professional, especially Elsie. Dolitah, the activity’s director, helped me plan my mom’s 90th birthday party. We had it right there at The Commons, and Tony, the chef, catered the event . The food was excellent and the party was a great success with the help of Gloria and Dolitah. The food is always good! Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner! Mom is well feed with nutritious meals. All of the staff at The Commons are warm and friendly everyone seems to always have a smile on their faces. Don’t want to forget Darla, mom’s hairdresser. Her beauty shop is right down the hallway from mom’s apartment and she does a wonderful job making mom feel pretty. My mom is well taken care of and I can sleep at night. It was a big risk having my mom leave her home in Ohio, but she says it was the best thing she has done in a long time. She loves her new home thanks to everyone who works at the Commons. Great place! My great grandfather has been here for years, and they have been nothing but accommodating. The best care possible and he is never made to feel alone or like he is not welcomed. The Commons is a wonderful place for your loved one to live. The level of respect from Executive Director, Business Manager, Nurse, Bus Driver, Med Tech, Activities Director, and everyone else that i have come in contact with that works there, is incredible. They are humble and kind, and go above and beyond to make sure the residents are nurtured and well cared for. It has an atmosphere that feels like home, where everyone treats you like family. They offer individual and personalized care to enrich the resident's mind, body and spirit. They also go above and beyond to make sure the families of the residents are well cared for as well. If you are looking for a place to put a loved one so that you can feel comfortable and confident THE COMMONS AT DALLAS RANCH is the place. Alberto is the ED who is professional, curious and an excellent communicator. He always gets right back to me and makes every effort to accommodate my questions or Mother-In-Law's needs. It is clean, organized, spacious with a professional and loving staff. The rooms are light and airy, the food is healthy and nutritious. They also offer a menu that is available for residents to order from outside of the scheduled meals. They will even deliver meals to your room if needed. They offer Bingo, on-site shopping, movie nights and have a private room to reserve for private gatherings. If there is an activity that is not currently being offered that a resident would like to do or have available on site, they will make every effort to make it happen. There is also a salon so residents can have their hair and nails done right there. They offer all levels of assisted living as well as a separate and secure memory care wing. I feel so comfortable knowing my Mother-In-Law is safe and secure with thoughtful and caring individuals to help her anytime she needs it. We looked at many places before deciding on The Commons at Dallas Ranch. We are so glad a room opened up for her, because they rarely have openings. I highly recommend The Commons.

The Commons at Dallas Ranch is the best! A couple of years ago it became apparent that my 80+ year old aunt could not safely live alone in her own home. Our family began the process of touring assisted living facilities throughout the entire Bay Area, but could find none that met both our price point and high standard for cleanliness and care. We initially didn't look in Antioch because we snobbishly thought they would offer much less than facilities in San Francisco. We could not have been more wrong! The Commons at Dallas Ranch met and continues to exceed our expectations. My aunt lived in the city of San Francisco for over 50 years and was very reluctant to leave the city limits. We looked at numerous facilities in San Francisco, and not only were they three times as expensive as the Commons, but they paled in comparison to the caring staff, delicious meals, and spacious rooms provided at the Commons. We searched from Oakland to Vacaville and found some fabulous and not so fabulous places, but none scored as high with us as the Commons. Fast forward to a year later and we absolutely love this place. The staff is like our extended family and they genuinely care about the well being of my aunt (who can be a bit feisty). We also love that there is always a full schedule of activities and even a hair salon on site. But most importantly- my aunt is thriving there. I cannot thank the management and staff enough for going above and beyond for their residents and providing a safe, caring environment for people to age with dignity.
